Hi!

Can I copy your last post from Yellow Wax into this thread and start from there?

Hi mirage!

Hope you're okay? I don't mind people complaining at all, I'm a Pisces moon and would rather know how people really are. =)

I don't trust doctors either... I really should try harder to find a good one, but I'm so disenchanted with the whole system, it kind of depresses me to interact with any of them.

The family doctor I take my children to is excellent, but not well-versed enough in so-called alternative medicine to provide what I'm looking for.

Anyway...

Rather than copying everything from Yellow Wax, I'll just say a few things:

1) Your NN is conjunct the Galactic Center?

I love that! I think your NN is near Ami Anne's...I was telling her before about this book I like called The Secret Language of Destiny, which has a lot of cool stuff to say about people with third decan Sag NN (before Sag-Cap Cusp.) The author calls this The Way of Amplification. I forget the details but I can look it up again if you're interested.

2) Your ASC is conjunct my Neptune. Your ASC is also conjunct Elvis' ASC. =) Ever feel like wearing rhinestone jumpsuits??

I <3<3<3 Elvis.

3) Polyhymnia! I read the description and thought, this asteroid has to be some key place in my chart, I love this description of her:

quote:
Polyhymnia(Polymnia) was the Muse of the divine hymns, the sacred poetry and the pantomime. She was also famous for inventing the science of geometry.

Polyhymnia is often depicted like a very strict and thinking deity, with a wrath of daphne in her hair, looking up to the sky and expressing herself with gestures while playing the lyre.

http://www.greek-gods.info/ancient-greek-gods/muses/polyhymnia/

It's at 13 Pisces, almost 5 degrees from my moon...orb too wide to count...but I vaguely recall some other asteroid I have there.

I actually like "sacred music" very much and would go to church if I could find one I liked. When I was a Presbyterian we used to sing the Psalms acapella, from a psalter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB2efUp33B0

^ one of the things that drew me to that church.

As for the voice ensemble in NY called Polyhymnia, I'm still trying to get a listen. The songs play for two seconds then stop.

4) The Xiiro thread

We talk about a lot of stuff that I am embarrassed to have an older, church-going woman read.

He and I both grew up in religious households, though, which may be one of the reasons we seem to have a lot to talk about. We are also both Irish. I think Irish people communicate similarly.

The thread is mostly about philosophical ideas and sci-fi but just warn you there is also some stuff about sex, drugs, witchcraft, ummmm....well it covers a lot of taboo topics.

I used to think the thread wasn't that conspicuous and no one would read it but now it's kind of becoming my memoir, taking up a lot of space. LOL

Hope this post finds you better off than you were last time we talked.

Cheers

Hi Faith!

Just popping in right now... problems with neighbor and their mega-sound-speakers against my apartment walls. Pictures on the wall are literally making rattling and buzzing sounds on our own walls. Nothing I can do about it! (wow... that's LOUDer...) My body nervous system is shaking too!

Oh thank you for this!!!

It'll take me a bit to get back to you because I need a little time to soak things up and sort out my impressions.

My first impression is just

I LOVE your writing!!

'Hope I can keep up with you and not disappoint you, I feel a little dull but at least I can listen...and listen well.

Listening to Alfie again

Talk to you soon! Hope your neighbors' speakers break!

You are a woman, multi-talented like me, and we're both struggling to survive, and we want to do the "right" thing in life. How can you disappoint me?

*sniffle sniffle*

This full moon is driving me bonkers, I'm so emotional & it's hard to get a grip. But thanks, just that simple observation is making me tear up.

Sometimes I get a little crazy~ that's bound to disappoint everyone!

But anyway, yeah...1955. You made it sound like you're an old lady, and here you are just a few weeks older than my brother-in-law! And I consider him one of my contemporaries. He skis for a living so it's easy to think of him as young.

And right, you're just a wee bit older than Ami.

I will look your NN up at the library when I can.

Just want to say that all three of you-- you, my brother-in-law, and Ami-- seem to be going through major transformations now, spiritual breakthrough kinda stuff. And it's really got me floored...as I perceive things, it's very unique and almost magical. (Though I have my own ideas of what "magical" means.)

to your Virgo moon.

More to say but my family is calling.

'Later!

^ I don't really understand what these links are about.

But here's a guess~ it seems to me that my comment about being overly optimistic interests you a lot. You mentioned my rose-colored glasses in DD, too.

If you are trying to say that I should try a different approach, please realize that I'm aware of the drawbacks of my mentality and have been working on it.

I don't know how that ties in with peregrine's inadvertant (I'm pretty sure) ageist remarks. Maybe you are saying it's easy to be optimistic when you're young, but I should be more sensitive to people who find it harder?

Peregrine is remarkably kind and forgiving to all...I'm almost positive he meant no harm~ just a misunderstanding.

not a problem... if it doesn't apply to you, then let it go, like other people have done... no need to discuss-much

it's like what juniperb discussed with me once-- after a while you 'learn' who the 'safe' people are

i guess they can just call me a 'slow learner'.... happy?

^ There are a lot of people here to keep track of...about 30-40 regulars I'm familiar with. Randall does a good job eliminating the trolls.

It does all boil down to personal taste with who you feel safe around though. I know people have left just to make sure they don't have to listen to comments from people they disliked. The comments weren't insulting enough to warrant intervention from the mods, but cut into the sensitivities of the other person too much.

I have an ongoing issue with a person here, along those lines. I've just used it as an opportunity for me to strengthen my ability to block someone out of my mind. To say, "That person's problems are not my problem, and I refuse to be controlled by their darkness."

I've come to think of this forum as something like an art medium~ we "sculpt" our experience. At first I just threw myself out there a bit indiscriminately, but then realized how uncomfortable I was in the aftermath, having given so much away to people I don't know or necessarily trust. On the other hand, the temptation is strong, to use this place as a sounding board and therapy.

So that's what I'm trying to balance.

Sometimes that fails and I feel miserable and wonder why this is my "recreation." But I think that's also par for the course, being a forum-dweller.

I looked up your NN, it's NOT the same as Ami & my brother-in-law's after all. It's hard to distill this reading because it's quite larger-than-life and dramatic. And I don't want to plagiarize.

Also I tend to cut out or downplay whatever negative stuff is in the reading because it seems rude to communicate that.

Just lemme know if you're still interested.

Hi Faith, glad to see this message here from you.

For the curious:
NN Sag 1st
Mean NN 27.31'59"
True NN 26.32'59"
Gal Ctr 26.14'20"

Gal Ctr aspects...
cj NN 0.19a
trine Sedna -0.28a
sextile Neptune 0.24s

(Thanks re offer to look it up in your book... I know the book. Next time I go to the bookstore I'll look it up in their copy. No need to press you-- you've got kids!!!)

Sorry if I confused you... I think I got a bit confused myself. I realize that I have "people-wounds" so I choose to consciously err on the side of 'trust' because I know I would want to be given that chance by another. --- It's okay. I'm a person who gives many chances. Sometimes I just need a little time to adjust and process, but I'm growing... and I want to grow.

Love the joke I heard about what Jesus said once... You've gotta turn the other cheek, AND, remember to take one step backwards... (btw, NO that's NOT what it says... I'm joking)

I'm not going anywhere.... I'm staying to work out my relationships, as best as I can. I'm sensitive... but I'm not a wimp!

Blessings on you!

Can you blare something back at them? Adagio for strings?

OK, I won't copy the Destiny stuff here...hope you do get a chance to read it as I think it will be like a gourmet treat for your ego!

So you have Sedna trine GC...how do you interpret that?

I have Sedna more or less conjunct my MC...don't have my exact birth time yet, just a solid approximate time.

Guess what, my Psyche is conjunct your sun!

Can you tell me how long you've been interested in astrology? And are asteroids your favorite subtopic?

I'm glad you give people multiple chances. I think that because my chart is so varied (splash chart) I tend to be "all over the place," and when I meet people in person, they seem to look a bit perplexed for a while as we get to know each other. Because I am kind of loud, bubbly and straightforward (Leo rising; loose air-fire grand sextile)~~ but serious underneath (Cap)~~ and sensitive (Pisces moon.) So I feel like I need a lot of chances to present my whole personality. Does that make sense?

Hope you are having a nice day so far!

My two year-old is running his Thomas train all over me as I type and I'm about to cook some carrot cake with barley flour.

Talk to you later!

I love you Faith!! {{hug}}

Adagio for Strings? heh-heh... I've tried all sorts of shots-across-the-bow with them now... from BeatBox, Binaural, chanting buddhists & catholics, .... just so much, but at this point I think they may be working on 'breaking their lease'... They want someone to be the ones to catalyze their wishes. The thing is that I've been warned NOT to call police. I am in a precarious position in all this. However, my roommate (leaseholder) is quite torqued right now. I had to spend $300 on a lawyer at Christmas to keep us from eviction on a false allegation by them (the police were NOT amused, and were on my side).

Right this minute I'm posting as quickly as I can. Their VIBRATION/ VLF causes my flesh to bunch up on my arms, scalp, and midback. Can't use apartment right now. Gotta go find a place where vibes don't affect so much. I've had to increase taking Calcium & Magnesium to protect my nervous system from this overtop stimulation.

I like loud music... you must know that? But these vibes right now make the picture frames on our wall buzz like a Kazoo!

I am VERY interested in above post you made.... So love that we can talk...

(I Thomas!)

ewwwww.... gottta go for now... sooooo sorry!

Things got rougher over the past few days. A lot of aggression in people here in my 'hood.
My roommate was home this weekend. My normally very low-key and quiet roommate called police on Sunday. The neighbor (a bully, and so sadly 'full' of himself) even told the police he will refuse to stop! ('drugs'?...) Police made report and left. As police took off, the neighbor verbally intimidated (threatened act of physical harm to) roommate. Roommate wrote some letters to management, and faxed lawyer.

We'll see what happens... Please uphold us... I need to maintain serenity and sense it will all end well. So glad I can write you here... isn't internet an amazing phenomenon...

(I haven't been feeling well. Not posting as much recently... it's not that I don't want to. I've even had dreams I was posting! hmmm... )

Sorry I haven't answered your questions, nor commented much. (Faith, I love your writing... and your little one sounds sooooo cute... you ARE blessed!)

Hope you are feeling better... I'll check in again tomorrow maybe late. {{Hugs}} and take good care of yourself.

Thinking of you and your roommate, hoping you are safe!

Thanks for saying I write well; sometimes it's a terrible struggle for me~ Saturn opposes Mercury.

I AM blessed with my children, though.

My two year-old is sick with a cold and fever now...heartbreaking when they are sick. And so stressful sometimes. I had no idea it was this hard when I set out to have a family, I was just thinking of cute babies to lug around and play with. Last week my ten year-old daughter asked when she's allowed to date. Yes...the time has finally come where she realizes boys exist. Just last year her only boy crush was on the cartoon character Peter Pan. Oh I miss that time already! lol

Write if you can and if you wish, I'm not leavin'...
