I've noticed that I'm incredibly attracted to people whose Mars conjuncts my Venus, but not whose Venus conjuncts my Mars. Possibly because my Mars is opposition Saturn and Uranus, so their Venus would be activating my struggle between those planets. My Venus is better aspected (conjunct Jupiter, sextile Mars, trine Saturn) so it's more comfortable with someone's planets touching it.

This is such a "classic" attraction aspect, but I think its effects depend on a person's natal. Share your experiences!

I prefer my Venus opposite his Mars.

When they have Mars conjunct my Venus (but opposite my Pluto) things are a lot feistier and difficult to deal with.
I talked about my first love in the first thread I linked above (I was Vapor-Lash).. This was very dysfunctional in the end.

My boss has his Sun/Mars conjunction on my Venus.. and all I feel like doing is punching him.

It was such a high when being physical.

Almost felt like my body temp rose 20-30 degrees from us just talking romantically with one another while we got physically close... it was so intense and magical that it's been hard finding anyone that can reach that kind of level.

These are the kind of things I use to read about or watch when I was young thinking how silly it was sometimes for people to be that immersed and in love with one another that it made you physically feel.

But it also had its downfall too...

I do think that because of the triple conjunction, it made for some of the other aspects in each others charts go either zooming to the clouds or straight like a bat to hell.

Synastry isn't really my thing, but I guess I can see how it sort of plays out in my life.

We've been together almost two years now and the sex is still really great. I don't know if that is normal or not? This is my longest relationship so far. We are so insanely in love, that's about the best way to put it.

But there is always more going on than just the aspect alone.

Her Mars rules her Sun and 8th House, and co-rules her Moon, and is in Leo very closely conjunct my Asc degree AND opposed my Aqua Venus.

Her Venus conjunct Saturn (ruler of her 5th) in her 7th, is opposed my Mars conjunct Jupiter (ruler of my 5th and co-ruler of 8th), and her Venus-Saturn is in my 8th House.

I felt like a giant human magnet around her, and I have considerable will power and discipline (Cap Sun, Leo Rising, with Cap Sun square Libra Pluto, Aqua Venus (ruler of Moon) trine Pluto within seconds). It was almost overwhelming the attraction I had to her. Haven't experienced anything like it before or since. All I could think of was the desire to fully and completely merge with her on every level, as she was some missing part of me, and I some missing part of her. (Her Sun is the opposite sign of my Moon sign as well.)

I'm normally kind of reserved, slow moving, and sort of shy'ish when it comes to romance--I'll flirt some, but when it comes to making a move, I tend to be a little hesitant. Basically more passive than active. With her, it was different. My Leo side came right out and strongly, and I was touchy feely and very initiating.

She was also initiating and take charge with me as well in some ways. I just asked her one time if she liked karaoke, and next thing I know, she was setting up a specific meetup for us (she's an Aries Sun, and as mentioned, with her Mars pretty much in the middle of Leo i.e. pure Leo, no cusping).

Venus-Mars is more romantic and/or sexual in nature than Venus-Sun. Venus-Sun is more good/positive vibes and seeing beauty and "perfection" in each other. It's a "higher vibration" type connection, and more all around attraction/getting along.

Both imo, are quite nice, but if you're looking for straight up sexual chemistry, unless you're not very in touch with your Mars nature (as some women aren't, and a very occasional male isn't), the Venus-Mars is more what one is looking for.

Also Moon-Mars, and sometimes in a more primal and raw sense than Venus-Mars. Venus adds an element of 4th-heart center into the mix, of wanting to give and seeing the deeper beauty in the other.

Well Moon is like a lower, more physically focused octave of Venus. Mars is 1st center, and Moon is 2nd center. Both centers deal with sexual energy, though in different ways and flavors. So when you combine them both, there is often a lot of sexual energy in a more base, lust-rutting sense.

This is like the sexual attraction of a male smelling a female in heat, and a female in heat smelling a virile, healthy, genetically strong mate in turn. The animal body level of both of you take over, and before you know it, tab A feels like it needs to be inserted into tab B.

Oppositions often being even more powerful in indication as to the urgency and attraction as compared to conjunctions. Because oppositions are like two opposite magnetic polarities coming into proximity of each other.

I have a friend who has Pisces Moon in my 8th House closely opposed the Mars of my Mars Jupiter conjunction in Virgo. My Sun is also in her 8th House. Anytime we are together, there is a small part of me that wants to rip off her clothes and just take her. That's not normal or typical feeling or response for me. It's just pure, raw, LUST. I have to consciously redirect my focus around her. (I think her Venus is also square my Mars which certainly doesn't help either).

It's different than what I described earlier with the other person. It's mostly all 1st and 2nd center. The other person I described earlier, the reaction and feeling is like ALL centers/levels desire to merge, like center 1 through 7, and that's why it's so powerful and overwhelming for me. It's very psychic, spiritual, mental, and emotional, at the same time as being also raw sexual/lust.

I'm guessing in the latter person's case (the Moon-Mars opposition connection) what it really comes from, is partially from the particular combo of the genetics of our bodies, plus she's more attractive than average, plus I think our other Soul selves probably had a lifetime or two of some romping in the hay. Some of the other Soul selves that are part of my larger Spirit self, were straight up male sluhts.

I really liked venus square mars - had the DW with my first BF -we were both virgins and had no expectations so we were both really open....wanted to rip his clothes off

Ex husband I had a trine and semi square and although nice was a bit meh...didnt really want to rip his clothes off, a bit mechanical.

Last relationship I had the opp & trine - this was nice, always sexy but idk....I didn't want to rip his clothes but he wanted to rip my off lol
