This one's not my all time favorite, but the second i heard it it Caught me.Pearl Jam Marker in the Sand There is a Marker,... No one sees it cause the sand Has covered over,.... All the messages it kept Misunderstanding,.... what original truth was And out expanding,... In a faith but not in love What went Wrong? Walking tightrope high,... over moral ground Seeing visions of,........ Falling up somehow Do come down With the living, let,.... what is living love So unforgiving, yet,..... Needing forgivness first! God, what do you say? Those undecided,.... needn't have faith to be free And those misguided, There was a plan for them to be Now you've got both sides Claiming killing in gods name But god is nowhere,... to be found, conviently What goes on? Walking tightrope high, over moral ground Walk The Bridges BEFORE YOU BURN THEM DOWN! Do come round With the living, let,.. what is Living love so unforgiving, yet,.... needing forgiveness first! God, what do you say? What do you say? There is a sickness,... A sickness coming over me Like watching freedom,. Being sucked straight out to sea And the solution? Well, from me far would it be But the Delusion, Is feeling dangerous to me What goes wrong? Walking tightrope high,. Over moral ground Seeing visions of,. Falling up somehow Do come down With the living, let,. What is living love So unforgiving, yet,. Needing forgiveness first! What do you say? God, What do you say? Calling out, Calling out Calling out, I'm calling you out. IP: Logged |

Been listening to Traffic this afternoon.....Hidden Treasure (Winwood/Capaldi) Take a walk down by, take a walk down by the river There's a lot that you, there's a lot that you can learn If you've got a mind that's open, if you've got a heart that yearns If you listen to, if you listen to the water You will hear the sound, you will hear the sound of life There's a million different voices, there is happiness and strife Message in the deep, from a strange eternal sleep That is waiting there, that is waiting there Waits for you Like hidden treasure The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (Winwood/Capaldi) If you see something that looks like a star And it's shooting up out of the ground And your head is spinning from a loud guitar And you just can't escape from the sound Don't worry too much, it'll happen to you We were children once, playing with toys And the thing that you're hearing is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys The percentage you're paying is too high priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams But today you just read that the man was shot dead By a gun that didn't make any noise But it wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest, was The low spark of high-heeled boys If you had just a minute to breathe and they granted you one final wish Would you ask for something like another chance? Or something similar as this? Don't worry too much It'll happen to you as sure as your sorrows or joys And the thing that disturbs you is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys If I gave you everything that I owned and asked for nothing in return Would you do the same for me as I would for you? Or take me for a ride, and strip me of everything including my pride? But spirit is something that no one destroys And the sound that I'm hearing is only the sound The low spark of high-heeled boys Roll Right Stones (Winwood/Capaldi) 'Till I find out, where will I go, where will I go I don't know, I don't know I don't know where The space is between my eyes Open up the heavenly skies Death awaits with pearly gates For those who've been mesmerized Many a year has come and gone Went to see a standing stone Some in circles, some alone Ancient, worn and weather torn They chill me to my very bone Many of these can be seen In quiet places, fields of green Of hedgerow lanes with countless names But the only thing that remains are the roll right stones Space age before my eyes Opening up the skies And death awaits with pearly gates For those who've been mesmerized Many years have come and gone But progress marches slowly on In nature's paint, she hides the stain 'Cos everybody is going insane The only, the only thing that will sustain are the roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Went to see an ancient mound People buried underground Long ago, we’ll never know What it was like to hear their sounds Black crow, I know you've been here You've see the sights of yesteryear You steal the grain of the conquered plain But the only thing that remains are the roll right stones Space age before my eyes Opening up the skies And death awaits with pearly gates For those who've been mesmerized Many years have come and gone But progress marches slowly on In nature's paint, she hides the stain 'Cos everybody is going insane The only, the only thing that will sustain are the roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Roll right stones Stranger to Himself (Winwood/Capaldi) Struggling with confusion, disillusionment too Can turn a man into a shadow, crying out from pain Through his nightmare vision, he sees nothing, only well Blind with the beggar's mind, he's but a stranger He's but a stranger to himself Suspended from a rope inside a bucket down a hole His hands are torn and bloodied from the scratching at his soul He's but a stranger to himself Heaven is in Your Mind (Winwood/Capaldi/Wood) You ride on the swing in and out of the bars Capturing moments of life in a jar Playing with children, acting as stars Guiding your vision to heaven and heaven is in your mind Take extra care not to lose what you feel The apple you're eating is simple and real Water the flowers that grow at your heel Guiding your vision to heaven and heaven is in your mind Empty Pages (Winwood/Capaldi) Found someone who can comfort me, but there are always exceptions And she's good at appearing sane, but I just want you to know She's the one makes me feel so good when everything is against me Picks me up when I'm feeling down, so I've got something to show Staring at empty pages, centered 'round the same plot Staring at empty pages, flowing along in the ages Often lost and forgotten, the vagueness and the mud I've been thinking I'm working too hard, but I've got something to show Staring at empty pages, centered 'round the same plot Staring at empty pages, flowing along in the ages IP: Logged |

It was one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar: CAN'T FIND MY WAY HOME STEVE WINWOOD - (Blind Faith) D7sus G Come down off your throne Gm/Bb D And leave your body alone F G D Somebody must change
You are the reason I've been waiting so long Somebody holds the key G A Asus D Dsus D Well I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time Em G F#m Em D And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home Come down own your own And leave your body alone Somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting all these years Somebody holds the key I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time Oh and I'm wasted and I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home Still I can't find my way home And I aint done nothing wrong But I can't find my way home IP: Logged |

How Can I Keep from SingingMy life goes on in endless song Above earth’s lamentations, I hear the real, though far-off hymn That hails a new creation. Through all the tumult and the strife I hear its music ringing, It sounds an echo in my soul. How can I keep from singing? While though the tempest loudly roars, I hear the truth, it liveth. And though the darkness ’round me close, Songs in the night it giveth. No storm can shake my inmost calm, While to that rock I’m clinging. Since love is lord of heaven and earth How can I keep from singing? When tyrants tremble in their fear And hear their death knell ringing, When friends rejoice both far and near How can I keep from singing? In prison cell and dungeon vile Our thoughts to them are winging, When friends by shame are undefiled How can I keep from singing? ~ Enya

love this song listened to it driving home Evergreen Terrace - Plowed Will I wake up Is it a dream I made up No I guess it's reality What will change us Or will we mess up Our only chance to connect with a dream Say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me Say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me I'm buried by the sound In a world of human wreckage In a world of human wreckage In a world of human wreckage I'm lost and I'm found And I can't touch the ground I'm plowed into the sound To see wide open With a head that's broken Hang a life on a tragedy Plow me under the ground That covers the message That is the seed Say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me Say a prayer for me, say a prayer for me I'm buried by the sound In a world of human wreckage In a world of human wreckage In a world of human wreckage I'm lost and I'm found And I can't touch the ground I'm plowed into the sound Will I wake up Is it a dream I made up No I guess it's reality... one more favorite No Excuses... Alice in Chains Its alright There comes a time Got no patience to search For peace of mind Layin low Want to take it slow No more hiding or Disguising truths Ive sold Everyday its something Hits me all so cold Find me sittin by myself No excuses, then I know Its okay Had a bad day Hands are bruised from Breaking rocks all day Drained and blue I bleed for you You think its funny, well Youre drowning in it too Everyday its something Hits me all so cold Find me sittin by myself No excuses, then I know Yeah, its fine Well walk down the line Leave our rain, a cold Trade for warm sunshine You my friend I will defend And if we change, well i Love you anyway Everyday its something Hits me all so cold Find me sittin by myself No excuses, then I know

one more Jamiroquai.... Virtual Reality Oh yeah, what we're living in (let me tell ya) It's a wonder man can eat at all When things are big that should be small Who can tell what magic spells we'll be doing for us And I'm giving all my love to this world Only to be told I can't see I can't breathe No more will we be And nothing's going to change the way we live Cos' we can always take but never give And now that things are changing for the worse, See, its a crazy world we're living in And I just can't see that half of us immersed in sin Is all we have to give these - Futures made of virtual insanity now Always seem to, be govern'd by this love we have For useless, twisting, our new technology Oh, now there is no sound - for we all live underground And I'm thinking what a mess we're in Hard to know where to begin If I could slip the sickly ties that earthly man has made And now every mother, can choose the colour Of her child That's not nature's way Well that's what they said yesterday There's nothing left to do but pray I think it's time I found a new religion Waoh - it's so insane To synthesize another strain There's something in these Futures that we have to be told. Futures made of virtual insanity - now Always seem to, be govern'd by this love we have For useless, twisting, our new technology Oh, now there is no sound - for we all live underground Now there is no sound If we all live underground And now it's virtual insanity Forget your virtual reality Oh, there's nothing so bad. I know yeah Of this virtual insanity, we're livin in. Has got to change, yeah Things, will never be the same. And I can't go on While we're livin' in oh, oh virtual insanity Oh, this world, has got to change Cos I just, I just can't keep going on, it was virtual. Virtual insanity that we're livin' in, that we're livin' in That virtual insanity is what it is Futures made of virtual insanity - now Always seem to, be govern'd by this love we have For useless, twisting, our new technology Oh, now there is no sound - for we all live underground Living - Virtual Insanity Living - Virtual Insanity Living - Virtual Insanity Living - Virtual Insanity Virtual Insanity is what we're living in

April, come she will, When streams are ripe and swelled with rain.May, she will stay, Resting in my arms again. June, she'll change her tune, In restless walks she'll prowl the night. July, she will fly, And give no warning to her flight. August, die she must, The autumn winds blow chilly and cold. September, I'll remember, A love once new has now grown old. ---------------------------------- That was the popular "April, Come She Will" by Simon and Garfunkel. I'm not sure if this song has been posted before, but considering the text, I wouldn't be surprised, but there are too many postings to sift through. Anyway, it just came up on my computer's "Shuffle" option. I wouldn't say it comes up on my list of favorite songs, but I do find it beautiful and certainly contains a few zodiac-via-nature tendencies. IP: Logged |

so expressive...You Kill Everything You Love There’s no point in being careful I’ll burn bridges anyway There’s no point in talking vicious (I’ve) nothing cutting left to say I’ve achieved my own survival I’ve refined my own sweet hell There’s no point in craving beauty When you’ll tear me anyhow If I look you in the eye I swear I’ll die ‘Cos you kill everything you love Should I scar my face To find my peace While you kill everything you love There’s no point in sitting silent There’s no reason to stay calm I’ve no means to look resentful (’Cos) everybody you will charm (I’m) crowded out by stupid duty Smothered dead by your disdain There’s no point in shouting angry (’Cos) there’s no reason i should stay ~Skin

Love Song TeslaSo you think that it's over, Say your love has fin'lly reached the end. Any time you call, night or day, I'll be right there for you if you need a friend. It's gonna take a little time. Time is sure to mend your broken heart. Don't you even worry, pretty darlin'. I know you'll find love again. Yeah. (Chorus) Love is all around you. Love is knockin' outside the door. Waitin' for you is this love made just for two Keep an open heart and you'll find love again, I know. Love is all around you. Love is knockin' outside the door. Waitin' for you is this love made just for two Keep an open heart and you'll find love again, I know. (Chorus/Outro) Love will find a way. Darlin', love is gonna find a way, Find its way back to you. Love will find a way. So look around, open your eyes. Love is gonna find a way. Love is gonna, love is gonna find a way. Love will find a way. Love's gonna find a way back to you, yeah, I know. I know. I know. ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll

The Broad Majestic Shannon The PoguesThe last time I saw you was down at the greeks There was whiskey on sunday and tears on our cheeks You sang me a song as pure as the breeze Blowing up the road to glenaveigh I sat for a while at the cross at finnoe Where young lovers would meet when the flowers were in bloom Heard the men coming home from the fair at shinrone Their hearts in tipperary wherever they go Take my hand, and dry your tears babe Take my hand, forget your fears babe There's no pain, there's no more sorrow They're all gone, gone in the years babe I sat for a while by the gap in the wall Found a rusty tin can and an old hurley ball Heard the cards being dealt, and the rosary called And a fiddle playing sean dun na ngall And the next time I see you well be down at the greeks There'll be whiskey on sunday and tears on our cheeks For it's stupid to laugh and it's useless to bawl About a rusty tin can and an old hurley ball Take my hand, and dry your tears babe Take my hand, forget your fears babe There's no pain, there's no more sorrow They're all gone, gone in the years babe So I walked as day was dawning Where small birds sang and leaves were falling Where we once watched the row boats landing By the broad majestic shannon http://www.myspace.com/reducerssf IP: Logged |

This is my favorite song at the moment because I met a guy a week ago- and he was singing this song in my ear. He's like a prince coming to rescue me from my bad relationship that I currently have with someone else. I can't get the song out of my head and I cry every time I hear it. Pete Murray - Opportunity And so it goes another lonely day Your savin time but your miles away Your fly was drownin in some bitter tea For seeing lost opportunity Find your mirror go and look inside And see the talent you always hide Don't go kidd yourself well not today Satisfaction's not to far away Hold on now your exits here It's waiting just for you Don't pause too long It's fading now It's ending all too soon you'll see Soon you'll see Your coffee's warm but your milk is sour Life is short but your here to flower Dream yourself along another day Never miss opportunity Don't be scared of what you cannot see Your only fear is possibility Never wonder what the hell went wrong Your second chance may never come along Hold on now your exits here It's waiting just for you Don't pause too long It's fading now It's ending all too soon you'll see Soon you'll see Hold on now your exits here It's waiting just for you Don't pause too long It's fading now It's ending all too soon you'll see Soon you'll see [x5]

these are all songs by daniel johnston http://www.rejectedunknown.com/lyrics/index.htm Story of an Artist Listen up and I'll tell a story
About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold Everyone, and friends and family Saying, "Hey! Get a job!" "Why do you only do that only? Why are you so odd? We don't really like what you do. We don't think anyone ever will. It's a problem that you have, And this problem's made you ill." Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold The artist walks alone Someone says behind his back, "He's got his gall to call himself that! He doesn't even know where he's at!" The artist walks among the flowers Appreciating the sun He does this all his waking hours But is it really so wrong? They sit in front of their TV Saying, "Hey! This is fun!" And they laugh at the artist Saying, "He doesn't know how to have fun." The best things in life are truly free Singing birds and laughing bees "You've got me wrong", says he. "The sun don't shine in your TV" Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold Everyone, and friends and family Saying, "Hey! Get a job!" "Why do you only do that only? Why are you so odd? We don't really like what you do. We don't think anyone ever will. It's a problem that you have, And this problem's made you ill." Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old. Some would try for fame and glory Others just like to watch the world.

He'd look at the floor and scribble on gum wrappers He never found a better way to joke around The clock would tick, time was slow There wasn't anywhere that he wouldn't go to avoid Having to see anyone He'd sit in a chair and lean against the wall He just didn't seem to matter much at all But late at night, he had a savior In his sleep, in his dreams She came to him and she said Poor you, poor you No one understands you Poor you, poor you And every word that everyone would say Got mumbled up in his head Like mumblejumble and everywhere he went It seemed everyone was saying to him Blah Blah Blah But late at night, he had a mistress In his dreams, in his sleep, And she would say Poor you, poor you No one understands you Poor you, poor you This story, though not well told, is not that old It's not that funny, it's not that great But I know it to be true Because late at night, I have an angel In my dreams, in my sleep And as she runs her fingers through my hair As I lay on her lap and she says Poor you, poor you No one understands you Poor you, poor you IP: Logged |

Never Get To HeavenMother told me always to follow their golden rule and she said it's really a sin to be mean and cruel so remember, if you're untrue the angels up in heaven will be lookin' at you You'll never get to heaven if you break my heart so be very careful not to make a spark you won't get to heaven if you break my heart - oh no I've been hearing rumors about how you played around though I don't believe what I hear still it gets me down if you ever should say good-bye it would be so awful, the angels would cry [ref.] I can hardly wait for the day when we say "I do" it's the day I dreamed of so long now it's coming true you will promise to cherish me if you break your promise the angels will see [ref.] never get to heaven

I Killed The Monster I'm moving on. I'm getting out.
I killed the monster Passed it behind, fate has been kind. I killed the monster I know it's right, I learned to fight I killed the monster Let it be said when I am dead I killed the monster He put me down through many rounds But I have found a good thing Right to the end I was my friend I killed the monster I almost lost I paid the cost I killed the monster Angels came down right on the ground I killed the monster Blood on the ground, there was no sound I was the winner They put me down through many rounds But I have found a good thing I killed the monster IP: Logged |

Ghost Of Our LoveWho's that knocking at the door It's the ghost of our love He just wants to sing a song some more It's the ghost of our love We really thought he was dead We just wanted to go to bed Who's that knocking at the door It's the ghost of our love The ghost of our love The ghost of our love
