I'm a 3rd generation Californian, and 100% British on my Mom's side - Gpa was British, from NZ, Gma is British, from Canada - I can trace my geneology back on my Gpa's side to 1292.On my Dad's side, not too clear on that one - we're apparently German, French, and British - the family emigrated from Canada down into ID and NE sometime in the late 19th century/early 20th century. There are rumors of an "illicit" union between Dad's grandma and an American Indian (no idea what tribe), which apparently produced my grandfather, however nobody will talk about it so I've no idea whether I actually have indian blood, and if so, from what tribe... Bit of Danish and enough of East Asia to give me my funky eyes YAY!!!!! Had to call my grandpa for half the info on this tho But I tell most people I’m a Brit - or Swede - or both. There’s no need to give ‘em my life story right IP: Logged |
