Still don’t know why there was only one female smurf???
What about…

The baby-sitter club, the word sike lol, the banned slap bracelets Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The 80’s and early 90’s were but fun

Glad you guys enjoyed this. Oh the memories......wait a sec, I still say "sike", "not!" j/k....

My 22 year old asked if we by chance had any of those slap bracelets around, she thought it would be fun to bring them back. haha

Being a mom during those times I could comment on all of the above, (but I won't, lol) so this was fun for me too.

Gah, I remember the LA Gear shoes coming in, I so didn't want to get into paying that kinda of money for stupid tennis shoes for my kids.....and soon only the cool kids sported them, soon I broke down, but made it a special gift-something big- like a birthday present or Xmas present, lol.......I believe that started the tennis shoe high dollar faze......look where its taken us today.

Wow...I remember the 80s myself, having been born in 82 (year E.T. came out!!!) but that list still threw it more into perspective. We've come a long way!

I think the only things I really miss from the 80s are...DeLoreans...ummm haha yeah I really can't think of anything else I miss from that era! Oh, and when hot wheels/matchbox cars were models of actual cars and not these futuristic weirdo ones out now.

I can't stop laughing! And, yes, I remember all the lyrics to the Duck Tales theme song ... and the Fresh Prince of BelAir. I reserve "the Carlton" for special occasions, though. Thanks for this blast from the past, I need to share it with my friends now.

... still have my HyperColor, I love that shirt! My Little Pony, started this collection with the first six and, it grew to somewhere between 350/400... still have all of them too! M.A.S.K was my Bro's favorite.

... odd, I have such a hard time feeling like that span of life is a good 20 years behind me!

That was rad, thanks

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!
I had a bunch of Jem dolls. (I secretly loved the Misfits) I actually had a tape too.. maybe it came with the dolls, I don't know... but because I sang, and wanted to be a singer, I especially loved them.
I always thought it was wierd that Mr.Jem didn't know they were the same woman......but also wierdly, I'd root for 'one girl' above 'the other', that he'd choose.. and it would oscillate show to show.. how strange. Considering they are the same girl....

all I can say is WOAH! lol crazy that the 80's were that long ago, seems like yesterday really.

#7 - I admit I LUVED Joey Lawrance. My Aries teases me to this day about having a mad crush on Joey and believe it or not I still have his single he released on cassette. *as well as all the NKOTB cassettes* LMAO
#8 - I luved him too. Saw him in concert when I was in 5th grade. LOL "2 LEGIT 2 QUIT"
#11 - Duck Tales rocked! yes, the Saturday moring cartoons are nothing like they used to be.
#21 - OMG, my niece is reading these in school now, but they are all the new ones that I havent read. I still have my Ramona books packed away in storage too.
#30 - Hyper Color. Well I luved them but my mom wouldnt by one for me. So i always wore my friends shirts to school. My sister just came back from Cabo and they sell Del-Sol shirts .... just add sun. They are pretty cool, first thing I thought of was hyper color. www.justaddsun.com
