Lotus, that was a catty and b!tchy thing to say. It's hard for me to believe your apology is sincere and not just a "political" move to keep the heat off of yourself. Although I have disagreed with certain comments you have made to others and your approach at times, I have always seen you as someone who rightfully has a chip on her shoulder because of all the abuse that has been heaped upon you... someone who is overly defensive because of past events. I can honestly say that reading that post has changed my opinion of your character for the worse. I will keep an open mind and look to your future actions, but it is obviously clear that if you have that little control over your own dark side you have no business counceling others on their spiritual behaviors.I have enjoyed all of our positive interactions and I hope to have many more, however, if you attack Pixie again while she is pregnant I will never speak to you again, and I hope that others would also take that stand. Thank you for that support Mystic Melody. Remember way back when we 'met' it was under a similar circumstance.I feel the way you feel about the apology, and i did read in another thread that she was admonishing someone for not apologizing, and then lo and behold, I see an apology from her on this thread... but at least it is something. She was thinking about it and had some sort of conscience. I do think it had more to do with the 'public-ness' of this thread, and the very obvious and overt rudeness she showed, with no egging on in the first place.. and it showed her with egg on her face. It was more a self preservation move than one designed to soothe me or with any honour to it....... In saying this, while I do see all those things, and I agree, and I thank you for speaking out about it.. it's still something and I am going to let it go. I'm glad though that it has made you or others perhaps more cautious about character... and the clarity sometimes that the curtains are peeked back and when everyone else is looking, someone is quiet, but when heads are turned, an antagonizing na-na-na-na-na replaces the quiet. Knowing is half the battle. ( To quote an afterschool special) IP: Logged |

pixelpixieFor those counting, I had a VERY vivid dream that my baby was a boy. We'll see.... I didn't have those until much later with my other babies. * shrugs* ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Pix, I also dreamed about the the sex of my first child. It was the night before I was going to have my first ultra-sound done to determine the age of the fetus. I remember before I went to sleep that night, all I could think about was if the technician would be able to tell me if the baby was going to be a boy, or a girl. In the dream that I had, a doctor handed me a stick- like the one you take for a pregnancy test. The color of the stick was pink and the doctor said, "The baby is too young yet to see the sex in an ultrasound, but- it's a girl!" I awoke with full knowledge that the dream was correct! When I had the ultrasound done, the fetus was too young to determine the sex, but I just smiled, knowing I already knew. Katie was born 7 months later.

With Daniel, my second and youngest, I only looked at boy names- The funny thing is, The doctor that told me Katie was a girl showed up during this pregnancy also. Not to inform me of the sex, but that the Keflex that I was taking was causing my yeast infection- LOL Hmmm wonder if the doctor was actually my subconscious and if so, why Male?

Hiya pix I'm so happy for you -- I remember how happy I was when I was pg..... I dreamed about my boy about 15 years before he actually came along -- I remember the birth, and his light-colored hair distinctly from the dream..... I remembered the dream all those 15 or so years, and as the years went by, with no candidates for Father, I gave up on the dream and I was OK with the prospect of never being a mom. But it seems I was just a late bloomer {{love & hugs}} K'Z IP: Logged |

It's not too late for congratulations! Thank you! Thanks for the encouragement, Charlotte and Azalaksh!!!! My first pregnancy boy dream was similar to yours.. except instead of a stick, a Doctor showed me a screen .. a wall of televisions... and on it was a little baby, with kinky hair and it was a boy.. and he was saying It's a boy. And it was. And likewise, with my second, I just knew she was a girl, right from the get-go. Maybe the 'Doctor' is your spirit guide? Or he represents someone from your youth who showed you compassion and was 'smart'.. therefore he comes to tell you news of great import, in a believeable fashion. Because he has authority , as he is a 'Doctor', and you trust him! Zala.. late bloomer or not, you haven't stopped blooming like an amazing flower. IP: Logged |

Pix, It is amazing to talk with someone who also had a dream of the sex of their baby before birth, nice to know I'm not the only one... You know I also knew right away that I was preggers, I had this weird stinging in my uterus and mood swings to rival Patty Duke Aston- LOL- I'm usually pretty mellow. I just felt this enormous energy and had to find outlets for it, I was very defensive and had quite a number of arguments that I normally would have been able to shrug off. When I told my OBGYN about the stinging sensation, he told me that it was the embryo embedding itself in the uterus wall, He also told me that only a few women had ever told me that they had felt that taking place. We Knowflakes are pretty darn cool, Pix you are very intuitive and so are a number of others who belong to this site. I think you may be on to something about the 'Doctor' being my spirit guide, I've heard his voice on a number of occasions upon waking throughout my life. Hmmmm, good idea for a topic over at Universal Codes-LOL Can't wait to see if your dream was correct, but have an idea that we already know... Hugs! Char
