I asked for practice a yes or no q that is not that important for me (too afraid to ask about something really important like my next assignment): if i hear from someone (just an ex who recently contacted me on friendly terms, he is taken and happy):
WRONG CHART! EDIT

1. asc is late -> not valid?
2. ruler of asc mercury sextile ruler of desc neptune -> yes?
3. moon conjunct saturn in the 3rd -> no?
4. mars (him) sextile mercury -> hmmm?
5. venus (me) trine jupiter and sextile moon/saturn -> hmmm...yes?

I would go for a yes

well, yes i am burying him....you know you read for me a few weeks ago and i told you that i had met again that ex-lover and teased him and it was fun and i also apologized to him and said "farewell"- for the rest of our lives. It was pretty clear for me that we are done while on being on good terms (i hate ending affairs and relationships on bad term) but he texted me again for Christmas and i had the feeling it was not the last time i gonna hear from him - despite saying goodbye forever to him....

When you want to learn somethingh you better do it from a solid foundation, not quicksand. It is bad practise to use horary as a test of its merit of fun or any other reason that undermines it

Here is why:

Late ASC - either you already know the answer (you asked too late) or it`s simply that the energy or something will shift in a short time, and that would change matters. (I read an exception is if the late ASC-degree is on the same degree as some important planet or angle in the individual`s charts)

In horary the traditional rulerships are being used, so Neptune would not be considered as ruler of DESC, but Jupiter.

But even if we consider Neptune as ruler of the quesited, here despite looking like it, there is actually not an applying aspect, but due to Mercury`s retrogradation Mercury is pulling back.

There might be a change of mind, maybe a lot of thinking but eventually deciding against contact, since Mercury rules the querent, you, it might be you who will reconsider and NOT contact.

Moon is void of course, too, so it basically translates into: "nothing will happen in this matter" (at least not for now).

Actually all of that fits together with the late ASC.

It`s like you`ve been thinking about contact, maybe even both of you, but that you will decide against it, at least for now, anything else can only be said AFTER the shift of energy that is going to happen, as indicated in the late ASC (and actually in the VOC Moon as well).

Of course I can be completely wrong.

Of course there is the school of thought that Venus is always representing the querent/ quesited if she is being female.

Venus is also ruling HIS 3rd house, so hey, maybe there WILL be a contact after all.

The moon is conjunct mercury in capricorn in the 4th. Very strange....
