I was thinking how our health as individuals is so important in these times. maybe we can all find minor ways to find remedies (not likely cures) ..

Please use this thread to share your herbs and spices that you use for various reasons include why you choose them and any links LL-ers might find helpful too. Thank you and much wellness to all LL.

I've been trying Fennel Seed recently for weight (water weight) and it's supposed to help with many ailments:

I am hoping to buy zinc soon. I’ve heard it’s great for corona defense and revocery.

Randall, it really breaks up phlegm. Which makes it a nice tool whilst we are facing a chronic virus. And no chemicals, the seeds are harmless to the biology of the person using them. Unless there's an odd allergy I suppose.

I think Zinc has been helpful in my fight too. I mix it and vit C in water (can't digest pills) it seems to be keeping my good bacteria in fighting order. Some people get Zinc lozenges. It is offered in various ways.
Stay healthy Stawr and Randall.

I always use turmeric and red pepper in my food.

Powdered cloves on meat and fish.

Cumin seeds too.

In the end I always garnish with Coriander, parsley or mint depending on if its meat or seafood. Its good source of magnesium.

Good news, I was able to buy some zinc supplements at my local Fresh Thyme.

I've been taking them everyday.

Thanks Phoenix Rising! I need to research
these for their many uses. Very good info you shared.
The curry I love but it seejs to have a strange effect with me. The cumin seeds definitely sound good. Parsley is a well liked one too. I'm fond of cilantro.

Just stopping by to be friendly and say hello.

I used to have a textbook on this topic, but I have NO idea which of my storage bins might hold that particular book. arrrgh.

So generally,
I thought that Celery is supposed to be a good nutrient for supporting the nerve system.

slightly off-topic
Maybe check out homeopathic remedies--
Cell Salts formulas.
I vaguely recall that one of their formulas is designed to support neuro system.

Ran across an astrologer video today with an answer to your thread for 'author/writer transits'. Also touches upon this thread's topic lightly.

Your writer's transit is coming up next week.
Much Love! and Good Luck.

Listened to a video today by a herbologist,
and her astrologer husband.
Thought of this thread.

<<link removed>>

In the vid she mentions an herbal shop owned by her and her husband.
The website is still under construction and being tested.
If you're interested in any of her consults or future classes, go to the website they mention in the vid.
They are in region of Baltimore, Maryland USA.

Glad that you're here too, MoonMystic.

Saw this article on Forget-me-not.
excerpt, quote
This page features the healing resonance of FORGET-ME-NOT which gently addresses 'painful feelings of separation and isolation' by reminding us of our connections with other dimensions.
It is one of the Flower Essence Services (FES) remedies, which you can read about on their website here and here, and where you can also buy this flower essence (recommended).

The methods of self-healing described below can be useful when you do not have the remedy to hand.
They will tide you over until you can obtain it, or can substitute entirely when it is impossible to obtain the remedy for whatever reason.

I use spices a lot in my cooking and also aromatic herbs. Normally one should use them in seeds and not ground, because the manufacture for this last can become doubtful. For the fennel, in vegetable the fennel bulb, excellent vintage with a dash of lemon and olive oil ...

Thank you Mirage.
That is worth trying. I'll see if I can find a wallpaper to view, meditate on a bit. They are so pretty. How perfect when separation is so common with this year.
