Well..I am not going to explain...but I can assure you that Magus in another life knew the one folks call Jesus...or rather Yeshua.

Ok..I know some folks will laugh their heads off at me for saying all that! You will most likely have yourself a major field day with the issue! But I do not go about spouting what I know and have discovered to everyone..or to act better than others! I am just me. But I try to be the best me..but I still live as a human being! What I do or do not do with my body is none of your concern. What others do is also none of your concern! As long as it is mutual and consentual and adult with adult...it is no business of yours! Also the names you call our body parts! We are made in the image of GOD! Yet you use the most disgusting terms to describe and identify our body parts! I even have to admit that your "dirt star" term made me cringe and was rather shocking! And your obsession with the percieved dirtiness of human unions of any kind...unless you are in an aroused mood..and of the genital region...is downright creepy!
I also see you added to a post a few pages back about how your husband wanted "it"...and included alot of hee hee ha ha and so forth. What was so damn funny? That is not the sign of a person who is turned off or grossed out by the issue YOU brought up..
That is the indicators of a person aroused and titilated by the thought!
I wonder what filthy immature names you have for other parts of the male and female body? That ought to be a major scream! Or pitiful.
And as far as what we folk talk about in e-mails...well none of your business...but it would be, I would imagine to your disbelief and utter surprise...that it is a whole lot of intellectual/intellegent loving discussion!

I read all this earlier and tried to respond ( why, I don't know, I seem to do that!)
Luckily my computer shut down on me ( multi-tasking by downloading as well)
I say luckily, because it gave me a chance to rethink what I wanted to say, as i suspect it was quite long winded.
I will try to get right to the point.
People with similar theories/ideas tend to back each other up.. sometimes this appears to be a flock mentality, but they are as individual in style as anyone opposing them, just channelled in a way they 'hear'.
I have been accused of being among majority....
But ultimately, we will feel the way we feel is valid to us... and justuify it as needed, and redefine and evolve as our needs change. This is growth and listening is part of it.
I have no answers.
I don't care who anyone lays down with as long as it has pure motivations.. even if it doesn't, maybe it will lead to it.... it is not for me to judge.
Judgement is something I feel strongly about.. because we can give advice with every fiber of goodness in our bodies, and want another to 'change'...
but unless it comes from within, it won't resonate.
I don't particularily like hearing "You are wrong" maybe sometimes I am, and I can learn, but just because someone says it, it doesn't mean that they are right either.
We all think we are right.
And that is right to us.
So we can meet in the middle and try to remain respectful..
And that goes for ALL of us.
There should be no opposition, yet there seems to be, and that helps us challenge and reiterate what moves us.
So it is a good thing.
But we must all be willing to admit that we don't necessarily know what works for everyone. As long as it works for us, in our own lives. MOre power to that.Lotus, I do not like the way you assert that you are right and everyone else is wrong. It bothers me. I am all for confidence.. but you build it up as some mystical thing beyond yourself, and I think that has a damaging effect on both yourself and the people you are trying to help. Some might be mislead, and that is entirely too much power to feel confident using. Think before you spout the name of Mother and Father.
I have them too, but if i told everyone my divine source, and used that as a springboard so that I'd not actually have to define any thought I had, well, that's a cop out.
Also... in the other camp.
I know it is frustrating to hear the same things, and feel disillusioned, and want to cram thing down her throat so she'll 'learn'.. but really....
Magus.. clever you are, but really.. shock value has reached its limit and entered into rudeness, I believe.
I can chuckle to myself, in another environment, but also, I believe the person starting this thread is quite young.. though I could be wrong.
It is a matter of respect. So take off your hat when you come to the table.. but leave the other articles of clothing on please.  Can everyone try to moderate?
I know I have been caught up in the heat of moments here as well, and I know Mercuryt is once again retro, and we always seem to have these smouldering threads when that happens.. but
step back and you know.... realize that it isn't going anywhere, and not like this. Now, long winded et all....
Love is love is love is love.
Why else would we feel pleasure, but to feel it?
If it is pleasureable to you and you consent to that pleasure.. then why ask why?
I may not choose to partake of that sort of pleasure, but I will certainly not have any objections if you choose to.

Whites only on the front of the bus: right or wrong? You say perspective. Sure, there were lots of those with the perspective that blacks were meant to be slaves. Just as lots have the perspective that homosexuality is wrong, or that certain sexual acts are wrong. I don't believe that (again, so long as they are consenting adults), so personally, I'll call it as I see it. Once again a thread has degenerated. Magus, your posts do not inspire or uplift. Except...
Magus knows the one known as MM was not a w-ore......we have discussed this. He was speaking from the point of view of the popular notion most folks have about her. He was trying to make a point.
He does get rather passionate and I can understand why! He hates hypocrits and holier than thou types.And Lotus I have read more on Biblical matters than most folks. I have studied/do study from over 27 different versions and contrasted and compared.
I have read the story of Ruth. It has no relevance to me personally. Is there a point you were trying to make? Thank you Trillian

Oh dearEither I must be depraved, or have a very perverse sense of humour.....cos I think Magus is very entertaining and I like his uranian quirkiness. I also admire the way he pushes the boundaries. I read his posts to my hubbie and he laughed. Afterwards I said, am I depraved going for that stuff and he said...."no you just have a very good sense of humour"......I cant help but feel my male energy is strongly placed and I am virtually unshockable these days.....good or bad? Dont know.......its just what I feel.... No offence ladies.....I dont find the young man offensive......  As for english being his first language, OMG he could run circles around a lot here....he probably just happens to hit the wrong keys now and then...that is all.....I dont think anyone could argue that he is a very bright and intellectual guy. And if you care to read carefully between the lines you would see that his tongue is often placed very delicately inside of his cheek !! Maybe too subtle for some hey? I agree with you Trillian, you know that.. pretty much every thing you write here, I nod and don't need to add anything personally to it..including the taking a stand on more Universal issues of right and wrong...
I was speaking more to this thread itself, and the "I know all about you" on both sides....
It gets tiring, because it is always the same and everyone is right from their perspective.

Magus..Forgive me...but you do get rather shocking at times! I totally understand why you do. It does not offend me. Lotus hurt me..she hurt you..and many others. Let me clarify: I am not offended by the posts of Magus. Prejudice offends me; sex does not. My sense of humor is quite bawdy, though I usually do not display it here.
His posts, however, are meant to bait and taunt. I find nothing intellectually stimulating in that practice. And frankly, I have to skim while reading many of his posts because they are so poorly written and constructed. Now, if we can't get back to the subject at hand why don't we just vote to close this thread, and I'll do it? It's so far off base, with people slinging cr@p back and forth, and continuing their own little fan clubs, that I can no longer see its purpose.
It's no secret that there is a line of division between many of the posters here, and that it is becoming an exercise in flogging a dead horse. Namaste.

I too am not offended by what Magus posted
I personally PREFER HIM LIKE THAT!!!!!
..but his hurt and anger came through. I do not condemn him for that because I wanted to say far worse. He does have blunt honesty..and again I want that personally from him!!!!!
And I agree...my sense of humpor as with many adults is quite bawdy compared to how we compose ourselves here. But Some of us are not as bawdy in our humor. We must not lie but we must try to have show some modicom of decorum in public forums..as much as we are able while still firmly expressing ourselves and making our points. Kids do come here too. It is hard at times to do so... as in conflicts with Lotus because she has hurt us here at LL and off in e-mail...so the reasons for our hurt and anger often do not play out accurately or clearly in our posts. We all can seem to be more angry than is warranted..to folks not knowing the back stories.Please Trillian..
