But yes, that J. Who's been off in mommy-heaven and strangerville ever since.

... we took photos together. Lin was there, too. C had already determined that we weren't going to be in the ceremony, but we were in the dressing area helping J get ready. You wore ... something black and white, I recall. A white blouse with a black vest of some kind. Your hair was up. Mine was just long and flowing and crazy. As usual.

And, seriously. The concealer. I totally looked like a vampire.

I wasn't there for much of the reception, either. I stayed for the cake ... 'dispersal'. I don't think I actually had any, though. I might have.

I arrived (and left) with The Monster, so. He probably had to get to work. Actually, I might've needed to get to work, too.

I even helped J choose the place. Which, as much as she loved it, I later regretted because it was SO out there!

I think, at the end of the day, she and C's and mine and P's anniversary is either the same day, or one day off. Of course, our 'anniversary' is 31 December, but ... y'know ...

Vague memories of how dictator-like C was about the whole thing coming back to me now. I mostly remember J being stressed out over her dress. And the mad dash rush to get it over with. I remember feeling bad for her, too. But I mostly just remember J's mom asking when I would be moving back (which was the nail in the coffin, since I badly wanted away from GA and back home anyway).

Though I do know they chose that day specifically because it was halfway between each of their parents' anniversaries.

Hers felt like it was trying oh-so-hard to be fairy-tail, but really failing. It didn't have the same "beautiful disaster" vibe that yours did (things tumbling into place) - it felt stuffy and like "let's just get this over with". Like I said, if my turn ever rolls around, I'll see what I can do to make it comfortable and fun and memorable. And if I fail, I'll just hafta throw an old-school slumber party, and kick the hubby out for the night.

... Have you checked the transits/progressions/arcs for her wedding? I have a feeling there might be astro-markers there explaining things.

If my Neptune is in sagittarius and saturn is transiting sagittarius does that impact anything?
