Cracking Open the Past
First, it may be remote but Cripple Creek, Colo., is like a mecca to followers of a famous astrologer who lived in the small mountain town until the day she disappeared into thin air. When Janice and Rick Wood moved into her 1898 brownstone, they were astonished at what they found inside. Next, the 1700s Colonial of Maryan and Jeffry Muthersbaugh was so dilapidated they were happy just to get the layers of outrageous wallpaper down. So imagine their surprise when they discover their home has a link to old Hollywood and a mysterious safe. Then, when Robert Williams and Heike Grigsby first find pieces of glass in the attic of their 1899 Victorian in Montgomery, N.Y., they figure they have a lot of cleaning up to do. When the glass is held up to the light they discover it is not trash at all—and that is just the beginning. Finally, we return to the Muthersbaughs' house to see an expert safe-cracker open that basement safe.

I can't find it within my TV guide listings!! There were a few that didnt have the episode title or description so i set those to record (since they air at like 2am) .... but those are after the 29th .... so we'll see what i get. I really hope this episode is one of the ones i have schedule to record. I'ma be bummed if its not.

I just watched the show (sorry I couldn't have recorded it)....*Sigh*

Pretty intresting but much too short.....

A beautiful black velvet dress was found (a classic that will never go out of style {I could just see Linda wearing it])....and it just fit the current lady of the house....

They also found some jewelry (I particularly noticed a beautiful turquoise necklace)....and the current owners were also impressed with an address book found with names in it like Tony Bennet, Wayne Newton, (for those who recorded it, you can fill in the blanks, cuz I can't remember them all now...*sigh*)

Oh yes, they also found the complete manuscript for SUN SIGNS.....

Anyway, I'm so glad I got to see it....

Thanks Thorshammer and Starry Eyes!!!!!
