To me, of all the small houses I've seen on youtube this gentleman's situation is the best I've seen.

.

He got his space when the market was right and was smart about it in so many ways.

Nice for a bachelor, I guess.

But if I walked into that bedroom I'd right away ask: "Who the hell is that b*tch on the wall?"

LOL

J/K!

Well, I might ask it as a joke and see what kind of reaction I'd get.

The warm neutrals need a splash of cool color there.

Just like the prev. pad was cool neutrals with a splash of warm orange. Well done.

it's versace (the bldg) inspired so i have to stick with italian.

not as bland/ neutral as the hotel room suite but kinda cliche man choices. lotsa black. it's gonna take awhile to finish (the bldg itself) but i have the pieces in storage.

i'll give you private a tour!

oh dear, is it really!!

being serious?

Well, she's beautiful and it's a great portrait! Stylish for a men's pad. Especially if it holds meaning like that.

Naw, I wouldnt walk away. But I would wonder if you were really a Cancer Sun!

I bet it will look fab when you do.

Yeah, i'm a fan of bold colors. Also a huge fan of white and greys with splashes of jewel tones.

I do not like Itailan style beigies, or too much gold. Or black leather or lots of black peices in a room in general.

Two colors I also cannont take are maroon and forrest green. Especially together with lots of dark polished wood and gold accents.

I like a light airy feeling with lots of color, or with cool whites and greys and splashes of one color or colors withing a similar family.

A hotel is different.

I'd totally make a big deal about it if it were a guy's room though.

*Tau/Leo drama*

*pointing, pretend furious*

"AND WHO THE HELL IS SHE???!!!"

lol but totally be joking and dramatic just to get a laugh.

You know well enough not to decorate you pad with framed sports posters or in all tans and browns.

Men should be less afraid of color.

Nice!!!

I liked this bedroom:

and then there's...

which i actually think is kind of cool

There was a funny commentary on bachelor pads that I'd sent to a single male friend of mine, but it's been taken down now.

If i find it again I'll post it because I think you guys would find it hilarious too.

i own a print of this. it's an alphabet series from a comic book illustrator. it's the A for my name. though it's A because of the angel behind the mother and child.

*gasp!*

lol

Yeah, that's a great idea too. Keep everything kind of low key and let some awesome art make the place really pop!

I've a great little white loveseat that I couldnt get rid of and have a very colorful painting of mine behind it. The go together really well.

I try to keep the big pieces in my space light and suble and let the accents and art make the statements.....like wearing jewelry.
