Hi all!

I was looking at the synastry I have with someone and I realized that our planet-house overlays mirror our own?

The planets in my own houses fall into the same houses in his chart and some of his planets fall into the same houses he has them in his own chart, in my chart

For example my own sun is in my 8th house and also falls in his 8th house

And his Venus is in his own 7th house and falls in my 7th house

So what does this mean when your planets fall into the same house it is in your own chart, in someone else's chart?

You probs have the same rising sign and in similar degrees hence the similar placements. I'd say you're very similar. Probs a lot of conjunctions in the chart would be cool to look at the aspects and how you relate to one another. And ooo, the composite could be fun to look at too.

Hi!

Interestingly enough I have Taurus rising 3 degrees and he is an Aries rising 15 degrees.

We have mostly sextiles in our synastry as far as I’ve seen (I have mostly sextiles in my own birth chart) and mostly squares in our composite (he has mostly squares in his own birth chart)

Don’t know if that is important but it’s what I’ve noticed so far

First looking at this 8th and 7th house looks amazing with placements itself. Venus in 8th must be so lovely. I'm not sure if this is a romantic relationship but venus conjunct pluto is yummy. Also not to worry you but I don't like mars square uranus, relationship could end in a volatile way which the Scorpio placements also indicate. Juno conjunct Neptune - false illusions of commitment, seen two broken off engagements with this aspect. Also those Neptune squares don't look great (speaking from experience). Also these are just things I first noticed, not saying that this could not work. If this is a friendship, it would also be an intense one.

It is a perceived romantic relationship. I've actually been really struggling to come to terms with. On one hand I feel like I want this to be my one and only and on the other I'm still apprehensive because of the squares and planets involved. We are both the types to be completely invested in a relationship, very intense and passionate but at the same time we're both unpredictable and independent, I just don't want that to also be the downfall.

Oh love I understand you completely. I would definitely say get someone much more advanced (muchhh more) than me. This relationship definitely looks like it will affect you both greatly. I would definitely deliberate on it and make sure you are both really honest. Heavy Neptune placements are hella deceiving especially things to do with the 10th house i.e. career, career, public image, reputation etc. With Neptune in there, I feel like there will be a struggle towards working on your common goals as a couple. Also, see how your natal planets are in the composite chart e.g. if your sun is conjunct ascendant, you'll probably control the destiny of the relationship.

Well there isn't a conjunction. My sun trines the composite ascendant and his sun sextiles it. Not as powerful though :/

Oh no I didn’t mean that at all! Sorry, I know that wasn’t your intention. I just meant it is a lot even coming from an objective standpoint without taking how I feel about him and the relationship itself into consideration (which when I do add my feelings to the equation makes it even more complicated lol) I’m the type to intellectualize my feelings instead of actually feeling them for fear of being enveloped and consumed by them which is why this situation is so difficult and mind boggling for me. I actually like how you were straightforward and honest I really value honesty even if it hurts

Hmm I’m sensing an Air Moon specifically Aqua Moon (or Scorpio Moon). And I’m glad! I was like “oh no I don’t want to upset her”. I always appreciate honesty too, I hate others sugar coating things like tell me the facts so I can move on lol.

Saturn aspects to ASC/MOON is going to be binding. Seems like a relationship what involves emotional growth and responsability for each others feelings.
With the Neptune/Juno in the 10th house could be an aspect that is found in a relationship where they both are artistic and work in artistic fields. Jupiter trine Mars/Mercury/Sun could support that being in Pisces, but there could also be some spiritual related relationship. And being in the 12th house, any burst you have would be beneficial to both of you.

The Chiron conjunction to the Sun would mean that you both want to know each other well and you are vulnerable, which could also lead to some healing.

The problems would be with the Uranus/Neptune hard aspects - square - to personal planets, which are heavy and leads to instability and deception.

Jupiter conjunct the south node mean you both feel kinda lucky I think to know each other, or could mean that you were beneficial to each other or helped each other in past lives. but that's a separating aspect as you will move to the north node of the relationship. Also with the square to Venus, you ** will ** EDITED be kinda indulged in your activities, maybe lack of responsibilities.
With the Pisces/Virgo nodal axis in 11th/5th house, is beneficial for developing a romantic relationship, moving from friends to lovers, and also supports the other aspects and placements for creativity and artistic related fields of 10th house with Neptune.
The Pluto square the nodes is skipped step - maybe you were possessive of each other?
Are you artists or talk a lot of arts?

Ooo you're probs in my 9th or 10th Sun but I have a feeling you're a first decan Solar Sag. And really? That's interesting for you then and especially with my uranus and moon (loosely Neptune too) conjunct my Asc, that Aqua energy is potent!

Also, you have personal planets in the 7th house and this is a good sign for relationship, but two of them are Mars and Chiron, which is not good. He will be kinda aggressive in the relationship, as it will develop and that energy is with Chiron (conjunction) which I think he (or both of you) will do this out of your wounds.
Venus in the 8th house is a nice placement because you will be both open and intimate to each other.
Saturn is trine to Venus so this is going to be a relationship to develop over time, slow and nicely.

You should have included the other asteroids on the astro.com - orcus and the others.

Todd and Stoika are better than me at this. Maybe they have a different opinion.

@mee_chryssa Wow, that's actually really accurate he's in the arts (dancing, singing, performance) and I am into dancing ( choreographer). We can both be possessive.

The thing about me is I always thought I wanted security and stability ( capricorn venus) but at the same time I look at my chart and I have so much aquarius energy, independent, detached and I used to say I wanted to be friends first with the person I will marry. I feel as though the uranus and saturn energy I carry leads me to contradiction. And then I have a scorpio descendant so that throws in an intense spin!
