Mystic Melody,

It upset me to see one of my most favorite people on this forum is sick.

Without going int to too much detail I take it you are feeling better?

The virus will have it's way with you for a bit, run it's course and you will be fine.

I smiled seeing you are running off to post while in hospital.

St. Francis Peoria is a nice hospital, I have been there a number of times.

Bless you, feel better.

I am home. I owe you a real reply and so many others after you who I had so much to say to, but was too tired to type to a few days ago!

Well, the first thing I did was to get the names of the movies and write them on a paper to take to the local video store. No luck. The Secret is some special rare thing that is hard to find and the other is probably too new to be properly circulated. So, I am without the wisdom of your wonderful movie suggestions.
Next, I will tell you that I haven't checked out your links but I have been drinking prune juice. That's sort of along the same lines, yes?
The day I read your prayer from St. Theresa I really needed to hear it and I was sitting with tears streaming in the hospital hallway at the "visitor" computer. I'm glad you looked up St. Francis. His prayer is special. I have a copy right in front of me and would type it, but I am really super tired lately. I want to type a few more replies tonight at least! I had a slight headache today and it was very upsetting... not because it hurt much compared to others, but because it ominously could be the headaches coming back. This would mean another spinal tap and that is just a depressing outcome. I think that thanks to all of you here on this board I am looking at things with more strength, but I'm still a little crabby I guess.
Well, I get to reply to pretty Zala next I think...
Steve, you are one of my favorite people too. Thank you.

Oh, Zala, you are so warm and sincere. Thank you for sharing your kindness with me. A prayer chain? How considerate!!!! And special. It seems everyone has been going that extra mile in their fashion.
I always thought I was tolerated and sometimes enjoyed here but knowing that special someone's like the friends who are here would miss me and send healing wishes to me is quite the gift. I will keep it with me for a long time.
I really liked what was said on the Unicorn pic, as I feel a sisterhood with you, Zala, and have since the first few times we communicated. Thanks for sharing the beautiful art and your fiery, green-eyed, romantic vision/version of me. Nothing like a little fire to keep a girl going.

Neph, The pressure in my head was SO great that I hardly knew where I was or what day it was. I didn't even WATCH the final Big Brother or the final ROCKSTAR!!! It's unbelievable to me after watching EVERY show and taping all but the first three and then missing the last show. I was in another world. There are many stories from relatives about me not recognizing them or saying some VERY strange things to them the first two days I was at the hospital the first time a few weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure I've heard that Lukas won, but I wish I could have seen it. And I wish I could have taped their performances. I guess I can go online and try to find the performances when I have the energy!!!
I haven't even read the RockStar thread yet, but I will!!!!
Thanks for thinking of me and noticing that I was gone!!! I hardly noticed I was gone, so it's good that you did! hehe I guess you can tell how out of it I was since I missed the last shows.

Thank you, Pixie Dust.

You are so sweet, Pixel Pixie. Thanks for stopping in! You know it means a lot to me.

Mirandee, how kind of you to share some love, I won't forget it!!

Silverstone, thank you so much, those simple words had a real effect on me. The Robert Frost quote was especially meaningful in context. Thanks again.

Wednesday, well what a nice time to talk. Thank you for taking your time. A real rainbow, now that is special. I sometimes only catch those in the water hose when filling my little girl's pool. I really love seeing one magestically draped across the horizon.

Peri, thank you for sharing your well wishes and spreading some light too.

Lotus, thanks again, I really hope I am putting in the work required for this healing challenge. Wish me luck!!!

AG and Lia, yes, the illness has a strange life of it's own. It's hard to tell what causes what. Lia, since I was in the neurology department it's not really the muffled sounds of the nurses, as much as the loud sounds of the poor people with head injuries pushing their call buttons over and over and over and over and over and over all night or those who are loudly trying to leave for their "appointments" until security comes to remind them that they have to stay. (Of course it was full moon a few days ago.)

Oh, Lia, I really do hope this is going to find me emerging with a new sense of strength. I was wondering what exactly I was getting that I had prayed for... I figured it had to be SOMETHING.

It was so hard to be away from Rosie. I think it was a good experience for her, except the part where she first watched me go to the hospital, moaning. She told someone that those are the "low moans that your mom makes when she is dying". That is really hard.
I think I have her convinced that even if I die I will always be with her and that I might even come back some day as HER daughter which pleases her to no end. hehe It has been a challenge to handle all of this correctly when I haven't really been around and I have been so tired, but I'm giving it a go.
AG, thanks for bad-mouthing those skeeters for me. They aren't even positive that it what it is for sure, I have a new diagnosis that they have added to it that is called Psuedo-tumor cranial or cranium, something like that. It is something that is caused by the encephalitis or if it was something other than encephalitis to begin with. Either way, it probably means more lumbar punctures/spinal taps for a while. I might be able to avoid those if I get down to about 125 pounds so I guess that's the goal.
Hmmmmm.... blindness and deafness and chocolate cake or sit-ups? Guess it's the sit-ups.

Mystic ~ I just KNEW something was wrong when I was the first one to reply at the Rockstar thread during the final weeks. Usually I was the last to reply, and always a few days after the show (since I am so busy with school and work at that time). So anyhow, I did really wonder what happened to you, and then when you didn't show up for such a long time, I really began to worry!!!! Well it's good to hear from you and see you posting, and I hope that you get better soon.
Just curious if you were SURPRISED that Lukas won, or if you expected it.

Anyhow I hope you get better soon.

All best, ~ N.

Kamilla, I look at your cards almost every day.

DayDreamer Thank you, your gesture means a lot!

Stargazer, what a great name! I can't wait to read more of your thoughts. Thank you for reading mine!!!

Focused Chi, it's such a BIG hospital, don't you think? It's a wonder I ever found my way out of there. Well, I feel closer and more connected knowing you have been there. It's very nice to hear from you again!

Pidaua, thanks so much, I guess I'm not much good for stimulating conversation lately but hopefully we can have a nice "share" soon!

Abo, Nice to "meet" you! How kind of you to send some healing light and love. I love it here at LindaLand, it's so beautiful.

Hsc, sorry you are stressed. How was sis's wedding? Pretty? I hope you found a special connection within all that "forced family fun". Thanks for the love, it nourishes me and heals me. Love to you right back.

Bluemoon, thanks for the beautiful picture. It's nice to be reminded that I am connected to a greater source of strength. Bless you!

Thanks for the book, Steve. Arnold has some new and interesting views that are worth a read. Lately I have been only interested in eating fruit and vegetables or things like vegetable soup etc. so a lot of what he is saying makes some sense. I haven't been very hungry and while in the hospital my aunts often ordered things for me to get me to eat because I would only order drinks on my tray like teas, coffee, and lots of juices. I find Arnold's view's interesting but I don't find all of it clear because I am lacking in some science background. I think he was referencing engineering and chemistry for a while. hehe Or something confusing like that. The lungs are the pumps and the heart is the valve etc also was something that seemed key to his opinion but was something I admit I had to gloss over after a few minutes because it just isn't clicking in my reduced concentration state of mind. But, I'm assuming you don't think he should be followed like a master, but that I should simply glean a general understanding from his unusual Aquarianish theories.
OH! I have something to tell you.
When I was leaving my third MRI, (my sister was with me for this one) the MRI techie guy was super impatient and weird. I was all laid back Libra with Cappie moon, and my sis was all 'caring about me and how I might feel at his impatience' Cancer, with her protective, fiery Sag moon. She was getting really annoyed with this guy and I finally interupted his chaotic non-stop stressful chatter with a blunt:
Are you an Aquarius?
It was hilarious because he was stunned and quiet and practically whispered, "Yes, how did you Know that??"
I was giggling for quite a while after that. It was a lucky one because usually I would have guessed an ascendant and they would have just thought I was wrong, you know...

Oh, anyway, I am interested in doing a bit of a "fast" with just fruits and fruit juices but I guess I would probably have canned soup with a little meat sometimes so it will be a lot less like a "fast" and a lot more like just eating well. A one day fast might be interesting though.
