Thanks YIVY for making me feel welcome (this is where I would put up a smilie face if I knew how to get the little Bugger on the page. I also have very limited computer skills). Glad to know it's OK to ask questions because I have more questions than answers.Tess IP: Logged |

Tess, the smilies don't actually appear until you submit the reply. Then they appear via Randall elf magic! You'll get the hang of it. I am disappointed that Purple Leprechaun hasn't posted what he 'stands for'. Figured he'd have a really funny answer....and then you'd understand why I found that so humorous. I still think the leprechaun icon is a good idea....*sigh*. IP: Logged |

Dear Randall ~ That's very nice what you wrote. I really like the words you used to say it. Nice. I like how you say it's not necessarily $$$ that we can give; we can donate/give away many of our possesions. Also we can donate time of ourselves to a good organization. I *totally agree* about the commercialism of the Christmas Season! Ugh! It makes me so I absolutely *can't stand* Christmas shopping! Augh! It is so fake, and I can't stand lines or crowds. Luckily I don't have much to do this year - but I love doing cards and candy for everyone. And doggie goodie bags of course. (for all the dogs I know) That's the fun part. IP: Logged |

Gemini5er, thanks for posting Dave Ramsey's advice. It's a very sound financial plan (I'm an accountant ). I wish everyone could cut up their credit cards (I did ages ago) and live without them!------------------ www.paxhumana.org/babble.htm IP: Logged |

Great post. I practice the money mystique, and it works. The trick is to relax and stop worrying where your money is going to come from. Just know that you will be taken care of, and you will. This time last year, I had hardly any income, so I spent nothing...but I realized that I needed to change. I started leaving dollars in library books, leaving pennies on sidewalks for kids to find, and buying things from retailers who give back to the community and to charities. I started spending money to take care of myself, not in an effort to make more money. Anyway, I have a full-time job now, and I am also a writer. I receive money, checks, and blessings on a regular basis. I am not attributing my successes to the money mistique 100%, because it did take some work on my part. But I believe what goes around comes around, and the money mistique might have helped ------------------ http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6562/pchan_stockton.html IP: Logged |

Hi Sarah, I had a hunch you would be responding here to the Money Mystique article by Randall There is a very powerful way for you to experience the money mystique on a new level. You asked for contributions by others for one of the works to be published. Some day, do a project where you contribute 50% of the material and the rest are guest articles. Divide the royalties of the first print completely to the guests, irrespective of the success rate. Let no one know from you what you have done. The next project will take off exponentially. My experience was more intense. I gave away 1500$ to people who needed it and came home empty handed from USA. I gave it out of frustration and bitterness because a huge project did not materialize. Not for altruism or angelic reasons. 1 month later, I got a 5000$ rebate on a years and years ago bill, from a most bureaucratic govt. department!!!! I was too foolish to realize the reasons then. Now it all makes perfect sense. IP: Logged |

I was thinking of doing something of that nature with the book anyway I am filling the bulk of it with my own work, mainly because hardly anyone is trusting enough to respond. I have gotten a few responses, we'll see...------------------ http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6562/pchan_stockton.html IP: Logged |

Gosh I have really enjoyed reading this thread. Could anyone be so kind as to advise me. I do 'save' a little money....it isn't out of greed or anything but fear. I have children and I know at any time they could need something so the money is there for that...it's also there for treats or holidays, nice things....is that type of saving okay?? It's hard for me to let go of the fear of having nothing for my family (pity me I'm a cancer moon with cancer ascendant!!!) But I do give. If my friends need help I'll give (never loan) them money. I LOVE buying surprise presents or arranging lovely surprises for people. (Like a trip to New York that I secretly arranged for my hubby which brought him such joy.) I suppose these gifts are selfish though as they make me happy too. I want to give more to the world...but don't know where to start? The thought of any empty food cupboard or bank account scares me to tears though. I don't have debts or credit cards. Am I afraid cos I have no faith cos really I do!!!! ------------------ I just want to love and be loved! - Marilyn Monroe, 1955 IP: Logged |

Hi F5HL, I am a Cancerian too. Previously, even Hulk Hogan would find it difficult to take cash away from me but after understanding the Cancerian traits of innate fear of security, I started to slowly experiment. I was a typical Cancer, thick wads of cash in all my pockets, cash everywhere around the house, full food cupboard, constant insecurity of will I survive etc etc etcBut know I feel comfy giving away cash. The formula is like this. If you spend X dollars without taking debt, then X dollars return. If you give away X dollars of savings with these thoughts: "How will this work? Is IqHunk a bluffing jerk? Is it money mystique or money mistake?", then X + X/2 dollars are the minimum assured returns. Max is X times 2. If you give away X dollars of savings with no thoughts in the head, returns are X times 3. If you give away X dollars with a prayer that the recipient multiply this money, and feel joyful emotionally as if he has already multiplied the money, then minimum returns are X times 5. Whom to give? Who expects the least and will get flabbergasted on receiving extra? They are the best candidates. A restaurant where average tip is 50 cents to 1$, give a 10 dollar tip there and see what happens. 10 will become 50, give away the 50, make it 250 and repeat. In 2-3 years, you will have done this about 10 times arleast and made an extra 100-125,000$. Ofcourse, the bigger amounts take a while to return and will cause changes in life so that you are ready to receive as well. Google on Percy Ross to get confirmation

years ago When i was still together with my ex boyfriend, we went out for drinks with another couple. As my ex boyfriend didn t want to drink, he just ordered a coke, and all of us others had quite expensive drinks. Although my ex decided to pay for everything. When we left the bar, he found the same amount he just payed for the drinks on the street. Sometimes god gives back emedetly.IP: Logged |

I believe you loe, the amount that is spent is recovered exactly. However, the speed with which he got it back indicates the power of selflessness. Had he also taken the drinks, the money may have taken a couple of days extra to arrive.IP: Logged |

When you have found God-Source within (and can stay in touch with it ), you will find you always have what you need. And the desire to accumulate great wealth disappears. You are happy Knowing that you will ALWAYS be provided for. And you are living in Universal Abundance. Struggling is a signal that youve lost touch, are identifing too much with the Ego, or living in fear. Forgotten that all you need is within and by changing the inner, thoughts, etc. - changes your outer circumstances. These recent eclipses in my 2nd and 8th houses have expanded my money consciousness greatly. I dont buy lottery tickets anymore, or worry about tomorrow. Be here now, and Be rich now. Even with only a dollar in your pocket. IP: Logged |

When youve lost the desire to be wealthy (naturally, not through force) and just want to Be - and truly recongnize the living God/dess that you are, and Live that and be an example of it to everyone that you encounter, you will never have to worry about going without again. There is no need to scramble to try to get to the top. Everything you need is here now and you are exactly where you need to be. If you dare open your eyes to it All. If you dont like what you are seeing, you can choose to change it all in an instant. You can read a million books on how to attain Abundance and know all of the laws and how the energy of money operates, but until you find the Abundance within, money will continue to elude you and you'll wonder why. Because youve chosen to place yourself in Duality, Maya, in the Illusion. Not realizing that it has to come from within first, there is no other way. You will be wasting your time trying to get rich by any other means than getting in touch with yourself first. Your outer circumstances are wake up calls. Sign posts on your road to tell you exactly where youre at in your game of Life. Not immovable objects for you to feel stuck behind and try to overcome. Dont like what you see? Change it. Dont wallow. Your life is passing you by. IP: Logged |
