like i said, Randall's sharing here the same process we all go through. he thought to grace Blue Roamer with that phrase, then decided not to, to try to be better. because he's struggling to keep clear with people and issues here, just like the rest of us.he gave us an example of that. it's really a non-issue. Zanya, non-issue though it is, you're beating a dead horse. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." I don't think she would beat a horse anyway, dead or alive.

"God grant us the wisdom to know what is right the courage to choose it and the strength to make it endure."~First Knight My daughter sings this on average 3 times a day, and insists I sing along, on average, once a day. There are kisses and hugs and "I love you"s at the appropriate places. I think it gives me an advantage on the whole feeling the love thing from time to time. Maybe it will bless all of you today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNMxqBqj-5k&feature=related

Thanks for clarifying further, Randall. I don't know if this is the appropriate place to say this as this thread has already gone very off track but ... thank you very much for sharing that, zanya. I find it very sad that anyone would have to share something personal in defense of someone else here. I appreciate your honesty very much and you have succintly illustrated a point that is often easily overlooked. And I do believe that so many of us really try very hard to do the best we can. I agree. I would never have asked Zenya to share this private matter. It took courage, conviction, and maturity to do so. Very admirable. It humbles me. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. I understand and respect where Randall is coming from. He is giving the Mods the ability to give warnings and ban people that cause more problems that contribute. I don't believe it is because we get into arguments or sometimes get angry with each other. Many of us (totally including me) have crossed the line in certain forums (GU). It happens but there are also times when people attack, for no reason other than to start problems, in other forums that are not about debating. Zenya and I have had our run ins, just like I have had with a few others in GU. For the most part we realize our ideals are different yet we still come together in that time of need. For those that think Randall has favorites, your wrong. I was here with a longtime member got banned. He was a friend to many but he deserved what he got (being banned). Randall has given us more free reign that most sites and at times we all take it for granted. Thank you Randall. I agree to your rules. IP: Logged |

*Edited to add*Pid, I think you would be an excellent Mod, by the way! Nobody's perfect, we've all cross the line at some point! As I said also, Randall is very fair and it takes a lot to be banned from LL; Or to remove someone their Moderator status; he also has given knowflakes many chances and has let others returned after being banned. I feel like saying, everyone just STFU, but I won't.See I didn't say it I just *felt* like saying it. KIDDING KIDDING
*edited* I think we should make everyone who's politically conservative a mod. How about Jwhop, Pid, and BUD? They'd make good mods. Shoot, why not just change the website to Bush R US (and some astro stuff too)

Randall, you have my complete support, just as you have for the past eight years. Your patience with a few of the knowflakes posting in this string, and others, is far beyond mine. More power to ya. Walk in Peace IP: Logged |

Greetings...I'm with Ra on this one! So many of these topics make me shake my head. I do want it to be said though that I do find the behavior of certain of the Mods out of line as well, but that is simply my opinion. I believe that we should be held to the same standard as anyone else when we break "the rules" or overstep the bounds of good taste. Again, my opinion. But, as I have said before, it is your site and I will abide by your decisions. I repeat, without you, there would be no LindaLand, let alone Moderators. In the Light... A The opinionated Astrologer

Hi Silverstone . I hope all is well with you. Thank you for the kind words. It looks like the Mod positions have been filled with excellent Knowflakes. I just feel so out of the loop because I didn't see that this was all going on. I've been busy with training and working with the families attached to our Company. We will be moving to Grafenwohr next month and have to get all in order for everyone LOL... Then again, it seems like Saggies work best under hectic (chaotic) conditions IP: Logged |
