I don't know.
I think I am beating a dead horse.
I absolutely don't think "flowers and love" should be in every post.... of course not.
If someone were to post here all the time in the spirit of nastiness, that is one thing.. but if they are known for being a lovely person, with a sparkling personality and a warm attitude, and have said in days leading up to *it* that they are sad and angry and needing something...
Then when the sh!t hits the fan, I will treat it with an understanding attitude.
I would hope it is transient, and I know when I have had tantrums in my life, (I AM a Scorpio..) I didn't expect people would hold my bad mood against all the goodness I'd had before that... and deem the good null.
I would hope there would be a starting place, with some understanding.
So I hold to this, as it is out of character, and also, Mercury is Retrograde and messing with things.. It really is.
I do think the editted profile is little immature, but still... if she came back, I am not going to 'punish' her.

When you act out in the first place, you feel crappy... add more to that, and where does one go? It takes a big person to say "I was wrong, I am sorry for my behaviour."
I think she is that person. Whether she comes back is her decision.

To be honest, I don't know that I've even socialized with VTT by responding much or if at all to her threads. But if you will take a moment and look back a few weeks to what topics she has started ie:
.....nervous breakdown/.......day for Hell today?/.......if it seems I've disappeared..........................one could tell that this young very level headed young lady is experiencing growing pains.........she had been coming here to vent and felt comfortable enough to do so.
She was very well received here. She contributed a lot.

I'm not saying I approve of what was said at all.....I just see pain and anger, which doesn't seem to be in her nature, she hit the bottom and I'm worried, thats all. I hate to see people suffering.

If these responses were made by someone who just popped in and decided to act out this way, I wouldn't waste an ounce of energy to even respond to them.

Gah, I really do like this forum, but sometimes... Sometimes some of the things people say here just disgust me, is all. I read VirgoTaurusTaurus' posts in that Astrology thread, and I find absolutely nothing inacceptable there at all. HELLO? All you ridiculous, judgemental morons out there, not to mention names or anything, but have you never had a bad day? If you've been reading anything that VTT has been posting, then maybe you've read that she has been having a few of those lately. Cut her some slack, for christ's sake. I'm not pretending to know much about her situation - I've only talked to her a few times, but I think that I can imagine how she feels, as I think anyone else here could if they would only think about it for a minute. Now, of course I'm not saying that I agree with everything she said in the Mantra thread, but if anyone deserves a break, I think it's her.

Anyway, VTT, I really hope you don't leave forever. You are definetly one of my favorite people here in LindaLand, and that is saying something, truly. I don't really know what else to say.

Perhaps some of us were disgusted at the way she expressed herself. We are not morons. Judgemental? Not in the way in which you imply. It is impossible to live without judging.

These are open forums, and everyone has a right to express his or herself, without being called a moron, or any of the nasty things said by VTT.

Does everyone deserve a 2nd chance? Of course. And a third and a fourth.

I do find what she said unacceptable. I can also see how what I said in the first place was unnerving to her..(though I don't know why so, to THIS extent.. for her to actually leave)

But it's bygones to me. I hope she calms down and does come back..

I agree with Aen and Trillian, but I think she is very young and probably did this in the heat of the moment, but it wasnt appropriate and was very immature and I found it offensive. Lets hope we can continue to challenge each other in a civilised manner. Im not one to run with the crowd and would always speak out but try to do this in a mature and non offensive way (I hope).
