Ah, so you finally admit to it, after denying it for two days. Yes, but there were two. One that you sent, and I forgave you after you apologized. And then it happened again. I'm also looking for the e-mail exchange where you were just "passing through" (conveniently) and wanted to meet up with me. One thing that I've learned is judge people by what they do, not by what they say. T obviously loves the attention she is now getting from me (negative attention is better than no attention at all) after six years of me ignoring her. If not, she would stop the drama. All she has to do is say the word (and keep her word), and this will end. But she really doesn't want it to end, does she? Her words say she does, but look at her actions. Her actions betray her true feelings. For whatever reason, she must like it, or else she would agree to a truce and keep it.

I'm sure it's offensive to many people how you keep bringing up the "drunk" thing and calling me an alcoholic. Especially to people who have battled addictions.

It makes you look terrible.

I remember the ONE you are talking about. You said the misspelled words scared you. Newsflash Randall, people send emails, texts, post here after a few drinks. It does not make them bad guys.

You're trying really hard to make everyone think I'm a crazy alcoholic. It might be working on some, but really it only makes you look horrible.

Alright....

Mods use the excuse that "we're human too" for when they slip up.
That's understandable. We all are human with feelings. (I hate having feelings at all but that's another issue)

Here's where it gets ugly.

Mods have little accountability for their actions. They slip up like we do but it's constantly hung over our head that we could be banned or the thread closed. Sometimes mods get their last word in and close the thread. Not an explanation, a dig, and then close it.

You see, this is the foundation of the problem. Mods activly use their "power" to suit their personal wishes. When it suits THEM to do it, rather than black and white rules. They may look that way on the outside but truth is, they are greyed rules that are frequently bent, yet users are very cleverly, basically told to shut up or....
There needs to be MORE structure, or at least more adherence to the rules from mods. There needs to be MORE accountability for mods.

You see, the talk is talked here, but the walk is not walked. If a mod is slighted, it's hell to pay. How does that make us feel do you think? Weilding a sword that I'll chop your face off if you disrespect one of ours.

I have a much better idea.
The mods, being representatives of the site, have a responsibility to how things are conducted on the site. But we're using weapons to accomplish this, which is clearly not working. Why don't mods SET THE EXAMPLE?
If you want drama to stop and peace to prevail, make it happen then. Show respect EVEN WHEN DISRESPCTED. Show that you deserve that honor. Set the example that you want others to follow. If you go around perpetuating chaos then chaos will always follow. Do you see?
If my boss at work goes off and breaks some company rule he's as accountable for it as I am. I feel safe.
People don't feel safe here because the almighty fist might come crashing down on us if we're not good little boys and girls.

So mods... Ask yourself, "how do I want this website to be? Chaos? Or peaceful and fair?"
Then make it happen. It's YOUR job to maintain civility. You're the ones that we are supposed to rely on and feel safe to come to.
You have more pressure (or should have) on your back to maintain composure and not engage in such nonsense.

When you engage us in this way, even if we're too unruly to be civil, if you do the same how are we to feel welcome and safe?
Who do we turn to later on? Can we expect to be treated fairly and to be heard?

You see mods, when you engage in and continue this chaos with us it's a much different ballgame.
There's things so much deeper than the drama at hand and I wish you'd take your blinders off to see it.

(Apologies for any typos)

How about you take a serious chill? Mm'kay. Take a breather and reevaluate what you just said.

I'm immature because instead of feeding into a fight that has nothing to do with me, I post hilarious gifs that ring the truth bell.

GET REAL!!!

Go to your happy thread, be happy. Show that you're an adult that doesn't get off on drama.

Faith is SIMPLY trying to bait you. She doesn't want any answers, per se. She wants to start a fight. That is it. It took me 5 years to learn to ignore people doing that to me and I don't always do it LOL

However, there is no end game but the person getting you to fight and make a big blow up and then blame you

I have no problem with you, Faith, but I have to question why you love drama so much and are always trying to gravitate toward it, if not instigate it. That's all Barb is saying with her very humorous interjections. Having a sense of humor, I get it. If T says she agrees to end this, then so will I. All she has to do is type the words. Or just say "Deal." My guess is that she enjoys it for whatever reason. She pretends she doesn't. If she didn't enjoy it, then why wouldn't she keep her word and move on--as we both agreed to numerous times already?

Randall, I want no kind of attention from you. Notice how I didn't reply to your last post to me? But here you say I am continuing the drama? I keep trying to ignore you and then you make some inflammatory statement to try and hook me in again.

I'd love to refresh your memory on this whole thing about me trying to meet you. It wasn't quite like that at all. And yes, I was passing through the state on my way up north. If I was passing through any other states where a friend lived I'd see if they wanted to meet up too. Why not?! I wasn't trying to hook up with you or anything! Stop trying to make it seem like I had some kind of obsession and was just dying to meet you. It wasn't that way at all. And I'm sorry if you took it that way.

After I send this, do you think you can manage to not continue the drama and simply not post to me anymore?

I can do it if you can.

That's like your last resort when someone makes a great point.

That's the "listen to me and shut up" line. I'm not in your shoes.

Same reason why you've been targeting me, Faith.

I had zero, zilch problems with you and you pull a 180 on me because I'm a mod. You and your friends trampled me because I was being an adult, closing a situation that would have only gone in 1, uno, direction. You don't think you're behavior was unpleasant? You don't think that you and your friends were rude and nasty to me, in which I took zero offense to, because I was following rules?

GET REAL!!

But like I stated earlier I'm done. Not going there anymore. I'll do what I have to and you do what you have to.

Happy Holidays.

I'd like to say something as well.
I want to unload some things i witness here that aren't mine. It's here where they belong. If anything - would help to raise the level of awareness. I mean, there's some sick stuff - that bumps into my head whenever i join LL and it's not mine. And no, i don't want you to take my word for it (as it goes with others) - "what i say will imply prof/evidence as well".

T has probably left so this thread will hopefully die off.

I just want to do a recap of everything I have learned from this marathon conversation:

Once upon a time, Randall and T flirted with each other. Nothing came of it, and in fact, things turned a little sour, as if commonly happens with people who start off on a romantic path and realize there is a dead end. Since then, they have developed a strong dislike for each other.

The End

It's just sad that it took me becoming a mod to be treated this way.

But we WILL prevail, storms eventually pass.
