Well, it's *your* chart Toro makes those aspects in. I also know from personal experience that a lot of people claim to be the victim of bullying when really they said or did something to start the whole situation, so honestly I have a hard time taking anyone at their word on this type of thing. The 7th house can also signify people who are supposed to come into your life. Sometimes it is that literal (especially in a solar return, I have found). Yes, it is conjunct my NN but Toro signifies many other things besides bullying, which is what you have decided to focus on. I can see why you can’t just take the word of some random person on the internet but I have actually written about my experiences and ended up studying sociology and psychology as well as conflict management because of my life experiences (I learned that victim blaming is a no-no). Plus, since we are judging others solely based on a single asteroid placement, Fides 1Aqu02 (#37 – Roman Goddess of Trust as well as “overt honesty and faithfulness”) is conjunct my Ascendant 1Aqu13… The only thing I did to provoke the bullying was attend a predominantly white school located in an upper-middle class neighborhood while being quiet, shy, black and poor (oh, and weird and smart too, that made it even worse). Okay, I also had only 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts to wear (I had to learn permutations and combinations at a young age) and my hair was “weird”, “puffy” and “sticking up” so that might be considered provocation. Who knows though, maybe bullying is in my future…I might decide to become a drill sergeant…I might sign up for a reality show and get cast as the one who “keeps it real”…I might join a sorority in an 80’s teen movie…I might also decide to write my dissertation on cyberbullying (thanks for the inspiration)…who knows… On topic: On top of Huberta (#260 - hunting, searching, researching and investigating – a huge, huge part of my life actually) and the controversial Toro, I also have Mnemosyne (7Vir59) conjunct my NN (8Vir50). Also, from professional experience as an educator(eta: as well as analyst and researcher) this is rare. You don't "provoke" by being yourself, especially if yourself is weird. Some kids have behavioral issues and have witnessed, blah, blah, this is not a research paper. In other words, "She was asking for it" is never an excuse... Although, I did see that episode of 30 Rock where Liz Lemon remembered being bullied but it turned out she was the bully... IP: Logged |

Thanks, Ami! I mean the link to that site you had recommended! I just plugged in my natal stats and voila I found all my asteroids. It's a bear to read but it's the only way I can study where's what in terms of asteroids in my chart! quote:

Apart from my name asteroid which is conjunct true node and Dejanira which is conjunct mean node 0.23 deg (yuck  don't want to even talk about this) ... I have a whole bunch +- 1.5 degrees orb Egeria = (conjunct true node 1 degree)
Nephthys (conjunct true node orb 0.07)
Ida (conjunct True node orb 0.44)
Astarte (conjunct mean node 0.13)
Constantia (conjunct mean node 0.59)
Kriemhild (conjunct mean node 1 deg)
Medusa (conjunct mean node 1.05 deg)
Absolus 24 (conjunct mean node 1.35 deg) As far as I know Egeria was a roman nymph and a prophetess and author of sacred books; Ida was a greek nymph associated with mountains (Mount Ida), Nephthys was an Egyptian goddess of the dead who brings to the surface that which is hidden; Astarte was a semetic goddess of love and fertility; Constantia means being of constant character; Kriemheld was a Norse princess associated with capacity for taking revenge (she murdered her husband's murderers); Medusa was the serpent haired monster both poisonous and potent; and Absolus, a centaur - a seer and a magician. Not sure how to bring that all together, esp with ******* Dejanira in the mix. Also don't know which Node to use - true or mean, but I suppose it does not make much difference as they are less than 2 degrees apart anyway. IP: Logged |
