I understand why you're struggling about your decision... this still looks like you're still dealing with your own "healing" process from the past, so you may be looking for a balance between what you really want from a relationship and the fear to be hurted again, and in keeping control of your emotions/impulsive reactions... but let me tell you that if you took that decision even impulsively maybe it's cause you dont want to watch the same movie again and again, which you're entitled to not wanting to see it or being scared by it, so please don't be too harsh to yourself...

To me, compromise would mean that both give in something in order to stay together, not just one of them, but didnt expect that he's planning to move away soon, this makes things much more complicated... and since you have met him not so long ago, it could be too early for him to change his plans in order to commit with you, so maybe this is the reason he doesnt feel to tell you this is going to be serious, cause he had other plans, but this doesnt mean he hasn't got feelings either or that, if his feelings grow, he might not change the plans...

Uranus/Saturn quincunx to Jupiter might point either to this possibility of separation and he moving away, or it might point to the possibility of a compromise, i.e., he giving in moving away... Jupiter is in 9th house, trine to Venus, and Mars is sextile to the Venus/Neptune midpoint, and transiting Neptune is conjunct DSC... with these aspects, all having to do with travel or letting go, and with Jupiter quincunx Uranus/Saturn and tr. south node heading to mercury there's the possibility for separation... alternatively though he could give up his plans, or you could even move away with him. But I have the feeling that nothing is decided yet until transiting south node will be conjunct to IC/Sun and square the composite Nodes. Honestly it is hard for me to understand which one of these possibilities will unfold though.
