I think what I did was use the whole sign system and this does away with things such as "interceptions" or duplicated house cusps. So if you have Cancer Ascending-no matter the degree, the 7th house is automatically Cap, the 8th Aqua, the 9th Pisc etc. But if you using Placidus,Koch or Equal house system, the houses will differ. The point here is, to which do you relate and you feel accurately describes the whole chart consistenly? For instance , if your girlfriend has Venus and Mars in 9th, she should be more interested in studying, travelin, doing these things for fun or wanting to incorporate them in her ideal career path. Because that area is where her passion (Venus) and drive(Mars) are. The 9th house issues should be quite clear in her approach to life since Venus(ruler of the 1st) is there. So she should be someone who travels, teaches(even when not in the classroom setting) and is more interested in world views and ideals etc. Now the litmus test is,does she travel? Is she interested in higher education? Does she sort of "lecture" you sometimes or speak about her beliefs a lot? Is she interested in learning foreign languages or different cultures? Does she have strong religious/political beliefs and affiliations? etc. The positions should fit and you should test that they do as the 9th house always seeks to expand, learn more, broaden their gaze and attraction to travel is very high on the list of priorities when both Venus and Mars are there. A tenth house Venus is into things that are grounded on the career path. And a lot less concerned with the path of mankind than their own self-actualization. More especially when we see that Venus is the 1st house ruler. The 1st house ruler in the 10th house can endow some "Cap" qualities i.e the self(1st) wants to be known for something or wanting to be elevated to some very public(10th) level etc. With Mars (drive) also there, this should be the focus and aim too. Idk if other people have mentioned this (I haven't read the whole thread). But in case no one has, I'd like to say that it's your saturn return. It's a trying period of time. Things get tested, and things that don't get past saturn just end. I'm sorry for your loss.I'm not sure, but I think I see a mutable grand cross in your synastry. The recent mutable transits might have contributed to making it even more straining. IP: Logged |

AscTaurus, Thanks again for your response here and the details."The 9th house issues should be quite clear in her approach to life since Venus(ruler of the 1st) is there. Does she have strong religious/political beliefs and affiliations?" ------------------------------------------------Based on your descriptions, I'd say she falls into the 9th house category more than the 10th but I notice right now she has been going through some 10th house transits. She does not lecture at all, but is more into variety, doing fun things, traveling, seeing many different people, she likes novelty, activities, thinking from different perspectives, open minded, etc. She likes to have a trip planned or in mind for the future. I would say travel is very important to her, as it is to me also but since I was trying to find work to where I moved for her we were not able to travel as much in the time of living together. I've also had a health issue since 2011 which has changed certain aspects of my life. Bu over time and through acceptance, this does not prevent me from doing things like going places or anything. We also met on a Summer study abroad trip 7 years ago and that's when we started seeing each other so this could point to her Venus/Mars in 9. I felt like she kind of pursued me too. Thanks again for your response.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I am aware of the Saturn return and have gone through many changes 29-30 has been a difficult time definitely, but also necessary? I'm guessing. How long does Saturn return last, does it go until age 31? How would mutable transits make things more straining?

The one positive I can identify about the Saturn return for people struggling with this time period is that it forces you to make necessary changes in your life and you will most likely come out a little stronger for it.IP: Logged |

If anyone has any opinions based on the composite chart posted earlier in my thread if this relationship is definitely over or not, I would appreciate it.Also, would the True Node in our composite chart at 29 degrees Pisces point to a permanent ending? I've read this degree signifies a permanent ending. Thanks so much. IP: Logged |

I don't know why but I keep feeling like a bad person after this breakup and there's no rational reason behind this. It's just this terrible feeling of devastation.I hope that this passes but seems like no matter what I do the past several weeks, I still am left with this same thought that I'm to blame at the end of the day. Don't know why. IP: Logged |

Todd, just wondering if you would consider weighing in on the composite (or synastry) and if this relationship is definitely over. Thank you for the consideration. Really appreciate it. IP: Logged | |
