It's the Scorpio way, test test test...

Do you mind posting your charts? Synastry and composite?

it's a confusing rollercoaster, but i try to not take things personally when she gets like that

though the constant tests and questions like "do you?" when i tell her i love her even though its been years can be extremely exhausting

https://imgur.com/a/82RyJZZ

synastry is here, it changes a bit in placidus (my sun moves to her 7th, venus onto her 8th for example) if you prefer sidereal that shifts things a bit too but not much

if you have preferences with that let me know

composite feels more personal in a sense so less comfortable with that, but as far as the synastry goes...

as for the sticking by her thing, i've never felt like there was another option

we can't actually seem to stay away from each other at all, sexually or just in general that's why it's so back and forth

" this sounds to me more like the "millennial disease" where game-playing and non-committal attitudes are the norm rather than anything astrologically based."

Exactly what I was thinking.

People keep comparing charts of couples that have been together for decades thinking that if they find a simular synastry with someone today they'll get the same result... But decades ago they didn't have online dating and dating apps or smart phones or viagra or online porn.... all of which have made men today much MUCH less likely to commit than they did back then. And having a fantastic synastry simply doesn't get you as far today as it did even just 10 years ago.

What I do see WAY more often is Scorpio/Taurus MOON couples...and more often that not in long-term relationships. Myself included so perhaps I'm biased...but my sister-in-law/brother-in-law are the same combo, and another couple I know who are high school sweethearts (both couples over a decade together). Maybe the fixed Moon energy is more comforting?

YES! Moon in Taurus is exalted after all and I could see how it could be very grounding for a moon in Scorpio. I have moon in Taurus in Davison with my partner and he has a very grounding effect on me which my moon in pisces ruling the 8th benefits from. Add his moon in cancer falls in the 2nd house so it compliments my moon in pisces ruling the 8th.

My sis is a cancer and her husband is a taurus, her moon in scorpio opposes his sun. I just don't see that sun in taurus in combo with sun in scorpio as a frequent combo. I see more sun in scorpio with pisces, cancer, virgo and capricorn as those signs trine and sextile their sun by sign at least.

Yes this makes sense, is just when people mention a sign unless they specify I assume they are talking sun signs and as a virgo with merc in virgo those distinctions are crucial to me and I like for people to elaborate as you so well did right now .

i'm legit laughing seeing you mention that

because ive noticed i can always pick out a virgo mercury since love sorting out every possible distinction... no matter how painful it is to everyone around tuem to do it

i get a very specific kind of headache during serious discussions with most of them

it's pretty funny, but every time ive felt the need to interrupt a conversation with "is your mercury in virgo" ive been right

Humor is a great coping skill and great for relationships, it definitely helps you repair A LOT quicker to not take stuff too seriously and be more in the moment.

Did you do this chart with "whole house" or something? It kinda throws me off so if you could do a chart just regular that would be easier lol...

Right off the bat I spot that close Venus-Pluto connection...holy moly how many times I've seen this combo pop up in charts of "ride or die" couples that despite all odds survive. I would consider this a soulmate marker for sure, or at least that soulmate feeling where like you describe...there just is no other way!

Is that so? I don't think I annoy people though, I don't over do it. My moon is in pisces and my sun and moon square neptune so I am pretty chill.

yeah it can help, and honestly she's not as bad as the capricorn i dated (sag in sidereal, not sure of her other placements taurus moon or something i think)

that was probably the worst

i got yelled at once for being "too calm" when the cap tried to fight with herself at points and if i didnt answer a text or something because i was busy id come back to 60+ messages of her fighting with "me"

my fiancee is actually the easiest woman ive ever dealt with, because i know that whether we're fighting or not right then when things do blow over we'll both still want to be there for better or worse... til she inevitably kills me in my sleep or something lol

i use whole sign yeah, which is why i asked if you prefer placidus i'll switch it for you

better?

her and i practice the occult together, we've literally sealed promises of forever in blood and so on to be perfectly honest

i actually turned her down when she first told me she had feelings for me when we were kids because i was scared of basically signing my forever away and i felt like with her that would be the case

it's my own lack of desire to focus on details to an extent and my own tendency to speak in figurative and general terms

to their credit ive never seen a virgo mercury get impatient at all sorting through all my generalizations it's me who gets impatient

mostly because i get bored quickly and details make it happen that much quicker

ETA I know you probably don't have her birth time but maybe her Taurus stellium is in her 8th? Or at least one of her major planets...that would give the Scorpionic affinity? For example, my dad's Taurus Moon is square Pluto and my mom's Aries Sun is in her 8th...

Forgot to mention. Her Scorpio Venus is conjunct his Sun. His Venus in Sag is conjunct her Sun.

Its possible what you say could also factor in the bonding. Because I never suspected she is Sag-because she is the type to listen to problems or asking people if all is well etc.

They have 4 kids that are all grown up but refuse to leave home. So I guess they have a cozy home.

Well sag is my chart ruler and strongest sign in my chart (SN in Sag, AC in Sag, Neptune at Galactic Center in Sag forming a tsquare with Sun opposite Moon in pisces with Neptune at the apex of tsquare on my AC, chart ruler Jupiter in Sag conjunct exact Uranus in the 12th so I am very neptunian by nature and have a very strong sag influence), I don't get hanged up on details but sometimes they are important in making key distinctions .

Better! Ok I'm being picky but can you do regular Tropical instead of Sidereal as well???

Yup sounds about right. Well...not the occult/blood thing but my girlfriend just got married a few months to a guy she knew/hung out with in high school but had a "thing" for, they went their separate ways and dated other people and then YEARS later hung out again and realized that was it and the rest is history!

makes sense why you're more laid back than most virgo mercuries then and why you havent given me that migraine...

i generally really love sag dominant people (tropical anyway) because they tend to be a lot of fun

MUCH better! This is a more accurate read, I think. I suppose I should have asked who is blue/red and if the TOBs are accurate?

hahahaha Yes I love joking around in a Sag meets Leo style usually as my AC trines venus in Leo, you seem pretty chill yourself like you have a good sense of humor. Do you have libra placements? or what would you attribute your sense of humor to?
