Asteroid 2174, Asmodeus, was named for the Babylonian god of lust, considered prince of the Revengers of Evil.Astrologically, Asmodeus seems to indicate to have something, hooked, hung, caught, trapped, cornered; fishing tackle; guts (according to astrologer Damian Foor).

Its at 21 Virgo its sq. to my MOON and sq. to Eros .
Don't know how that plays out.
Its trine to my boyfr. Sun and sq. to his Saturn.

Well, that explains everything - as far as synastry goes for me!  In my Natal it squares my AC almost exact ( 2 orb gap ), as well as trines my 12th with same.
What type of effect would this have then? Also, what is the difference between Asteroids affecting a planet vs a house please? ------------------

My Asmodeus is on my Chiron....? Omg....is this another aspect that says I lust after pain?? Seriously...I don't! Maybe I lust after healing...yes! Maybe I see ways to use pain in order to heal...but no I don't want to be hurt! Someone whom I lust after, he seems to lust after me also....

Mine is in wide conjunction SN (orb 4) and almost exactly trine to Venus. Too bad it's in H6 and Venus in H2: I'm lustful for work in order to make money from artistic projects.  On a second look, Asmodeus is at the apex of a yod with Pluto (H11) and Neptune (H1). I'm not sure know how to interpret this.  IP: Logged |

The heliocentric NODE of this asteroid is exactly conjunct node of Midas.

King of the Demons? Ohhh, isn't that fascinating! If we go purely from etymological roots, we also have a 'demon of wrath', or 'wrathful demon'. Indeed, ASMODEUS represents 'the demon of carnal desire'. And what, but to find it 0º conjunct my twin's NYMPHE! Which, of course, lies 2º from his MOON. I'm afraid the 'king of all demons' and, specifically, that which is linked to lust and carnal desires, DOES loom powerfully in his life; whether by way of the 0º conjunction to NYMPHE (liberated and innocent sexuality) representing the issues of NYMPHE being 'the king of all demons' (oh, they are!) or the straight 2º conjunction to his MOON from ASMODEUS. My goodness! As these overlay my 8H and square my own NYMPHE-NESSUS (0º-1º) from the 11H, I have been more-or-less obsessive since the very start to help him resolve his deep issues regarding sexuality. My Natal ASMODEUS is 14'Scorpio 1st House.
No aspects under 4 degrees to other natal planets, so I won't count them.However, it is 4 degrees from my ANTI-VERTEX, so another's planet within 2 degrees of my VERTEX/ANTI-VERTEX might be pretty burny! I will check synastry/comp and return. IP: Logged |

So, I have:Their NEPTUNE/MOON conj. my ASMODEUS/ANTI-VERTEX 2'. My MOON conj. their ASMODEUS 2'.
My NEPTUNE square their ASMODEUS 2'. No idea of interpretation at this moment, but since it is a doubler, worthy of attention. ETA: There is a culture in this relationship of raising the emotional dead if you like. Stuff neither of us has addressed in a long time, has reared its head for re-analysis and deeper empathy. The emotional penetration is actually quite arousing, virtually sexual, in an otherwise platonic relationship. I have felt aversion though, within myself, and a feeling that things may not be as they seem, so I take breaks from being exhumed - I suspect that may be the square to my NEPTUNE. I went out on a date with a guy a couple days ago
His Sun on my Moon
His Venus is on my AC/Pluto
His Eros/Mars is on my Mars.
His Mars trines my Venus
His Lust is on my BM Lilith/my DC opposed his Venus.
His Vesta/Pallas/Saturn is on my IC/Eros/Valentine/LustMy Asmodeus is on my Sun/Moon midpoint, which is also on his AC and opposes his Moon. I don't think my attraction should be as equal as his, but it is. Although I seem to be more in control of it. Would that be my Asmodeus in play? In comp we have a grand trine

Oh gosh... I have this conjunct Venus in Taurus in the 29th degree conjunct my DC Hahaha oh gosh well to tell you the truth it makes perfect sense. I am a horn dog out of control sometimes.
The guy I am interested in has his Eros conjunct my Asmodeus//Pholus/Venus/DC and his Asmodeus/Pluto/Mercury/Jupiter is conjunct my Moon. INTENSE!!! Not to mention we already have a fat Mars square Pluto among other aspects.
