You are all so lovely and fashionable and smell nice, too!
Find me or create some rough n ready urban wilderness clothes/protection that are functional enuff to survive in yet fashion fabulous. I am 6' female blonde, curvy not voluptuous. 34" inseam.
I love soft shimmery floaty angel scents and pedicures with silver sandles HOWEVER anymore my life and to keep my body safe is jungle fatigue or desert storm meets whale rider in the scary ghetto fashion-
Any warrior fashion designers? I need a makeover...luv, Tux

but i know all about class

i usually buy branded stuff from Ross....where i can get it for like 1/3 the price. and its good quality stuff. don't care for the 'current trends'. i just pick up stuff tht i like and wud like to believe tht my style is 'timeless'
i usually go for black, blue, green, purple...all the non-girly colors....black is simply my all time fav

can't afford them, but pieces by alber elbaz (sp?), and the oliver theskyns (sp?) i can't spell any of their names...and alexander mcqueen!!! i just LIKE fashion for the asethetic part of it...things i'd actually wear are much understated like calvin klein. it depends on my mood but i love whatever's comfortable....(Taurus Sun, Mercury, Jupiter)...& love the color of rich wine and sultry fabrics, etc. (Scorpio Moon). I don't think I play with my looks enough.

i don't see what's so great about vicotria secrets either...there are much better brands for lingerie

Yes you'd be surprised how all the hip stuff is in Target, which is where it should be bought, no point on spending big money on seasonal stuff. However I admit I'm a bit of a dag and very casual, unfeminine, don't really like dressing up and it is so hard to wear anything where I live: Sag Venus. I try to wear stuff that doesn't change seasonally as I couldnt be bothered keeping up with the trends. I did it when I was a teenager and it is all-consuming and you never win, you never get ahead.

I like the armani suit. However the good suits always seem to be the tailored one and I suppose Armani can tailor one on you from the store.

I also like gucci shoes and bags. I was going to be buy a Gucci bag last month when I was in HK but couldn't find the right one. Of course, the good stuff is where I live where you pay duty . HK would be paradise for you Neptune.

Bought partner LV wallet and coin purse for xmas last night. He chose the wallet but the coin surprise is an added surprise for him.

Would love a Gucci bag for xmas but don't think I'll be getting one for some reason

What is HK abbreviated for? Where is it? What does it sell (besides Gucci & LV)? Only premier designers? Of course I don't own anything yet, but I have collected saksfifth avenue catalogs since I was 14, and I collect Vogue now too, and I do like Gucci, i like their classic monogram bags, as well as some of their floral spring bags, and their leather bags are pretty chic as well. Heres are some really nice valuable sites to buy louis vuitton at (of course I haven't bought any yet, but I do look at them and envision my own style) www.eluxury.com (online LV boutique, only one on the WWW/Internet) and www.efashionhouse.com (eFH also sells CHANEL too)

23, since were on the topic of fashion, what do you think of this comment (taken from my thread "Mean Green" on the astrology board)

quote:
In order to make enough money and/or find a sugar daddy to support exquisite taste, you probably need to spend less time hanging around LL (obviously, a wrong place to look for sugar daddy...lol) and researching your synastries with celebrities... .
Hope you are not offended I am a Chanel addict myself. Actually, don't you think Chanel is a bit too serious for your age ? I see more of Juicy Couture and Betsy Johnson in your chart

I really felt that it was in a way ignorant and mostly (not all) based off assumption. What your honest opinion of it?

Well everyone tries to get by in life. Marrying well does help but its really just a luck thing, you either meet them or don't.

If I had my way, I would be wealthy from my own work, then you can afford those things and get the satisfaction that you can get them through hard work. I have experienced both a bit, and I can tell you that you appreciate things more that you have gotten through hard work.

But I think that "birds of a feather" flock together, so in order to meet rich people, you have to be near them.

As for fashion, your choice really. Its just all a matter of what you like. A lot of teens like urban hip, eg Juicy but some go for classic styling. I was as a teenager in some ways conservative classic dressing at times, eg nice scarves, berets, classic pieces.

I could see why you would want the chanel, I think it has something to do with the artistic appreciation your moon might have. Plus Libs are classic dresses. My step-mum in law is a libran and very classic, a lot of creams, same gold jewellery, silk, make up always on. C Zeta-Jones has the quality about her. I think you said you had lib 2nd house so it might come from that, ie Chanel Tweeds.

my chart does speak chanel, but i think my venus semi-sextile uranus and uranus trine AC, definitely has an affect on the fashion I like (uranus does), because at times I like loose, free flowing clothes, tunics, chiffon, definitely things that are uninhibited, this is a little something that I like http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=11242582&SectionID=5000
it definitely has a fresh, neat silhouette to it,
these shoes and handbag make it nice: http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=11025705&SectionID=9000
http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=10907327&SectionID=9000

these accessories definitely accent it: http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?SectionID=9000&styleid=11342233
http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=11175391&SectionID=9000

STYLE, style style,

rate my style 23. give me your opinion of it, the stuff that i posted..

I'd also look to venus and its aspects. Semi-sex aspect is quite a weak aspect. Ura trine ASC would just add a bit more urban alternative hippness to your perception by others, I don't think it would alter your dress sense as such. I have nep trine asc and I wouldn't say I am a romantic or soft dresser.

Dress - nice but needs jazzing up, maybe a belt or better still, tailored fitting
Shoes - I'd go slight heels, maybe thin wedge. Flat shoes are too dress down. White shoes aren't my thing either, they can make feet look big and dirties easy. Id go for a bronze/gold
Bag - ok but again bronze/gold. Maybe a drawstring or sunbag.

Verasace sunnies - surprised at how understated they are, quite like them
Earrings - not to my taste but I can see how others would like them

Still overall well but I would coordinate the bags/shows to the sunnies etc. The white against gold tones seem a bit fractured to me.

Tip: the wealthiest never show off the labels of their goods - think Hermes.

No offense N5, but I don't let society dress me.
I love the stuff at www.thaicraftwarehouse.com especially the fisherman's pants.
Loose and two sizes too big.
Jeans, the kind that last ten years and I actually wear them out myself!
Definatly loose.

23, thanks for your opinion and personal analysis , but I meant for the outfit to be understated, and I like to mix white with a lot of things, also since my skin is medium brown in color, white looks good with me, and also I like flats because I generally like to show off my natural height. 5'4, i think its beautiful, even though i'm a lover of high-heeled blahniks, sometimes i think its ugly to always walk around in stiletto's that seem giraffe like compared to your real height.

and your tip, i've known that since 14 when i started collecting saks catalogs and researching saks. And honestly, i thought that the earrings were a just a TINY bit tacky because they weren't karat gold or diamond.

Stilletos not necessary with first dress, at least not the Blahnik kind. Something with just a bit of elevation, maybe an inch or so.

Whether you like white or not is up to you. Personally I just don't like it. I dont think it suits most people but could work on you.

The second dress is beautiful but an empire line is always good. For us mere mortals, might be best if it falls slightly below the knees.

This dress could pull off white shoes provided they are a bit strappy to suit the finess of the dress. Btw I cant open the shoe link. Bag ok maybe something.

Earrings again not to my taste
