Lexxi, I just got to the locked thread in SP and I'm very glad I wasn't there to witness that. Your story is why I turned my back on religion, too many blind eyes and excuses.What I'm not glad to hear about was your rape story. I am so, so, so upset you had to go through something like that at such a young age. Its disgusting too that it was implied earlier that if you are raped, you should keep the child because 'omg you can't kill life.' You are such an exceptional person to have gone through so much and continue to bring positivity into the world. You have such an incredible strength that I can feel through the words you convey on here.  IP: Logged |

No, it's disgusting that it's MY opinion and you criticize and judge me for it without having the full reason as to WHY I feel that way or simply just because it's MY opinion. It greatly saddened me and yes, shocked me that you appear to believe that even a 9 year old rape victim should not end a pregnancy and if they do that you see them and all who terminate unwanted pregnancy as murderers.
I thank you profusely for the love you previously gave to me here ;
but at SP on that thread;
"when does human life begin";
lets just say you (and others of same mindset) freaked me out terribly;
and there is no way I can accept that a rape victim of any age is a murderer if they terminate a pregnancy that was the result of rape.
If an adult victim wants to keep the pregnancy, that is an adult decision.
However a child or any underage rape victim should not be forced because of Christian belief to carry the result of rape to term under any circumstance! That is beyond child abuse! continued nest post.......

I understand where you're coming from. I respect your opinion and would never force mine on any of you here. I wish mine were treated the same that it is all. What does constantly repeating ourselves solve when we know we aren't going to budge? Respect my opinion and I will continue to respect yours. Oh and as far as the 'attacking' goes I'm used to it, don't feel bad, I'm fine  I was never upset or even bothered by any of this as it's just the internet. I really wish people would stop involving emotions and then always accusing me of being emotional when I'm not. I'm perfectly fine. IP: Logged |

I do not want to fight with you but I simply cannot condone such heartless thinking no matter what the justification given.
I am sorry you are upset but I have to speak out when folks say such things.Again sorry you feel attacked and all; but try to see where I am coming from.
At least try please. Edit to add:
I think BellaFenice read the things being said at SP and was also horrified that otherwise nice folks could actually believe any rape victim is a murderer for aborting a rape pregnancy; especially cruel when the pregnant rape victim is a child.
Can you try to see how horrible it is to others who do not believe as you do?
Sorry dear but I just do not get that thinking no matter what the justification.

You say though that you wish your opinion were respected;
but;
that opinion includes believing that a 9 year old or any rape victim is a murderer
if they terminate a pregnanny that was the result of rape.
So no dear;
you do not understand or you would be as horrified as I and Bella are.
To condone such child abuse is inexcusable and I cannot respect any opinion that includes demanding that a rape victim; especially a child, be forced to carry that pregnancy to term.
