There are 50 some eagle's nests south of me.
One can get permission from the Wildlife preserve manager to sit and study them.

Oh my goodness ... they are sooooo CUTE!! I could sit here and watch them for hours.

North of where i live is a river called the Gulkana River ... i went there years ago with my family and floated the river for a whole week, camping along the way. We came to this canyon type area and perched way up on the sides of the canyon walls were many, many eagles nests. You could look up into the sky and at any given time see at least 25 of em flying around above my head. They would dance together in the sky then free fall with in feet of hitting the water, skim acrossed it and right back up they go again. It was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen. Prior to that i had never seen eagles in numbers like that. Just amazing!
