LOL Pid, If I am here another 20 years I will be 81! I'll probably be sitting here at my computer in diapers, still talking but forgetting most of what I said and why I said it.

I have a feeling that you and Bear's marriage will last as long as ours. I sensed from his posts that he is a good man with a good heart. You both share a strong conviction to your principals and values and are willing to make sacrifices for them. I think that is a wonderful common bond to have as a basis for a marriage. That is also a common bond that my husband and I have. Mainly it's a good basis for a relationship because that is the driving force in all of our daily choices and in all we do. Resentment and anger tend to build up in a marriage where one partner may feel they have to compromise what they hold dear in how they want to live their life.

Yeah, there were moments and twice in our marriage we thought of throwing in the towel. Then we talked about things. We aired our feelings to each other. We worked it out. No marriage is perfect and ours certainly hasn't always run smoothly. But that is what helps it to grow and become better through the years.

We communicate well with each other. In fact, that is what I liked about him before I fell in love with him. I met him when I as only 12 years old. I moved into his neighborhood and he and my older brother became friends. He and I also became friends and we used to sit on my porch talking for hours. That was before we even started dating. We were just good friends. We started dating when I was 16 and I married him at 19.

I wish I knew the "essence" of our companionship outside of love and accepting the other person as they are. We do share things in common but we are also individuals with different interests. We are supportive of each other. We also have our spats but we don't stay angry at each other. He is very mild tempered. I am on the most part but have a short fuse. lol

If you guys want I can give you both of our birth data and maybe you can find something in our charts that explain our compatibility outside of what I know, we are both water and earth. He is Virgo, Scorp moon, Virgo asc. I am Taurus, Pisces moon, Cancer asc. I have a lot more fire in my chart than he does. He is mostly earth. His sun, mercury, venus mars, and jupiter are all in Virgo and his ascendent. His Chiron is in Virgo too. He is a true Virgo. One thing I noticed about our charts is that we both have everything on the left side of the chart. I have no idea if that means anything or not. Just noticed it.

HI, you have merc in 3rd...no wonder !!! tht's one of the best placements you can have...you r really big on communication. merc aspected by jupiter could also mean that you like to talk about your beliefs and ideals, and pluto sextiling merc pretty much explains the title of this thread

Mirandee....about you being surprised tht you agree with Madonna....people have surprised me so many times that now i have just given up trying to 'classify' them. and more often than not i find something that i can relate to, something that makes me like them in spite of (or may be because of) all our differences.

LOL.... I will be joining you in the diaper wearing, forgetful department LOL... It seems we must leave this world the way we entered it but the journey is well worth it.

Thank you for what you said about Bear and I. It made me choke up a bit. I am absolutely in love with him and being apart is worth it in the long run because we'll still have that lifetime together.

I understand what you mean about resentment. When someone feels they are doing all the compromising it becomes a hotbed of resentment. I don't feel I am compromising in any way and I can't harbor any ill-feelings about the Military. Being with Bear has given me so many blessings that outweigh any of the drawbacks.

It's also a blessing to hear from women like you that have had such a excellent marriage and are as in love (if not more) today as they were when they first mate their best friend / husband

I have followed Madonna's career right from the beginning & sometimes with much surpise also!!! Boy, do I have some stories!!!LOL!!

But this Tour of her's really made me cry & inspired me in so many ways, to stay connected & not fall back to sleep, to let my LIGHT SHINE BRIGHT!!! This is her FEAR also, is to lose this connection, now that she feels it also!!! She is LEO the SUN!!! COURAGE!!! This is the reflection I get from her the RAYS of LIGHT!!! This tour showed how much Madonna has really grown though the yrs!!! Her Father & Stepmom also went on this tour & her Father is the one that really made me cry!!! The way he see's his daughter & how she has grown & what part he played in all this!!! It's just so beautifully connected!!!Tears of JOY!!!

Anyways, I almost last this connection with mys-Elf & the rest of the world also!!!

Perhaps, specially when the person is a newbie, some women don't like it when other women are AWs but will tolerate it once they get to know the person and they see there is nothing to fear about.
It is quiet stupid to use that in a message board though but some of us are human and just can't help it.

Others just get terrofied when people talk about things that makes them uncomfortable.

Others may want to just pick on something the person does if he/she is not liked already.

Who knows, I am still a newbie here and still trying to get to know people.
