One interpretation I read was how Cancer in 4th house often will be more focused on creating a nurturing environment from which to fall back on as they age.

Perhaps I will be drawn to Cancers as time passes- since Moon conjuncts the 4th from the 3rd? The only cancer Moon I was heavily drawn to was a friend of mine back in high school.

He had Moon in Cancer with Venus/Mars conjunct in Aqua and Sag Sun. Again i think it was the similar approach in life that we both had.

I do feel very easy living with Sag placements though. We don't fuss too much about being neat freaks. We do what we can if and when we can lol

Ummmmmmm you can have moon in the 4th and let's say also moon in the 8th with Venus aspect Mars double whammy and Eros aspect Psyche and there will be a strong sexual attraction between the two of you lol. In this scenario the sex is great and then you enjoy like crazy cuddling so you get the whole package.

Moon in the 4th is just one placement. You have to look at the rest of the synastry and composite and all the ingredients that are coming together.

I have Venus conjunct Mars and with every person I have been with that has moon in aries we had Venus aspect Mars double whammy. There was undeniably a strong sexual attraction and they don't remind of me of my siblings at all or my parents for that matter. Capricorns remind me of my parents bc my parents are capricorns.

Also if you study psychology is common knowledge that we feel attracted to people that remind us of our father or mother to an extent, this is human nature bc they are our first love relationship and they represent the first love story we witnessed, we associate them with love subconsciously and bc of that and that sense of familiarity we end up with partners that remind us of them without realizing it for better or for worse, it happens subconsciously and totally makes sense why it happens. There is more to it but that is some of the psychology behind it. I don't know why this is bothering so many people. This is human nature and has been studied extensively.

Venus in the 4th would be similar to venus conjunct moon.

Moon in the 4th would be similar to moon conjunct moon.

Yes I read that too, that the sign in your IC you grow into it more as you get older.

I started to attract moon in aries at age 27, that was the first time it happened and I was away from home and my family. I wonder if bc they feel like coming home I am attracted to them since I moved away from home when I first started to feel attracted to them. However my ex and I had moon conjunct moon so I feel I have always been attracted to this type of placement early on, I was 18 almost 19 when I met my ex.

But like I mentioned in the last post I had venus aspect mars double whammy with all of them. For example, that first guy his Venus conjuncted my neptune and trined my Mars, my venus trined his mars, we also had venus trine venus and mars trine mars LOL, the sex was awesome, there was a strong sexual attraction, he masturbated towards me many years later after our fling ended, we would occasionally talk and flirt and he would confess this to me. We did NOT remind each other of family.

Bingo, you read my mind, bc you live with your current guy so I would think that your 4th house ruler will be activated if you don't have moon in the 4th house.

Mars rules my 4th and is ALWAYS activated in my love relationships.

I was like when I get home I am going to ask her about the ruler of her IC and how that plays out in synastry and I will ask her if there are other planets other than the moon that fall on her 4th house or his 4th house synastry wise.

Well there you go maybe that is why moon in the 4th is not a placement you attract. Perhaps this energy is not something you want to its full capacity at least.

But still since the 4th is also about feeling comfortable enough to be able to be yourselves around one another, intimacy, and getting attached, it makes sense your mercury is highly activated since it rules your 4th. You feel is highly activated bc mercury rules your DC too but I think it ruling your 4th is more of a reason than you realize.

Like for you to even desire been in a committed relationship such as marriage, the comfort, attachment and intimacy have to be there first.

This here is worth a thought. Because when we are far from home, we do tend to look out for people whom are familiar and feel like home.

This should make me(Moon in Cancer) even more attracted to Cancer. But its not the case.

I tend to attract the loners in new places lol i.e Aqua Sun,Aqua/Cap Sun cusp people or those with Moon in Aqua or Moon/Uranus strong aspects to me.

We tend to bond relatively quickly because we talk about social issues.

I also tend to draw Taurus Sun signs easily.

I think my progress Sun in Aqua 4d degrees could play a role in this. My progressed Asc is in 20 Taurus....so that is no coincidence

My progressed Ic is Leo. No Leos so far.

He has a ton of scorpio but you totally see his mars in leo, he expresses himself clearly by how he dresses, does his hair, he has some piercings in his mouth I find hot. His Mars in Leo inconjuncts Uranus exact and conjuncts my venus exact and that completes a yod with my moon. I think that is it! that combo of mars in leo aspect uranus REALLY SHOWS in his looks/style, he expresses himself big time this way and Mars in Leo is his ONLY planet in fire. He is water dominant except for uranus and neptune in capricorn and his mars in Leo. What I like is his mars in Leo inconjunct Uranus! and then it completes a YOD with my MOON which falls on his 4th hahahah, moon in the 4th again, not to mention his mars conjuncts my mars (4th house ruler). I am super attracted to his mars in leo, it fascinates me.

Nothing much there.

The progressed 4th ruler is the Sun. OK. Maybe that's it. Since Sun is Sag natally and Aqua by progression.

I wanted to ask you of Mars in Leo. Its my Drac Mars,Dsc,Saturn,Pluto placement. And I find Leo energy not easy to understand.

Would you say that Mars in Leo could denote a sensitive ego? One who will roarr very loudly when they feel their ego challenged ?

I am mostly referring to when someone tactlessly says "No you are wrong. Its not how it goes" or "Don't be stupid. That's not it..." etc.

Its like their dignity is being infringed upon by that individual and they respond by pushing back?

You are worried you will not fall in love again, well maybe you avoiding people that activate your moon is a safety and control thing, you don't like to feel vulnerable but falling in love is about feeling vulnerable, you got to let yourself go there and let people in your life that facilitate going there such as people that aspect your moon.

This is so good. Mars squares Moon so yes, I am ultra sensitive to hurt. Always wearing a shield. Its taking a while to undo that but it is coming along.

I wanted to mention that I worked briefly for a motor company in 2012/2013.

Whilst I was there my colleague noticed that a certain tall blonde guy would look towards my direction and then look away when I turned around. My colleague found this odd. It happened for quite a while and I didn't notice but she did.

He never ever spoke to me. But would often just stare from a distance. Not say much and pretend indifference. I ignored him

At the end of year function, he got drunk and would look at me walking up/down and the energy got really eery between us. Luckily I changed departments.

I found his birthday out when I visited my former colleague. They were eating cake and so I was curious and so I looked his chart up.

I thought I would see lots of Pisces. But I nearly fell off my chair when I found that his Sun/Moon is in Cancer. And get this...they were both conjunct my Moon and reacting with my Ic. Wowza!

hahahahahhaha Cancers! they can be like that. I had a crush on a guy with sun and moon in cancer and it was something like that too, he wasn't going to act on the attraction even though I gave him a few opportunities to make a move.

You would think he would feel comfortable talking to you!!!!!! since it landed on your 4th but no his instinct to protect himself and be cautious was stronger... I think is that combo of having both sun and moon in cancer.

My mars (4H ruler) conjuncts Venus (5H ruler) so that is probably why I attract this placement a lot in lovers (moon in the 4th in synastry). I like to nourish my lovers and love them.

I have my moon exactly conjunct my male friends IC, the one who was my crush but I will try to forget him now (yeah writing about him at forums is not helpful!)

If I follow placius my Gemini moon is smack on his IC. I have always felt so secure with him, and there is a familarity with him that I can not put a finger on what it is, its just a feeling. Also we have node and vertex contacts aswell.

But for a year I thought he was a cancer asc, there is a warm feeling I get from him that feels like cancer asc or moon.

He found his birth certificate last month and it shows he has his moon in his 1th house. And our composite Sun is in cancer, so there is that aswell.

Anyways I have always felt so safe with him, he is strong and muscular but his energy is so down to earth and warm and safe. I opened up very fast to him since he makes me feel so safe, so taken care of. And ok this maybe bc he has Libra venus, but for ex, he will always hold up doors for me.

Pick up something I have dropped like a pen etc. AND he would carry my bag when we were out in a forest for field trips for our project. Virgo asc me just looove a polite gentle man like that haha! Dunno if its was just his Libra venus, or if my moon in his IC made him wanna take care of me aswell? Who knows..

And since the seats are so close, we would sit with our arms touching and lately he would let his knee rest against mine for the entire ride (30 min), and that kind of closeness, dunno its not sexual, it just felt so cozy and warm, like a hug. Maybe its the moon IC thing?

We would talk during our bus rides or we could even just sit silently and it would not feel awkward at all! It just felt so good, to be able to sit close and not talk , rest with each other, just be.

He would at first resist it to not be rude, but he sometimes fell asleep like a baby, twitching in his sleep and all haha. Appearently its very easy for him to fall asleep in a bus when he rests his head on the seat.

And a few months ago (oh man I was not suppose to rumble again! :/) . I got a thought, that turned into a plan, that turned into an URGE, (typical scorpio/pluto energy).
thought about how nice it would feel if he let me rest my head against his shoulder during our bus rides. Just a thought, that turned into an urge, I just had to follow through it!

So I asked once months ago and he said ok. And I rested against his shoulder wth closed eyes. It felt like a warm hug but much better! Cozy and safe, and he is so muscular so it was very comfy. Like a warm cocoa a cold day haha I'm so cheezy!

After that I did not ask for it for a long while, but it seemed to me like he wanted me to, dunno its a long story. However during May I'm like "oh fudge it, I'm gonna be direct!", and I just asked him if I could rest and of course he said yes, so around 5-6 occasions I did rest like that and yap, amazing safe and warm feeling every time. Once he fell asleep aswell, with my head on his shoulder haha.
