Hello!!!!I finally have an opportunity to say thank you for all the well wishes, greetings and welcomes.
Elliot is wonderful. He is sincerely a great baby! His job right now is to establish my milk supply and he takes it seriously.... so I am always holding him ( which comes naturally anyway, with 'attachment parenting'.. it just feels right) I have become quite adept at nursing on the go... he's so light he fits right in one arm. I am getting a sling/baby wrap this weekend, and it will be great to continue life this way, but with both hands free, yet still holding him.
Needless to say, it's hard to update with only one hand to type with. Thank you so much, I wish I could name all the names, but it's too much to type, each one has touched me, and I appreciate it.. so if you've sent a lovely greeting, I send a lovely and heartfelt thank you. IP: Logged |

awww....i love a baby in a baby sling...they are so happy in there, close to mama's heart...just like before they emerged in the world. when babies cry it's because they don't understand the sudden separation from mama, after living in such close, constant comfort with her for nine months....  This was actually two days ago.. but don't you think he looks so much like a boy?
Like, he looks like my daughter when she was born, feature wise, but with a boy-ness to him.
My first boy was a beautiful baby, very fair , and he could pass for a girl when he was older even.. but he had a masculine 'look' abour him. This little guy too.
Gosh, it's all so fascinating to me. And look at how proud his big sister is.
I just liked the composition of their profiles together.
 He's such a great baby.. even if my breasts don't know a moment without him. My hubby jokes that when he lost the umbilical cord, he had to stay connected somehow....
He's doing his job perfectly well, and he didn't even read the newborn manual! IP: Logged |
