If it helps... I started showing at around 3 months. It was a little pot-belly, but it was there... enough to keep me from wearing any pre-pregnancy clothes. "My" sickness didn't happen until around my 5th month... then I lost a few pounds... then I gained again from 6 months on. Anyway... what I'm trying to say is... yes, we are all different and our bodies all react a little differently than someone elses. (Which you already knew... but never hurts for someone to agree). Good luck to you and enjoy your pregnancy. You should be finding out the sex soon, right? lotus, I've seen the bickering and spats between you and others on here... but come on... can you just try? (NOTE: I'm not saying that others haven't started in you at times either) You don't have to agree or have everyone else agree with you, just let them be. It's rude to come in here and try to steal someone's thunder when it's something pretty special. I'm not judging (even though it's going to sound like it) but you need to learn to let grudges go. Be happy for someone. ______________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

Wow. Thanks Charlotte, AG, Lovely and 1scorp for the support. I got my blasting in there, no worries.I am really tired of contrary opinions on something natural that you have very little control over. AND I find the ones who don't really know or understand always seem more contrary and louder because they want to appear as if they do know... But I know she only came on here because of a silly grudge. She always likes to pick apart any post of mine she sees, simply to give herself some attention. ....As if a three month old fetus is half an inch...... Why even bother? I have an ultrasound booked for October 12... so let's hope the baby co operates and I get to see what I am having! I'm looking forward to it. It's funny though.. people will say... "Are you showing?" When you say.. 'yeah, I've started to pooch out a little bit' a lot of them go "Already?" OKay, if you are going to disbelieve me, why even ask? And why would I say I am if I weren't? Do you think I enjoy showing strangers my pot belly? It is one of those things I think only a currently pregnant woman understands, or someone with a good memory. The only one who attracts more attention and opinions is a woman with a new baby. Anyway. thanks for your support, I appreciate it. Most of all, thanks for the understanding. I can't stand trying to force reason into a sociopath. 1scorp.. you were sick after the fifth month? That sucks! I have been feeling better lately, but every once and a while, I am struck by a violent smell aversion.. or the idea of eating something I'd normally love makes me sick. It's kinda funny. But I lOVE being pregnant! I'm looking forward to the next few weeks especially. IP: Logged |

I was under the impression that the more children a woman had, the earlier she began to show. I know one woman who tells me that with her second child she was as big at 3 months as she was at 5 months with the first. I began noticing a belly around the end of my 4th month and this is my first. So pixel's situation seems perfectly normal to me.Also, common sense would indicate that the thinner a woman is the more visible the early pooch. Some already have a pooch, don't they? Hope you're feeling well, pixel. IP: Logged |

Lotusheartnone- quote: EDIT..there was an apology..but you only see what you want to..and everything happens for a reason...
I see you've ammended your post after the fact. I have your original incorporated into my original blasting post back to you. So I see that not only did you not apologize, but you think I take your original apology seriously? It wasn't an apology, it was an incredulous and sarcastic statement. You said; quote: yeh..A half inch growth shows so much???LMAO hehe..I was just informed..it's not even a half an inch yet..LMAO even more. ... Congratulations. ...
Okay I apologize..but Come On..really?
Like me saying something like.. "I'm sorry, but you are a very stupid individual." See, I didn't really apologize, I incorporated pity into an insult, as YOU did. I of course, am not actually saying this to you, it is an example. You see, if I were saying it to you, I would make sure it was a bit more obvious.AND you had the gall to sneak it in.... Well.. I will let this go, now that I have seen your ammended post.... but I must say.. the next time you choose to say nothing but negatives and untruths, and still try to pretend to hold yourself to deity status, you can remember how wrong you have always been about anything concerning me, and how you purposefully find something to disparage people you are obsessed with, and you go out of your way to not have any facts before you spew negativity. You are not a deity, you don't have any answers, you need to humble the eff out and control yourself. Stay out of my way. Get off my threads. If you think you have something of value to add, go for it..actually, don't.. because I don't trust your value judgements.. they're too full of judgements and less value. If you come on here to say something untrue, remember the mirror that points right back to you with every lie you pretend is the truth. Oh, and bite me. IP: Logged |

swear this is not bullshat. but two days after i became pregnant, i knew it. i could feel my body working differently. but it's a fact, the uterus expands more rapidly with 2nd 3rd children. each one more quickly than the other. so it may not be the fetus causing the bump, but the uterus and extra fluids supporting it's growth. And the after birth pains get worse after subsequent births too because your body purposely produces more oxytocin to contract the uterus down to its normal size. the human body is awesome, isn't it. Yes lovely, I hear you.. and I totally agree. I remember the afterpains, and I recently even read about it. This pregnancy is so different, and I responded so quickly. Thanks for the comments. No problem Pidaua, no one's fault...Thanks for the sincere congrats! Frankly, I'm pretty hormonal lately, not much sets me off.. but I'm quick to apologize once I realize i'm being silly. Certainly not in this case. I needed to vocalize. IP: Logged |

Pix..Ohhh you have been doing the nasty.. LOL!!!Babies are such a blessing congrats to you.. Pink or blue girl or boy it will definetly be a bundle of joy!!! I tried to calculate your birth time from your post and if I am close it might be a Pisces baby..Am I close.. If your intuition is like mine and Scorps are good like that as Pisces you should be able to feel deeply the sex of the baby.. I knew both times that my babies were boys, I never had a ultra-sound with either one, not to determine the sex that is.. Good for you.. IP: Logged |

Thanks Mama Mia! Getting busy? Omigosh... Do you remember the 'second trimester' effect? Well.. it's been that way from the get-go. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..... gotta love the extra blood flow.I thought immediately.. 'boy' as did my husband... I am not so sure right now.... I haven't had any dreams about the sex yet. I had 'boy' dreams during my first pregnancy... and no ultrasound then, and yes, he was a boy. I knew right away that my girly was a girl... and the ultrasound confirmed it. I'll let you know ...... I do have an U/S booked. Hopefully the munchkin cooperates. Yep.. Pisces, I am sooooooooo excited about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |

Lioneye! Why thanks! You make good people ( person) yourself! Were we trying? Hmmmm..... We played 'forget the condom until the last possible second, oh never mind, just pull out when time is near' games.. but it was ( I thought) during ( maybe) safe times. We practiced the 'oops' method, with great success!I don't want a baby names thread, I have too many options as it is, and I have Libra placements.. foggeddabouddit. OKay, I do like to hear new ones........ Aqua! awww, thanks, things are going well.... be in the second trimester ( depending on who's counting) in a few days. But I am out of the 'danger' zone.. I had a good feeling from the start, else I would't have told anyone. ( I need to yell out when I am happy anyway) I'm not a very good Scorpio when it comes to sharing my feelings. I share them. Lotusheartone. Thank you for the apology. Accepted. I appreciate that, I don't believe you have ever countered a negative toward me... ever. IP: Logged |

You dreamed of the sex of the baby? Were you accurate with your other children? I remember having a dream like that also... mine was correct. lotus: __________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

Yes, I was accurate with my others! The only thing was.. it was MUCH later in the pregnancy. I didn't have an ultrasound with my first ( I don't really know why, and I never pressed for one) But I did dream he was a boy, toward the end of pregnancy. My girl.. I knew immediately, we always refered to her as our daughter, and the ultrasound confirmed it. So..... We'll see. I've been wrong about many things. So if I am, no problem. I was saying all last week that I think it's a girl.... but then this dream....... October 12, we'll see. IP: Logged |
