I thought I was the only one who carried a purple plate in my purse!!! Its been there since 1987. Would panic if it came up missing Randall, its a part of who I am.Has it helped, as long as its there I feel content, plus in all those years, even when things were bad, have never been completely broke, something always turns up. I have always woundered where all the small purpleplates has gone. I thought my kids lost them...Instead, they sometimes disappear... Where to? Gathering in some energetic place along with other purplplates...? Scorpiogirl IP: Logged |

We get radiation from a lot of sources, so I always keep my tachyon purple plate close by. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Taking a nice positive thread to the top! What I've noticed among friends, is that if you take one of your dominant food sources out of your diet for an extended period, and then consume it again, your body reacts poorly to the 'new' food source, making you sick. Those who follow Atkins with very little carbs, often feel tired and bloated and sick if they binge on chips or other processed carbs. Vegetarians who indulge in burger or steak often get very ill and have a lot of trouble digesting the meat. Me, I'm a vegetarian, have been for many years. I don't judge others on their food choices...well, I have a friend who likes to eat raw hamburger and that's just gross!! To each his/her own. And our bodies are different, some of us need carbs, some need proteins. The trick is finding which you are! Oh, and as far as digesting various foods...I think there is something to the whole food combining issue, too. Proteins and carbs don't mix, your body can't digest them together. Ergo, if you take one away from your diet completely, you are becoming a better digesting machine...which results in a better feeling overall. IP: Logged |

Eggs are vegetarian but not vegan. They are unfertilized, so many vegetarians eat them guilt-free. From a purely nutritional standpoint, eggs are complete proteins and contain sulphur (required for healthy skin, nails, and hair). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I gave up red meat about 7 or 8 years ago. I lost a nice deal of weight and have noticed that my Sag anger/temper has been much easier to control ever since. I also felt much lighter and mentally clearer right after, though I've become accustomed to that feeling now. I tried to wait 5 years to give up white meat but couldn't do it! After about 3 years any kind of white meat I consumed made feel quite ill ... even the sushi I had grown so fond of, lol. I noticed I would get lightheaded very easily after that, even though I tried to taper off as slowly as I could. I also felt sluggish for a while, but all that has cleared up since. I consumed a tiny bit of chicken once by accident in a soup I ordered from a restaurant ... I noticed the soup had chicken in it after I had eaten a spoonful of it! I had asked if it was a veggie soup with a veggie broth and was assured it was I ate nothing but veggies (as usual) the rest of that night but I felt absolutely awful the following night. I haven't consumed any meat since, though, and I feel absolutely wonderful. I haven't given up on some dairy still, but for the most part I drink soymilk instead of cow's milk. I honestly sometimes feel as if I'm floating and it is just fabulous. I also noticed I can remember my dreams much better since giving up meat ... and I'm also more sensitive to electrical frequencies! As for the purple plates, well, I had two but one poofed away The other one I keep in the bedroom. I carried it with me for a while, but I guess I'm too sensitive to it because I would feel very high-strung at those times. I only use it now when I feel ill or down, and I try to sleep with it, at least once a week, under my pillow. I feel quite refreshed after doing so It is absolutely one of the greatest inventions ever, and has never failed to help me feel better! Even my skeptical hubby calls out for it when he has a headache or is just feeling down, lol, and jokingly refers to it as my "magic, voodoo plate" He always feels better after ... and grudgingly admits it, which is alot coming from a very fixed Aquarius IP: Logged |

Something interesting happened to me today which is somewhat in line with the topic. I gave up all meat for Lent (therefore it's my 2nd day) and today I was much more sensitive to the animal presences around me. I saw several deer and noticed doggies and such near the road. Usually I am quite oblivious. ------------------ Sincerely, divinia What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

Hi, My brother gave me a purple plate for my birthday a few months ago and I absolutley love it, it was the best present I got(and my boyfreind gave me a diamond necklace!) When I came home today I noticed that my moms housplant was looking a little frail so I put the plate underneath the plant to bring back to life. This plate is so much fun, its like having your own purple pocket nome!IP: Logged |

Linda espoused vegetarianism, did she not?!YAY LINDA! I'm guessing she must have been a veg, perhaps late in her too-short life. Vegan maybe too!? I'm a veg for 22 years now - and counting! IP: Logged |

i had several purple plates, but now have only one small one in my possession. i used to love to give them away. i have a question though...some of the purple color has worn away around the edges and in scratches on the plate (i use it a lot!) is this proper for a purple plate? i thought linda said the color was anodized or something...should my purple plate be losing its color? (p.s. i'm a vegan wanna-be -- meaning i'm a veggie who attempts being vegan, but successful vegan-wise mostly in only the clothing and personal items department at present.) IP: Logged |

My purple plate is at least 10 years old, and has become a bit worn around the edges too. I usually keep it in my purse these days.I haven't checked on the costs lately, talaith. And I don't think I spent a great deal of money on the one I have, as at the time I didn't have much. I don't think Linda was Vegan, though perhaps she did not eat flesh. Her personal diet was rumoured to be very bad at times. Aselzion? Randall? IP: Logged |

hi trillian ~didn't linda advocate the slow conversion of one's diet to not only vegan, but fruitarian, and eventually breathtarian in Star Signs? she did talk a lot about eating rocky road ice cream and cookies and pie though, didn't she? my ideals in that area exceed the reality too.... I should probably have researched this more before posting, but i am certain that in "Love Signs," in one of "my" Pisces areas, she espouses vegetarianism, and actually minces no words about it. It made my heart sing to read those words from Linda... IP: Logged |

Yes, she did indeed espouse veganism, etc....but my understanding is that she wasn't always able to live that way. As talaith said, cookies and ice cream were some of her loves. She died from complications from diabetes, and if I recall correctly, some of those complications were due to poor diet. You can read a lot about these subjects here in this forum. IP: Logged |
