We have been trying to steer away from that and back to the original QUESTION: What did LINDA.....NOT LOTUS....think about homosexuality!
If gay relationships and love only bring to mind in you the subject of dirt star as you call it...then you are not in my opinion qualified to discuss such matters as the one we are trying to discuss...As it says here:Forum: Linda's Life

No, lotus, I don't get headaches. At least not from this. My heart is capable of accepting a rich and multi-layered Universe. My mind has no illusions that it might fully know the beautiful, intricate workings of Destiny. I stand in awe of this Divine Dance.what immortal hand or eye dare frame thy fearful symmetry? ..... I think Linda above all was a compassionate person who realized that it takes all kinds of people to make this world go round. She was also from a different generation where everything was black and white, right or wrong. Old school if you will. And I'm sure her early training may be why she used the word "un-natural sexual acts" The good thing about the world we live in today is that we are much more tolerant and accepting of personal practices, race, religion etc. It can't be easy being different

NO LOTUS- she is not redundant, and your certainly have not answered the question of what linda thought of analACTION. You have "simply" answered with what you have percieved, and interpretated Miss Gooodmans views. And in my opinion a very poor, and flacid distortion of her stances at that. IP: Logged |

Besides the point- wouldnt what linda goodman thought of such a moral or spiritual question be trivial too wetehr or not its the truth on the universes code and stance of buttfecking being good or bad ? For all her tallents, and credits,, she was only a very mortal minded woman... And an Aries at that [no offense to any MArs ruled hotheads reading this]... Just that,, Im not taking the end all be all of any spritual question of this calliber without a grain of salt from the mouth of an Aries, even the most advanced and elightened of Rams- theres always wiser sources, and voices of Creation out there.
and ps- have you ever wonderd if yer "motehr and father " there could simply be a few wraiths or deceased souls just having fun with ya ???[cause thats exactly one of the many things Id be doing to amuse my self if I was Earth bound and inbetween lives, especialy when I find peaple that will listen to anything I wisper, and take it as the voice of god without questioning-no mattter how absurd ] Or perhaps the possability of a severe chemical imbalence shouldnt yet be left out ?

Only to follow your Aries MErcury's useual well reaserched and well thought out assesment and statement with the typical droneing dribell of yer choice words of cultic onelivers, so that you dont have to let sugestions of another point of view sink in !!!

Not going to waste my time today trying to help one who believes they do not need help.
And yes Lotus even though you have treated me with great disrespect and worse... I would still try to help you. I do not have to like someone or believe as they do to help and I am willing to do so. I walk my talk Lotus. As a Spiritist/Humanist minister and counselor I believe in helping anyone wether I like them personally or not.
I am not a Christian...yet today already I have counseled a few on non religious matters.
I am open minded and care about folks even if they are not like me. I do not preach or judge them. When they come to me it is to talk..to have someone really care.

 trillian! I said something similar on another page as you did on this page..reposted my answer here again on this page. Yes..Lotus...I am being "redundant"again! What did Linda think?....reveals more than a general preference or bias.
As to unnatural acts...Ms Goodman would be in her 80s I believe if she were still in body. Even New Agers like her had issues with the idea of sexual alternatives. Remember she was "over the hill" ie; too old to experience in full the sexual revolution of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Anyone over 30 was suspect..because they had grown up in the Ozzie and Harriet days. Her repressiveness about alternative relationships was typical of people of her generation.
I think she would have been much more open minded had she been younger.
The fact that she dived into astrology was very brave of her. But her attitudes towards sexuality were outdated.
But when persons of her generation use the phrase "unnatural acts"...they usually meant any act other than man/woman..and only the basic vaginal/penile contact...not the oral or alternative acts. Now if she were referring to beastiality or pedophilia..that would be to most folks..unnatural acts. But her generation usually meant again...only man/woman and standard sex was normal. IP: Logged |
