People get weary of someone who it seems is only trying to sell them on something right off the bat. Especially if they feel like it's being pushed on them. There are many brilliant people here with their own different services that they offer. Some share the links to them once in awhile, when it's appropriate. But otherwise they have other things to share - for free, and don't make people feel like they are only trying to make a buck off of them. I'm not saying you are doing that exactly, but since no one really knows you yet, it can come across that way. I'm only saying how it might look or come across to long time members here. Many people come here to talk with friends and it's their special escape. So you might see how it could be annoying for someone to keep repeating info about something they are trying to sell. I get the feeling your intentions are good and like Randall said, you are a little overzealous and excited about what you do or offer. There is nothing wrong with new great ideas, or thinking you have found the new secrets to the universe and wanting to help people with them. But I think your best approach here would be to share info for free first and make friends. Let people know what you have to offer without wanting something in return for it first. You would be more likely to find customers that way, rather than just keep trying to sell us on your site first. Are you familliar with Tolle's work? Just from the outside looking in at this little situation, it seems like this is a nice little check to your ego and a way to re-think your approach. You don't have to ignore others here just because we arent the Webmaster of the site and do not make the rules either, because the rest of the people here are the ones that will be your potential clients. Not the Webmaster who lets things slide because you bought a banner. You must have other things to say to connect with the group here. We look forward to getting to know you and Yale. Many of us have spent years here helping each other in many ways. So someone willing to do the same is always welcome and accepted.[/B]
Yes, I see your points and they are good ones. A suggestion from my overly idealistic husband... How about if we have you give everyone here -- that you vouch for, a free full version as long as they promised not to send it to their friends? Love, Yale and Jackie IP: Logged |

Sorry for the confusion. Yale is my husband of almost forty-one years and very much a male, and I am very much his very female wife. He and I decided to have me be the go to person here per our joint BTP and BT4W work, but as he was being so willing to make TT freely available to your very active and cohesive community of self-exploreres, I thought it appropriate to give him prominence by using his name first, instead of last and in parenthesis. He sends his love, and is so enthusiastic about the possibility of members of this community using TT and giving us many comments and much advice and suggestion for improvement that he has already asked our programmer to get us for you all a full, one year version on Google Play so you can use all of its features on all of your Android devices. That will both give you lots of free time with TT, while making sure that if anyone here slips and sends the free copy to a friend outside of here, that copy will expire around the middle of Feb 2014. We think that fair and prudent, and we hope you all agree. Love, Jackie IP: Logged |

Hi Jackie... You still around? 41 years of marriage!! hoooyah!! That's a long time! When's the anniversary? How did the two of you learn astrology? What is your sign? Sun/Asc/Moon? (I'm a GeminiSun, SagRising, VirgoMoon) Well, just wanting you to know I'm thinking about you.... Blessings! Still around, but not active any more. In retrospect, muchbof what I posted would have been better in private messages. A shame that there seems to be no way to do that on this forum. Yes 41 years coming up on 6/4. And no, we are not at all knowledgeable about astrology. Which again in retrospect accounts for our disappointment that astrologers in general seem to have no interest in knowing their local sun and moon times. We only have found one astrologer interested in what we are doing. Plus of course the cool Thomas Moore quote on the astrological clocks page on our site. So while i enjoy seeing various postings, we need to spend less time here as things slowly continue to blossom. Love, Jackie

You're welcome, and Thank you. Well he is still not out of the woods. It will be awhile. More tests and all needed. The medical bills are rolling in and there is no money to pay for it. Sucks when bills exceed the cost of our home. So just not very optimistic right now. Sorry for being gloomy. IP: Logged |

How lovely... a June Bride! Again, congratulations on upcoming 41 years! Glad your business is in bloom. How could you not study astrology when you talk about the sun and the moon ? Maybe your understanding astrology could enhance your business? I know I should study more about Moon astrology... The moon is very important in my astrology chart. These guys give a report every day, mentioning where the moon is at the start of each broadcast! I've learned sooo much from them. I consider them "safe" astrologers. While we have more a mission than a business, your continued interest in us got me thinking!!! Hopefully you can answer a question about astrologers that still has us very perplexed.. Based on these words of Thomas Moore http://truetyme.org/AstroLogicalTT.html we thought that astrology enthusiasts would love to see and be in tune with the actual natural hours and even minutes passings of the sun amd moon both above and below the horizon. Yet we see less interest in that by astrologers and elsewhere than the general public. Why is that? Love, Jackie
