I notice something intersting with Satie in my chart and his. I have Satie oppose Siva exact (which connect to his Parvati) He has Satie oppose Mahalingam/Hara (which connect to my Kaali)

That was an inspired observation . These links could be referred to as complimentary. Does orb 2 mean between 2 and 3 degrees? Also, are there any other close aspects with natal planets? IP: Logged |

Yes, it exceed 2 degrees by several minutes, you think it's too wide? You mean close aspects from asteroids to natal planets in natal chart or synastry? ------------------ what goes up must come down, so when you're feeling down, the only way to be is up IP: Logged |

RESULTS I wanted to share some quantative results for the aspects provided in this thread. More to be added later and I'll amend the results accordingly. So far, for 10 people, the top 5 most common pairings listed in order of frequency are as follows: Rudra/Kaali - 8 Mahalingam/Kaali and Rudra/Tara - 6 each Raman/Sita - 5 (all of these were trines or sextiles) Many at 4 - Siva/Parvati, Shiva/Kaali, Mahalingam/Parvati, Shankar/Kaali, Shankar/Sati What is interesting is to see that Mahalingam/Kaali featured amongst the top 3. This pairing alone could be investigated - e.g., did Mahalingam form close aspects for those who had experienced a Kundlalini rise through the relationship? I am beginning to suspect it might have done. However, the sample here is too small. If it did, did it also form a pairing in your natal? Here's a glimpse of the data gathering spreadsheet: I only considered aspects with orbs unto 2 degrees (unless a DW), and gave equal weighting to the aspects I recorded- conjunctions, squares, opps, sextile, trine, quincunx and quintile - which is what the colour coding refers to. Only took synastries and composites into account as these were provided by all. I really should have spelt out the parameters more clearly at the start, with questions, to ensure that everyone provided the same data and with greater precision (hopefully everyone checked on the asteroids I had asked for). It would have been interesting to see whether any pairings were represented in natals, for example, as not all provided their natal aspects. TO CONTINUE

Which male or female form featured most in pairings amongst the SIVA/PARVATI asteroids FEMALE Kaali 26 Parvati 17 Tara 15 Sati 13 It was KAALI - unsurprisingly, as Kaali is the key asteroid that represents the Kundalini. MALE Rudra - 17 Mahalingam - 15 Siva - 13 Mahakala -12 Shankar -11 Hara - 7 The above count is entirely dependent on everyone having included these asteroids in their charts, of course. To everyone who's contributed here:

Nice diagram up there To keep it simple, here are the aspects between the Yin-Yang-pairings only. orb 2 degrees, 5th and 8th harmonic aspects within 1 degree orb
his Kaali square my Rudra
his Tara quinkunx my Mahalingam his Tara quintile my Rudra his Sati conjunct my Mahalingam exact his Sati quintile my Siva exact his Sati quintile my Mahakali exact -------------------------------------- his Siva quinkunx my Parvati exact his Siva sesissquare my Kaali exact his Rudra trine my Tara his Rudra biquintile my Kaali his Mahalingam conjunct my Sati exact DW: Rudra/Kaali Rudra / Tara Mahalinga/ Sati a lot of 5th harmonic aspects coming up again (4 out of 11 I think). This fits the theme the 5th harmonic seems to be one of the strongest between us. Oh the fun to be had!

Thank you Vajra,Could you tell me a little about your relationship. Also, if you have any Indian connection. Another thing that would be helpful to know about is whether you experienced a Kundalini activation through your relationship. Many of the people who have contributed did, and there may be associated aspects. The orbs that you've listed as 2 - are these at or less than 2 degrees, or are they between 2 and 3 degrees? How does Varuna play in? Varuna -Faced with the dilemma of how to cross the ocean to Lanka, where his abducted wife Sita is held captive by the demon king Ravana, Rama (an Avatar of Vishnu) performs a penance (tapasya) to Varuna, the Lord of Oceans, fasting and meditating in perfect dhyana for three days and three nights. Varuna does not respond, and Rama arises on the fourth morning, enraged by the God's arrogance. With his bow and arrow, he angrily begins attacking the oceans with celestial weapons—burning up the waters and killing its life and creatures.

Varuna, God of the water elements or the Oceans, is kinda like Poseidon. He's ascribed with different qualities by astrologers. Certain Varuna transits are noted during floods. Ami Anne thinks Varuna endows people with Charisma. And he doesn't have a mate - thank goodness ! Varuna CONJ DNA: Element of WATER is strong in your genes, perhaps a distant ancestor was a devotee of Neptune or any Elemental Water Deity - iQ I am attempting to collate info on all Vedic asteroids in this thread. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/003010.html - a good place for discussion or adding research.
