I am at “work” so I have time to do stuff like this. It’s great because it looks like I am busy actually typing something for them...1st house: Aquarius - I have described my looks so many times in this forum The only thing Aquarian about my appearance is the height (5'10") and long legs. I always used to get into trouble at my many jobs when I was younger for wearing skirts/dresses that were too short. My excuse was “I can’t help it, I have long legs!”.Yeah. I feel like a totally different person now. I dress way more conservatively now, classic and tasteful (not that I was doing anything distasteful then, just inappropriate). Nothing in this house, well Pallas, Psyche and Eros. 2nd house: Pisces - Possessions and money? I have neither. Well, I have lots of dumb stuff - books, DVDs, VHS tapes, music. I love music and have 500+ CDs. If I have an extra dollar in the bank it goes to iTunes. Got so many books (appx. 300), I had to rent a storage unit to hold them. I could no longer afford it so now I have books everywhere. Underbed storage just full of books, books in the closet. I was told that books have their own energy, guess that’s what has been keeping me up at night. I could open my own used junk store and I will soon on Ebay. South Node is here, yeah I need to give it up. 3rd house: Aries - How do communications, cars, siblings all go together exactly? 3rd house seems more like a “dust bin”. Anyway...I am surprised at how well I give speeches. I love cars - this is pretty recent actually. I only got my license 3 years ago (26) because I’ve always relied on public trans. I still prefer it. It is more of a money issue though (secret: I’d rather spend the insurance/car payment/parking money on something else...like...books, CDs, DVDs...bleh). My sibbies are cool. I have a nickname for everything and everyone. I’d rather stay away from my neighbors. Ceres is here. Part of Fortune is also here. What a crappy house to have it in. ETA: re POF, actually pretty good considering the grand trines it brings! 4th house: Taurus - Mom is okay, could’ve been better. She’s a double Cap, Moon in Sag. My living spaces have always been nicely decorated. I’m a crazy person who actually draws up plans for decorating. My dream is to live near a city, but not in it. I’d actually like to live really country, on a farm with pigs and chickens, dogs, cats and kids running around. Guess I have that Alabama in me after all. Chiron is here. Well, my mom and dad divorced (bitterly) when I was young and we was po’, po’, po’!!! So I used to get made fun of with my po’ self. It wasn't so bad though, we had lots of family support and eventually it all worked out. I guess that is why I overcompensate, with all the media and over-packed closets. Vesta here as well. 5th house: Gemini - I love any kind of trivia game, pop culture, I love it all. I like to write junk like this for fun. I have written about 50 million bios about myself in 50 million different ways. This is actually the second time I’ve done it astrologically but the first time was actually inspired by this site! I always had a notebook for jotting stuff down growing up (mom could always afford that at least) and I still do it. If someone says something I like, or I think of something funny, I write it down. I love kids and I am definitely going to be one of those people who is determined to raise geniuses - I act like that with kids who aren’t even related to me “Do you know what ____ means?”. I’m one of those people. Romantically, well, I did have a number of dates when I was younger (men in tow, too-tight dresses - Leo). Those days are over. I guess because my Sun is in the 7th, I’m more of a LTR person. In my hs yearbook my best friend wrote “you’ve got to stop writing letters!” because I used to write love notes to guys and it would often get me into trouble! Mars is here so I’m a real jerk when I am playing these trivia games. I don’t play too many sports but when I do I am a jerk to play with. In tennis, I grunt like Monica Seles. In soccer or field hockey I curse like a sailor. Even walking in the city I’m like “c’mon, hurry up!”. I’m trying to develop more patience. I know it’s not my best side . Juno is also here.

6th house: Cancer - I’m fairly healthy but I am a major migraine sufferer and I have been ever since I was a child. They can be brought on by anything so I have to drug myself up most of the time. Work, work? What’s that? I am surprised I don’t have a huge stellium here because I have had 30 jobs (ETA: I actually do in my progressed chart). Literally. Not only temp gigs either, I’ve only had 2 or 3 of those. I have been known to have 2 jobs at a time. Once I had 2 full time jobs, another time I had a full time job and 2 part time jobs and once I had 3 part time jobs at once. Oh how the economy has changed...Now, I’d like to work from home (Cancer, 6th house - how cute). Yay pets! I love all animals. I turn into a crazy person around animals; I even have a crazy animal voice that I do. It can get annoying to outsiders but pets love it! I’m not just like “Oh, nice to see you have a dog in your home”, I am more like “Here I am rolling around on your floor getting your dog all riled up!” 7th house: Leo - Relationships are very important to me. Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus conj DC are here. I know it includes all one-on-one relations but I think I have talked way too much about relationships already. 8th house: Virgo - This is the toughest house. I have Saturn, Vertex and North Node here and, in Placidus, Pluto. I think that it says a lot that I don’t even want to talk about it. 9th house: Libra - I am obsessed with college. I have had many majors: teaching, communications, architecture, business. I have actual degrees in health sciences and in psychology/sociology (behavioral sciences). Soon to be working on a masters in psychology and sociology and I hope to work anthropology in there somewhere. I’ll be in college forever. I have a hodge podge of beliefs that I pass as “religion”, like most people. I don’t know. Moon conjunct Pluto here. 10th house: Scorpio - I want to teach and counsel. I could teach now...in NJ. My paperwork is too late to start in the fall though. I can start next year. I say “start” like NJ schools are just clamoring for high school psychology teachers. We’ll see. My goal is to eventually work from home, an online professor thing. That is quite fitting. Uranus is here. ETA: Luckily, my grad school offers a NYS education certification option so I'll be able to teach in NY (health) next fall as well! Yay! 11th house: Sagittarius - I have had crappy friends. People who actually lie, cheat and steal. When Pluto went through Sag I was sad at first but ultimately relieved. The bad ones left and the few good ones stayed. Don’t get me wrong - I was no perfect angel, so for some getting lost was good for both parties. I just want to experience more of the New Agers, musicians, artists that having Neptune here is supposed to bring. 12th house: Capricorn - Am I supposed to know what is happening in this house? All I know is that the 8th is involved as well (Saturn in the 8th). Oh Snap!

Hey downtomars!Let me start by saying that i absolutely adored your introduction . Now that that is out of the way: your NN conjunct my SN orb 0 (mine is in 6th house though) ! we also have: your neptune cnj my sun (2) your MC cnj my Venus (0) your POF cnj my AC I agree 100 percent with your approach to university, books, cds! IT's amazing to hear about someone who feels that way about books , especially considering these modern times and the amount of publishing possessed with self help text books and chicklit novels. What are some of your favorite books? Have you checked literary asteroid locations in your chart? I'm studying psychology as well. What areas are you especially interested in?

Evander - My book collection is a lot like the non-fiction side of the bookstore. Let’s see: Tons of social science/issues, many bios, lots of physical and biological sciences, lots of pop culture, new age/occult, humor, cookbooks, travel and religion. I only have about 30-40 works of fiction - the classics, mostly leather-bound. I have exactly one chick-lit book and it is because it combines a social science sub-category (body image) with the chick-litiness. See, that’s why I can’t get rid of them they are full of useful information!!! As for psychology, I am interested in research and that is where the sociology comes in because I am primarily interested in social research. I can study the theories forever but it is better for me to see them in action, in society, today! quote: your NN conjunct my SN orb 0
Very interesting

There is this movie called "Wishful Thinking" and in it Jon Stewart plays a writer who only sleeps from 4-8 - am and pm to equal 8 hours...I think I might do something similar, 5-9 perhaps? IP: Logged |
