They don't value the same things as most people. They value freedom so much, they will laugh at situations that are difficult or awkward for you. You might feel they never take your side, and that they wan't to be friends with everyone to your detriment basically. I have a Gemini Sun/Scorpio Moon/Cancer Mercury so I can be pretty sensitive despite my air Sun, and I find my friend with the Aqua Moon SO MUCH MORE MEAN than the triple Aqua gal. It's like she makes snide, rude, condescending remarks to be "funny" (or not) but for some reason it just does not jive with me. I don't even think she realizes the impact of her tone or choice of words. It could just be me being sensitive...but she can certainly hit a nerve. My triple Aqua friend is an absolute doll. She is very calm, composed and proper. She can get a little sassy when she wants to but overall a very nice person. The only negative I can think of is she can be a little vindictive towards her enemies. Go figure!! IP: Logged

But they are strong headed about their ideas, and they won't hesitate to try and convince you to their mindset, even if they have to use aggressive words. I don't think it is consciously done, they are just really sure that they are right and it can makes other feels bullied to a point. My bestfriend is an aqua sun and rising, he tends to look at you as if you were the most stupid person on heart if you not only disagree with him, but also can't back up your thoughts with rock-hard arguments. He also has this habit of raising his voice when speaking his mind and he doesn't soften his words either. Since I am as stubborn as he, and have quite a thick skin when I am arguing, we ends up exchanging back and forth quite forcefully and most people thinks we're angry at each other, where we're just exchanging ideas and debating... forcefully. Sometimes I'll even start an argument for the sole sake of the "battle" that ensue, even though I know I'm totally wrong. I don't feel healthy and happy if I don't have my daily forceful argument, and he's one of the only people I know who can provide it while knowing there's no hard feelings behind. IP: Logged

Aquarius is a masculine sign, so this appears more 'natural' in the males, but with the females it can seem off-putting just because of the intensity of the dominant energy. Most people don't understand Aqua female energy, and what's funny is Aqua females don't understand themselves either. The more they are misunderstood by others, the more they lash out and exhibit their negative qualities. So I think the immature ones can become bullies. However, a mature and stable Aquarius can be one of the most put together people ever. (All of this can also just be plain old psychology too ) Also, I think people really underestimate how detached we really are...I've had other air signs baffled at how unemotional I can be. The week of the 23 through 30 of January are most like this. We are usually good until a man comes along and then they'll throw me under a buss so to speak which I usually eye roll at, thier highly competitive. They love the spotlight and I could care less for it. I get guys all the time so they can have the dude, in my mind the dude should fight for me not the other way around. They go threw alot of heartache tho and difficulty finding a guy to want them. They also like to challange and debate people so they rub people the wrong way but I have yet to meet one who couldn't make me laugh . They can appear to be rude but I think it comes from a need to cover a vonurable inside. Aquarious also rules my 5th house so this might be why I like them so much. I can say if you befriend them, thier usually a die hard friend. IP: Logged
