You've made really valid points about the benefits of taking time to present yourself to the world. I didn't mean that a girl shouldn't do that or that she should feel bad for it..ugh I feel a little misunderstood. I take time to look nice too, my body is my sacred temple and I'm a Goddess..thats my additude everyday! I want my outside to reflect at least as much as possible my inside..I'm just trying to say I don't want my inside ignored, you know? Hey I'm all for beautiful girls being smart, funny, confident and beautiful souls all at the same time! I also self proclaim myself to be this way. I hate when I can't prove how sweet and kind I am befor other girls assume I'm this stuck up biotch because of my looks. That REALLY sucks..and and thats what I meant when I said I hate getting dirty looks. I didn't mean to attack barbie, I meant to attack the symbol barbie has become..and I shouldn't have made that comment (it does sound offensive) I was thinking more of how certain barbie want a be girls are not respectful of themselves. My biggest complaint is when guys disrespectfully stare at me (ogle) with intense, unrelenting bedroom eyes and make me feel extremely uncomfortable. And I stand by what I say about media images, but thats my opinion..as this all is.. I guess I'll just agree to disagree...to me it really is more important that we see each other for awesome people we are and not our arguments, right? lets be happy..sorry I'm being corny but I just don't want this to get to heated, since I don't know you very well yet.

I also agree with that statement you made about being comfortable in your own skin. You right that if we rely on people's opinions we will ride a rollercoaster of ups and downs our whole life! Good Point, it sounds like a Buddhist qoute I read once, I forgot how it went..but its very wise just the same. I usually try to live by that too, I'm just truly worried about the fabric of our society.

26taurus, im really sorry that you thought I was attacking you, I swear I wasnt at all. When I said "I dont know about you girls but I like to ogle at a guy...." I meant all the girls that might be reading my post, meaning I dont know how the rest of you react when you see a nice looking fella, but you know, yeah I like to stare for a minute, or 2, or 5...lol. But yeah, if I get a negative reaction from the guy Im looking at then yeah, I stop looking.

However I have seen cases where some girls (not any of you) get offended whenever they see a guy checking them out. Whether the guy is ogling in a rude manner or not.

Dont worry about it 26taurus. Im misunderstood alot, especially by Tauruses and other fixed signs. I think I have a big lesson to learn because my mom, my best friend, and my son are all Tauruses. I think all these Tauruses in my life were sent to me for a reason.

Speaking of fixed signs, I should dump my gemini man and get an aquarius because Im a Leo, My son is a Taurus, and my daughter is a scorpio. See I need an aquarius husband and we'd have a fixed little family. LOL! No thanks!

LoL well my son's sitter is a Taurus and I also have a girlfriend that's a Taurus, when I'm around them I usually turn into lil pussycat (maybe it's that Cancer moon kickin in or I just turn into a cowardly lion), I WOULDN'T DARE argue with them unless it's mandatory (like, uh if my life depended on it) that's how I deal with them LoL.
That's why I said it was cute when 26 did that. It kinda made me wanna pinch her cheeks. The familiarity was adorable to me.

Oh yea!! I just had an epiphany about why I get passionate about certain causes, why didn't I think of this before..MY Sun is Leo and my Moon is Taurus, so there you go. Man I never thought about what I lethal combo that was..but don't fear I'm pretty sure my asc is Virgo now (the verdict is still out)..interesting balance, hehe.
