We recently began to see that on the Google Play store, Google associates our TrueTyme sun and moon clock and calendar phone & tablet app with an app called F---MTV.

While we would prefer to see that odd connection in the positive light described on our site , we are beginning to think that perhaps someone at Google may not have a sense of humor with regards to this press release of ours about women's self-awareness that we sent out a while ago... http://www.sbwire.com/press-releases/truetyme/body-clock/sbwire-176090.htm .

What do you think? And what do your friends here and elsewhere think? Should we feel paranoid or continue to be positive about their associating TrueTyme with F---MTV?

I think I'm far less paranoid in believing your only interest in us is as potential customers (even when you seemingly show sympathy you're sure to plug your site), and that you're getting trickier in spamming us as your previous spams have been locked or deleted. And then you try to manipulate us into spamming for you by seeing what "our friends think." I think that's being disrespectful of us and makes me not want to do business with you.

All the same, it's nice that you're a real person and not a spambot. OTOH, it would be nice if you could show genuine interest in our thoughts and lives rather than spamming us and trying to game our rules (showing you have no respect for this site which suggests you have no real respect for us either) to do so.

Hello. And thanks for your refreshing candor.

I am sorry you have decided to put what is an admitted crusade into the category of spam. But, of course, that is your right. And yes I am a newcomer here and my behavior can easily been seen as a gross intrusion.

In what little defense I might muster...

1. We FIRST sought out Randall's opinion as to whether what we are doing and why and how might be welcomed here.

2. Apparently our cutting to the chase so to speak instead of shmoozing you all for a while could be considered a tactical error. However, only if we were trying to scam you instead of just making loud and clear some things that urban life-style men, and least twice as much urban women, very much need to know.

3. As for not showing any interests in your lives and needs, have you as yet read the various pages on our site? Please forgive me as I could be very wrong, but I do not think so. Because according to Google Analytics statistics, visitors from this forum tend to spend well under a minute on our site, whereas visitors generally tend to spend an amazing 15 - 30 minutes. And frequently come back to read more. So obviously on this Forum I've at the least gone about seeking to get some interest in our Better Tymes For Women and Men in a terribly counter-productive way. Or sadly, what we are doing and how and why is just not your community's cup of tea. Either way, you be the judge... Do you have any interest and/or concerns that our menstrual cycles affect affect our circadian rhythms and vice versa? Do you have any interest in knowing that when the time of day and/or night is factored into administration of cancer chemotherapy, the effectiveness of the chemo goes up by as much as 400% and the amount of side effects goes down by as much as 75%? Are you aware of how much a patient being in a ICU is at risk of suffering from ICU psychosis in part due to no longer being aware of the passage of day and night? Do you have any interest or concerns about anything else on our site other than that we seek to have people here and elsewhere spreading the word about being more aware of how being more aware of the passage of sun and moon time is one of every woman's and man's most fundamental God-given needs? A need so fundamental to our well being because our properly synced to natural time body clocks are in us to regulate our organs and cells and 25% of our genes.

Btw, as for more occult aspects of this site per what we are doing, and seeking to do, we are inclined to think that we fit in very well. As posted elsewhere on this forum and apparently locked down, our sun time and moon time clock and calendar came to us under VERY strange circumstances -- and set us on a VERY unconventional journey.

Alas, here is my bottom-line -- and not a financial one... As we have no marketing skills nor talents, it is often our lot to rock people's boats as it has rocked yours -- and less forthcoming others here. We are very sorry for being so inadequate, and very very sorry for also being so old that we tend to cut to the chase. On the other hand, as I alluded to earlier, you are both very sweet AND very gutsy to have made your feelings and thoughts clear to Yale and me. And for that, much thanks.

Love, Jackie (and Yale)

TrueTyme purchased a Banner here, so I started a welcome string to them in LLC2 as a new advertiser, and I also told them they could start one in Know Two Are Alike. But I did not say they could post links all over the Forums.

Having communicated with them, I know that they mean well and have their heart in the right place. They are excited about their discoveries, and their zeal to share them has come across as intrusive, but that is more from a lack of marketing finesse than a deliberate attempt at SPAMming.

That being said, by TrueTyme doing so, you have sort of alienated yourselves in the community. We are a very tight close-knit extended family here, and the Knowflakes are very protective of their home. By being so aggressive, it has instead become counter-productive. Y'all should interact more, so that the Knowflakes can get to know you better, but be more subtle--like iQ and Ami are (put the link in your Signature, but don't plug your site constantly).

Thank you dear Randall for being so understanding. And you are so right on.

Moving forward, we will definitely compltely follow your sage advice. And any other advice you or anyone else here can give about more effective ways of marketing the importance of awareness of local natural sun and moon time -- elsewhere -- is much appreciated.

Love, Jackie and Yale

You kind of just plugged it again.

Just maybe join in on other threads and let people get to know you....without bringing up your website or what you do.

People will click on your banner and take it themselves, from there.

Nawww! We're a nice bunch. It just seems you are new to forums. Don't feel bad or sad. I have not checked out your site yet, but it seems you'd fit right in and have a lot to share here with the community. See you around!

It's okay having it in your Signature, so you can put it back.

Thank you, dear Randall.

I thought so, but then decided to give even our signature a rest in order to show good faith. If and when anyone here starts asking me questions about what we are doing and why and how, i will put the signature back. If not then not. -)

"Thank you, dear Randall." ....???

What about Mirage and I? We were friendly to you too!

See?... It would help you and your business to become friends with people here first before going gung ho and only talking about what you are trying to sell. People get weary of someone who it seems is only trying to sell them on something right off the bat. Especially if they feel like it's being pushed on them. There are many brilliant people here with their own different services that they offer. Some share the links to them once in awhile, when it's appropriate. But otherwise they have other things to share - for free, and don't make people feel like they are only trying to make a buck off of them. I'm not saying you are doing that exactly, but since no one really knows you yet, it can come across that way. I'm only saying how it might look or come across to long time members here.

Many people come here to talk with friends and it's their special escape. So you might see how it could be annoying for someone to keep repeating info about something they are trying to sell.

I get the feeling your intentions are good and like Randall said, you are a little overzealous and excited about what you do or offer.

There is nothing wrong with new great ideas, or thinking you have found the new secrets to the universe and wanting to help people with them. But I think your best approach here would be to share info for free first and make friends. Let people know what you have to offer without wanting something in return for it first. You would be more likely to find customers that way, rather than just keep trying to sell us on your site first.

Are you familliar with Tolle's work? Just from the outside looking in at this little situation, it seems like this is a nice little check to your ego and a way to re-think your approach.

You don't have to ignore others here just because we arent the Webmaster of the site and do not make the rules either, because the rest of the people here are the ones that will be your potential clients. Not the Webmaster who lets things slide because you bought a banner.

You must have other things to say to connect with the group here. We look forward to getting to know you and Yale.

Many of us have spent years here helping each other in many ways. So someone willing to do the same is always welcome and accepted.

I would also suggest keeping the link in your signature and becoming a regular member here. That's really all that is needed. The banner doesnt hurt either.

The best advertisement you could get here is by sharing your Self and leaving the link up in your signature with each post.

I'm a triple earth sign & just trying to be helpful. I hope it doesnt come across as being too blunt.

You remind me of an older person I once knew who I had to teach the basics of the computer and internet and forum etiquette. So, I'm trying to be gentle on you. I'm not sure you know any better.....but at the same time....eyeing you because in a way.....it seems like you do.

Just understand that no one here is being mean. We are just trying to help you out.

Let it sell it`s self. Any good product will do so

And if we are starting over, welcome again and I hope you find as much positive and interesting material here as we do!
