So how do you get to lindaland when you do?

Is it a shortcut on your Desktop?

Is it a boomark/favorite in your list?

Do you know another site with a link to it that you use?

Do you google "lindaland" and click the link on the very top of the stack?

What's YOUR favorite teleport spell to Lindaland?

I used to google to lindaland before I met this very obliging Newfoundland named Chester who lets me ride on his back to Lindaland as long as I don't put a saddle on him. It's much more cushy than a piggyback ride. Luxuuuurious is the word.

I like to find the nearest rainbow and slide down it.

Kind of like a Care Bear.

It's on the quick link bar on top of the page, right under the web address bar.

I just type "Li" in my browser. BTW, you can google or Yahoo or use most any other major engine with "Linda Goodman" and get us at the very top.

I had it saved on my aol top favorites screen until my aol decided to quit working for me anymore through my personal lap top.

So now I am using internet explorer and same as Randall I just type "li" and just pick one of the searches, so ...sometimes I come in through the front door and sometimes through a window
But I always get here

It's in the address bar of my url address browser window.

That's how I go to most sites I go to. I can't stand using "bookmarks" or "favorites" (depending on what browser you use) because then you have to scroll and search forever.

I also can't standing searching 'cos that takes forever too.

Yes, I can be pretty impatient, and my time on I-net is always in a rush..........just popping in and out!

LL is very close to the top of my favorites list which proves how very long I have been hanging out here. The list has grown long on that favorites list.

Although I like both Daf and NosiS and Zanya's way of getting here better.

I do the same thing as Randall. But from time to time I clear out my history/cache etc, then I have to search it on Yahoo. LOL

At home I use my categorized favorites. It's in a folder within my favorites, so it's faster than Neph might think.

One person was curious enough to inquire about Chester (the Newfoundland), his nature, health, whereabouts and the circumstances of our meeting.

I thought this was odd, since Chester was only an element of a different topic, and himself tries to shy away from the spotlight.

On point number 1, his nature, Chester is a quite good natured, happy fellow. He is very obliging, often to the point of being imposed upon, and yet it never seems to bother him too much. (It's for just that reason that I try to avoid adding to the impositions.)

Chester is a rather massive Newfoundland, black and quite fuzzy huggable, I would say more so than a shagged out beanbag chair. His eyes are dark, but in a non-threatening, innocent teddy bear way. I'm afraid it's pretty irresistable.

That said, Chester has the ability to travel to different locations throughout the web. If you ride his back, you can go there too. (Although Chester can't abide by a saddle or any sort of riding gear. He says it makes him claustrophobic and itchy. I tried a horse blanket on..and concur.)

Some people Google. I Chester.

As to point number two, his health:

Although he's a Newfoundland, he doesn't shed so much and seems to have gotten his drooling under control (although a large collection of paper towel tubes in his rubbish every Trash Tuesday seems to indicate that night time salivation continues unabated.) He's got more energy than you suspect by first sizing him up. There's a..a child like bounce to his step. He seems healthy..yes.

Chester is currently sitting parked in a site known only by the code name: fleep (Don't ask me, I wasn't the creative genius who picked it.) He says he'd rather people didn't pop in unexpectedly since he likes to hang out in his skivvies.

I'll tell the story of our meeting some day.

Thanks,

daf
