I'd say the shorter the time you've been in the world, the less worried you are about leaving it. Babies and young children are great survivors, precisely because they are so carefree.

Arlovesdawn, that's interesting what you said about your experience with the barabra brennan practioner. i had a similar experience. i was initially disappointed with the treatment, for several reasons.

i realized, a few years later, that the healing had taken place in a myriad of ways, on several different subtle levels. and though it appeared to me at the time that she had not provided what i expected -- i did not receive the expected of results of the healing i had requested -- she had indeed given me the healing that i needed, in a very profound way.

i'm quite certain that her work extended well beyond the physical healing she worked with her hands. what she did, in the one healing session i had with her, allowed me to healthily carry and give birth to my babe. i made this realization not long ago. for quite a while i had harbored unpleasant feelings about the encounter. but i understand now that it was the healer's action that allowed my body to be pregnant with a healthy babe.

and i think that is just so awesome and cool. i suppose i felt the need to share that story since you mentioned the brennan school healer. sorry it's rather lengthy.

To return to the subject. It is really hard for the americans here to know what it is to live in a crowded world. In the UK even the cemeteries are overcrowded. People are being dug up and reburied and the Catholic Church has lifted its ban on cremation, there is no space for living or dead

When people are "immortal", they have no need for any of the "resources" that us creatures on the biological wheel do, that is why there would be no population problem

But that is exactly my point, obe. Too many people here have not fully realised that life for an immortal will be totally DIFFERENT from anything that is happening in their life at the moment.

Oh, well at least you get what I'm saying then

I think this confusion may be coming from some of the ways/steps in which Linda spoke of "becoming immortal". I don't know if she meant it to be taken that way (but I hope not because that kind of taints my view of Linda), but the way I think she thought of it was as a guide for someone who already followed her train of thought. I don't think that going against one's natural needs does any good, (especially when we still enjoy those things) I think it is a complete change of TASTE for a different wavelength/type of energy that is the difference

In fact, I think it's something that will happen in its own time, so we need not even worry about it, because the only way to follow it is by being ourselves, and being ourselves means being at peace

Being immortal doesn't mean living like a recluse and meditating 12 hours a day. I live life to its fullest and try to enjoy every moment. Why attempt immortality if you don't love life? Just my take. Carry on.

I doubtm we can be immortal and stay "here" To be immortal is automatically to be in a higher dimension

When praticing immortality we already have the foundations of evolving spiritually by eating and breathing correctly, a change of mental attitude, breaking karmic chains etc. We are attaining to be more "christ" like. Over populution shouldn't be a problem as we will vibrate to a higher frequency and 'travel' wherever we wish.

Linda does give us an answer in Gooberz with regards to this subject.

Anything is possible we can overcome overpopulation by creating underground cities. And Also we can create space cities. When can destroy small buildings and turn them into huge skyscraper apartments to make more room for people. We can create different floorlevels on Earth like 20 floor levels high room for 140billion people. Just think about going to the second floor of earth all the way up to the 20th floor. We can put underwater cities as we arrive to the future we'll the technology then to do all this as man advances in technological pursuits. The Immortal empires we'll have on earth no man or woman will ever be lonely

i always thought the answer to overpopulation with immortality was very simply : linda's belief in astrological birth control. because immortals do not have the same CRAVING for children that the hoi polloi appear to have, and which is pushed on us at every turn by society. they have learned to regain that innocent wonder that makes children SOOO appealing, i don't deny it...

I do agree kat. I try to nourish both the child and the elderly person that lives in me.

I think we already have this ^

Also, When you guys mention immortality are you referring to physical immortality? Why would anyone want physical immortality? I am almost convinced that the soul is immortal and being an immortal soul is a lot more fun than being incarnate for 900 years.

Birth amnesia sucks. Why bother? I've accumulated so much rare knowledge that why would I want to lose all of it?
