World's Ugliest Dog?

Yes, he's real. He's blind, a pedigreed Chinese crested, is now 14 years old and in poor health.

You can check him out at snopes, too, though this stuff came from Resource Investor.

Hmm, pics won't post, so here's the link: http://www.resourceinvestor.com/pebble.asp?relid=10958

I'd still love him too.

To judge by looks alone would make us incredibly shallow.

Prejudice is ugly. This dog is just unconventional in his looks.

Are you sure this is what you wanted to say, despite its possibility of being true? God/dess helps and forgives you all the time, but to change, your challenge is to forgive yourself.

Why hasn't this dog been put out of its misery?

It has to be in pain. How sad

Must be very strong.

Animals can deteriorate alot when they live to be very old.

I didnt find that guy as repulsive as the dog. He seems out of his mind.
I dono that dog will survive if it is not given extra care. Somehow it does not seem to belong to this world.
How much I try, I wont b able to love that dog and I know it is not right to feel that way.

I would love this dog if he was mine, but if he was mine he would not look like that! I've seen dogs as old as he is and none of them looked so terribly neglected! My heart is full of sorrow and compassion when look at his pic poor thing...

I think you cannot and should not try and force yourself to love/like something/someone you do not!

quote:
Prejudice is ugly.

Yes it is, but I think prejudice and feelings is not the same thing, very often our minds disagree with our hearts, the best thing we can do is to accept our selves and our feelings as they really are! It is sure better than just lie about your true feelings, saying 'yes, I could love this dog!' and feeling that you just cannot feel what you say. Insincerity is ugly. And if someone is repulsive of ugly animals or people it is just the way they feel, some people can ignore ugly looks, others cannot...Some people are easily impressible others are not..there is nothing evil in it.

Cries, sniff, sniff. It was his personality that we loved about him... and the fact that we could bury him in a shoe box.

Yes he did poor baby.

I must admit I used to say there was no such thing as an ugly dog, then a freind of mine aske was I sure and sent me the link to his picture and I almost fell out of my chair, and e-mailed him back that I could be wrong---there could be such as thing as an ugly dog. Well he brought his owner much happiness despite how he looked and that is the whole point so beauty is as beauty does.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

Poor thing!! He looks like he woulda been a fighter. Not as in scrapping, but holding on. He had many things wrong with him and to live the ripe young age of 15, says alot about his will to live. Also about the care that his owner gave him. My heart goes out to his owner, Susie! May she find comfort from friends and family across the world during this sad time.

**I dont think she realized how much love there was out there for lil Sam.

R.I.P. Sam!!
