Thanks, DM. I will. As to the whole 'Oh, No, He Can't Be My Twin' -- you're covering my song, sweetheart. But I'll try and give you the good news that he isn't. Don't worry. I'm thorough. IP: Logged |

Firstly, Auby, let me say that the thread in question was brilliantly written. I didn't comment in it but was looking forward to reading more (along with a few others of yours). We all have a bucket in each of our hands. One is filled with gasoline. One with water. With each piece of gossip we encounter, each insult of our character, each lie told about us, each confrontation made toward us, we can choose to pour on gasoline...or pour on water. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Randall. I appreciate that. All of it. Did I mention tMERC is on my nSUN today? Guess I can cross that off the 'wonder what that transit feels like' list, as I've never been aware of it before. As to my investigation, I really needed needed to hear that. I've been feeling extremely on-edge, with my sanity hanging by a thread. I do feel it could be useful; especially if we find ourselves hurtling towards a future in which our perception reality vastly differs from what we thought. There was a time that we were assured the Earth was flat, and we occupied the centre of the universe. It's not even that long ago, historically-speaking. So, who knows? Multidimensionality may become a more 'acceptable' experience one day. But for now, it's quite mind-bending. Thank you, Randall. A lot. Now. Where did I place my zen? IP: Logged |

She totally did, and my beef is not a bit with her. It's not even really with page one. It was more alerting me to the fact I wasn't really sure of the lines; what constitutes a line which is crossed and warrants action? I didn't know the answer, and the discussion opened in a way I found very illuminating. IP: Logged |

It's not you! I do think there is a fine line. If i got upset at every who called me a drama queen, I'd never get out of bed! lol. (Just teasing). I never understand why people don't just ignore those they don't agree with if they can't have a _discussion_ about the topic. It is true that you need touch skin to post on the internet. Firstly I'd just like to second Ceridwen's words that every individual here brings their own experiences and views to the table, and we should respect and appreciate everyone's contributions. Versatility is the only way for a field to grow and evolve and Astrology is attacked enough as it is (even today in some parts of the world many members of this board might be at literal risk of death, just for having the interests and abilities that they do), creating inner conflict is really the last thing this field needs. And secondly, well, this forum is public. As such, any new information, research and, even thoughts, you put up becomes public work. And sometimes that is appreciated, and sometimes criticised. You have to take both in stride, not put too much energy in either, and keep doing what you believe in. The work is what matters. IP: Logged |

I do admire a lot your creative writing style as well as your analytical mind; you seem to have a very nice balance between the too. I am jealous! but my love and admiration for you overrides the jealous part hahaha. Nah! Kidding aside, I love that you are a kindred spirit, authentic and real to yourself and your voice... I am so glad you are part of Lindaland Aubyanne! I feel you though; I have had a rough month as well; its been crazy; perhaps it was the before and after effects of the eclipse in combo with mercury retro. IP: Logged |

None of us should EVER be attacked, demeaned, or made to feel unsupported. For crying out loud, if you can't come here to talk about reality being a little wonk, where can you? And, I dunno, DM. As I told my husband today, I am a red hot poker of inexplicable irritability. It's tempting to withdraw the words I somehow DO manage to get out while tSATURN hugs my nMOON/MERC MP. I'm feeling very tetchy, and raw, and exposed. It's not everyday, nor has it EVER been my experience, that reality is capable of THIS. I guess, deep down, I was still the hard-nosed sceptic I've been since twelve. Receiving SO much proof SO fast to where I can't deny something that WRECKS any logical, rational, paradigm I had of reality --- it's been jarring. I thought to explore it here, astrologically. I had no idea it'd be so poorly received. I'm trying to figure -- did I do something wrong? What happened? Why the vitriol and spite?
Hi Aubynanne, yo have not done something wrong, it is the nature of taking position. you are taking chances when exposing your theories. nothing wrong with that, but with openess it also comes opposition from those who feel their belief system threatened. please dont take it personally and just think on people (like me) who get inspiration from others who dare to bring their experience and knowledge or theories to this forum. it is the price of fame, i would say... Ahhh, the 'price of fame'. That's something I understand well. Thank you for your thoughts and consideration. I really do appreciate it. IP: Logged | |
