My LOL is definitly writing fiction. When I get older, I'm going to write controversial books that'll make people open up their eyes. Like my grandma's always told me, the pen is sharper than the sword.IP: Logged |

firestar, good luck with that. It takes very special people to become nurses. My mums an RN for aged people. It just seems that she's been depressed ever since, but I do think she loves it, and maybe the depression is more from her childhood. In any case, it's great that you care. I'm interested in what your diet may be. So you didn't try Linda's?Best of luck with your studies! Everlong, you could start now you know? I don't wish to sound preachy, but sometimes it seems that your never too young or old. Your words now could be awesome! Take care, Dean. ------------------ Live Life and Love Like Doves! sesame:Yep, I already have started. I'm always writing or reading =). I'm not sure if I could actually get anything published at my age (less than two months until I turn fifteen), but then, the author of 'The Outsiders' was only sixteen when she published that. Thanks for the advice ^_^. IP: Logged |

My LOL (aside from teaching my kids to be the best humans they can be) is interior design... this kinda bleeds into flower arrangement too. Guess it's the 4 things (including sun) in Libra in my chart. I have an affinity to making my home beautiful as I can afford on my modest budget. It's more thrilling for me the less expensive it is. I live for Clearance Sales! I think this also ties into crafting, since I am making crafts to beautify my home or the home of the person I am creating the gift for.I also have volunteered to help several friends with their homes. Apparently not everyone has a clear understanding of why somethings things look good together and others don't. Seems to almost come second nature to me. IP: Logged |

LOLs, eh? What a great group of creative peoples we seem to have here! Well, here are mine:1.) My 3 & 5 year old DDs. Not always fun, but usually a joy, and a labor . . . of love! 2.) Quilting. Fabric is my art medium of choice. I enjoy the response I get to the work of my hands and heart. 3.) Writing. I need to give myself permission to really pursue this. One crisis at at time. 4.) Me. I've gotten away from taking care of me. I'm putting ME back on my list. Ergo, Linda Land, Purple Plates, and the color diet. (soon) That's a long enough list. Kells IP: Logged |

I've had this LOL since I read Star Signs, and is quite appropriate to add after Kells' post. It's a company called Purple Passion Corporation. It is a conglomeration of three subsidiary companies - Purple Passion Cuisine, Purple Passion Productions, and Purple Passion Excavations. I realise this as a very immature thought, but I like it.Purple Passion Cuisine is my first thought along these lines - the corporation just built out of it. This is the first funds raiser for the corporation. It involves a partnership with PHP. See, all seats have plates imbedded in the back cushions, and maybe the seats. The coasters are small purple plates. The food is stored on purple plates either in fridges or shelves. The water is all filterered through PHP technology. EVERYTHING has PHP ingrained in it. There would even be a little corner sellng discounted PHP merchandise. The point is that people come in and get healed without knowing it, but boy do they know the food! Predominantly vegan of course, but a few chicken dishes. Ambient music and brown interior themes. To go with the purple. The sign would be Purple PassIon Cuisine - the I in passion would be a diagram of some sort. This is to strengthen the meaning of Pass On. Purple Passion Productions would be music and books. Maybe movies at some point. Purple Passion Excavations (if there's still some sort of budget) would be concerned with excavations of course, but places I would like to see explored. Not that I have any ideas at present, but it's on the books Heaps of Love, Dean. IP: Logged |

I would like to teach blind children. Haven't really started working on it as yet. But might start shortly with the help of a friend whose aunt(also a nun) runs a school for the blind.Otherwise I'm a Software Engineer by profession and am working with a very reputed Indian company which deals with Mobile Networks. Love and luck... pocco IP: Logged |

My LOL is to initiate a place where the magic flows thick like hot fudge. It would have to be on a mountain (in it, too!) surrounded by nature. A place where people could heal and reignite their unique passions again. A place where music and art are used instead of costly medical procedures and drugs. Besides the arts, nutrition would be taught and practiced, and every individual would have their own pathway to better health laid out for them. There would be ancient books deep inside the mountain, resting on bookshelves hewn out of the stone walls, and there would be constant research and attainment of knowledge. Back to simplicity and the things we know, but have forgotten or label as "fairy-tales." I even have a name for this place, that adds to 15. Its odd...every time I smell wood burning in the fall, I remember this place. As if it had already existed... ------------------ "When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes." -Erasmus IP: Logged |
