What do good aspects between these two asteroids in synastry mean, does anyone know?

(In this case, a double whammy)

GREAT to have these in good aspect in synastry. Amor is love. Valentine is sacrificial love such that one would throw himself in front of a bus for the other( figuratively, hopefully )

Well, the term soul mate aspect would include those aspects that tend to bind the people heart and soul. I think this one would do that imho

My cousin has this in conjunction w/ his new GF but it's at 2'45 degs. Does that count?

I'd like an answer to that too Moonfish, how close for asteroids. Personally I keep within 2 degrees, but maybe 3 is adequate or maybe you should only consider 1 and under.

Well, certainly many around here who try to organize ways to recognize "soul mates" regularly include those two asteroids as significant in their synastry calculations.

Iq, for one, includes them in his 'Soul Mate Synastry Calculator.'

Here is a link to that page of his site:
http://www.tamsoft.co.in/soulmates.html

He also presented same calculator in a thread here:
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/200943.html

Looks like he used 2 degrees for conjunctions between asteroids; and 1.5 for trine, opposition, and quincunx. Of course others use other orbs. ...Most would probably agree that a double whammy deserves a slightly larger orb allowance, eh?

I asked that question too, and iQ said it has an effect but is weaker than a double whammy. I asked about Aphrodite/Adonis conjunct at 2', plus Aphrodite/Adonis at 4'.

Ah, yes. I think I just saw that thread. Was that regarding having those in aspect in both Helio and Geo?
