Glad your business is in bloom.

How could you not study astrology when you talk about the sun and the moon ?

Maybe your understanding astrology could enhance your business?

I know I should study more about Moon astrology... The moon is very important in my astrology chart.

These guys give a report every day, mentioning where the moon is at the start of each broadcast! I've learned sooo much from them. I consider them "safe" astrologers.

we thought that astrology enthusiasts would love to see and be in tune with the actual natural hours and even minutes passings of the sun amd moon both above and below the horizon. Yet we see less interest in that by astrologers and elsewhere than the general public. Why is that?

Hi Jackie... You may not have been looking in the right places regarding astrologers and 'interest in sun and moon both above and below the horizon.'

Oh Jackie, that's a well known phrase among astrologers and students of astrology. I also understand it's used in witchcraft, magic, alchemy. There's nothing new under the sun (bk of Ecclesiastes) there....

Also used in religion. Can find it used in The Lord's Prayer (the 'Our Father'). Jesus taught them to say 'Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven...'

One of the first astrologers I became interested in has a website and a moon-monthly newsletter called Celestial Happenings..."As Above So Below." http://www.alanoken.com/newsletter/Feb13_A.htm

Here is an article from Alan Oken's archives on Sun-Moon... http://www.alanoken.com/newsite/articles/Sun-Moon-Elements-Qualities.htm

Here's Alan Oken's book called 'As Above, So Below: a primary guide to astrological awareness'... http://www.alibris.com/booksearch?qwork=445248

Jeff Jawer at StarIQ puts out a monthly NewMoon Newsletter-- it's free! Lots of "safe" information there, with links to others who are more reputable than ones you have met in the past, perhaps? You can find it here under NewMoon Report:

Watching the sky above can give us clues to what's happening with collective/personal energies and power on this earth. Also, when signifcant events happen here on earth, we can document these events and the associated sky configurations (geometry) and leave this for future generations to study and understand-- (like the Pope quitting, meteorite hit Russia, an asteroid that came close in a fly-by the earth).

Sometimes it's good to look into related topics to your interests, Jackie. Can angle your marketing with an additional understand.

I'm so glad that you and your husband are servers of humankind! Your heart seems certainly in the right place...

Love, mirage

Yes, indeed. "As it is above so it is below!" is such a wonderfully powerful observation. And so true.

But that said, we are still so curious about why today's astrologers (according to web site analysis statistics) tend to have so little interest in a device like ours which helps users keep track of the intra-day and night passages of both the sun AND the moon, both of them above AND below the horizon? Why we get something like 30 - 50 times as much time invested by the general public is so odd.

That said, per better knowing others and ourselves, what happens to us individually as the sun is moving both above AND BELOW the horizon?

And what happens to us as the moon is moving both above and BELOW the horizon too?

It seems those are not very important questions for most astrologers here and elsewhere. At least not yet, and perhaps never for most of today's astrologers.

But as we are optimists, we would not be surprised if at least some in this community will one day lead many future astrologers to consider those questions!
