Hearing an update would be nice!

As for what I can share on asthma -

I used to have it.

I just more or less quit hyper sugary things. This is probably obvious, but I'll say it anyway = junk food is bad.

And when I was younger, my brother had asthma issues which would flare up. I remember my mom giving him vitamin C regularly and it would go away. She did same for me when mine flared up.

Fastforward as an adult now, I just took vitamin C regularly for a year, and minimized sugary foods and drinks. (maybe one soda/carbonated drink a month, if that.) and now I don't think I even have asthma anymore. Haven't had an attack in years.

So, try VC, and avoid sugary things?

Vitamin C is an excellent anti inflammatory in general. I don't know where you get it, but here you can find some effervescent vitamin C tabs at the pharmacy. My sister didn't have asthma though, and then got it when she was 30 when she moved. Her asthma was "particular" though. It was mainly due to fungus. She moved to a very "wet" place and the air was saturated with bacteria and fungi that she wasn't used to. Her breathing isn't SO bad but it used to be, and she was told it was likely do to the climate. She always said she felt it less strongly when she was near the salty sea air.

And then there's a nutritionist that a friend of mine went to see in the UK, who'd had some successes. He told her that some vegetables can inflame the system badly.

Have you ever tried a food allergy test? I don't know where you are or if they offer them. Basically you just eat a bunch of different things, they test you for intolerance/inflammation markers based on what your body can take in, and it can tell you what's causing issues. You could look into that. I think anything that removes a "stress" from the body would likely help.

Nothing here is the magic bullet, but maybe could help in understanding it better, and perhaps a bit of everyone's advice could long term have a cumulative effect that will help you. These things do take time, and sometimes months to see the benefits, so don't lose hope if first try you don't see improvement. Heck, I had to take supplements and use a special shampoo for nearly a year before my lost hair grew back and became thicker again. So, these things can take some time.
Anyhow, I hope for an update, and hope you're doing better.
