Fellow Astro-travellers,Whatever sign Saturn is in our birth chart indicates how we tend to defend ourselves in our lives. For example, I have Pisces (spirituality) modifying Saturn, so I tend to use the "spiritual" defense (also known as the "poor me" syndrome..."How could you DO that to me!"). It also indicates I tend to look for a "spiritual" sense of how things are structured (Saturn) in my life. If you have questions, let me know...for the rest of you, how do you defend yourself? What's your structural "base"? Let's hear how "base" we all can be! Spiritually structured, Tim IP: Logged |

Saturn in GeminiChatty in defense...logical... emotionally distant...playful...seeing all the possibilities...adaptable. Yeah, that makes sense. IP: Logged |

Like Katipo, I have Saturn in Ariesso I would agree -- agressively (or angrily), at least that is my first response before I take a step back. I have lately realized when I am angry or frustrated, whatever response I FEEL is appropriate or warranted.....if I tone it down by about 50%.....then I don't regret it 5 minutes later. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in Sagittarius..I would say I defend myself by forcing the person to look at the big picture.. so they will leave the petty details alone! I'll pull out my philosophical and spiritual beliefs and use them to defend my position.

Thanks Tim And actually, to be more specific I wouldn't use the word 'forcefully' to describe my defense mechanism. It's more of a tactless, bumbling, hoping-they-get-my-point sort of defense. But, you know. IP: Logged |

Dulce,With Sagittarius (expansion, also wisdom) modifying Saturn, you might defend yourself with what you know. Knowingly, Tim IP: Logged |

Hey Dulce..I have Saturn in Sag as well and as I posted above, I usually defend myself with grand ideas and knowledge.. philosophies, etc. Maybe its the same for you? Mines in the 5th house though, a lot different from the 12th.. :P IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in Taurus...I suppose my defense would be "Fine, I am taking my toys and going home!" or it could be "I will stubbornly sit here like an immovable object, snort, grunt and basically paw at the floor while you waste your time trying to explain something to me that I have no desire to hear". Hmm.... I would say that I have used both tactics in my life. If I can't get away from the person or situation, I will sit there stoically until the person has finished and then I leave. Yeah Shirty (and Wilson), that was kind of what I was getting at. The grandiose ideas and such. I guess since its placed in the 12th, for me it may be spiritual knowledge and ideas. I've also noticed that I'm pretty stubborn about those type of things-no one can change my mind; only I can.IP: Logged |
