In light of the stronger enforcement of the rules, I want to lay down the expectations and do so publically. If you find someone to be out of line in your Forum, issue a warning. After that, if that person persists, e-mail me. I don't want to be like all the other sites on the Net who basically ban at the drop of a hat, but the rule from here on out will be to play nice or play elsewhere. I will make the final decision, but I do hold a lot of weight to what you, my Mods, think. I will (for the time being) handle Global Unity myself.

Will do.

Cheers,

Affirmative.

Question:
If we are at another forum than our own, and the resident Mod isn't around when there is a transgression, should we:
1. go ahead and issue a warning to someone who is out of line
2. wait for the resident mod to arrive then point it out to them
3. email you

??

Thanks,
Zala

No, I`m not a mod but I raised my hand nicely to ask a related question.

History shows a mod can get out of line as well so who does one go to if it is a mod being out of line?

thanks!

Who will guard the guardians?

It all comes down to the same thing, doesn't it? Self-control.

But failing that, Daddy and his big stick will sort it all out.

What's Randall's email address?

And Randall, if you wanted to, you could make this forum for yourself and your friends only, granted, it wouldn't be the same, but you could. The rest of us are simply 'beloved guests', and 'tolerated for entertainment purposes and in the spirit of trying to Love All guests Linda-style', and anyone who doesn't see that is delusional.

You don't have to be perfectly loving, and you don't have to be perfectly tolerant... although you surely do better than anyone I can think of here at this site would do. I've said it before and I'll say it again...
Anyone else, me included, would have been shouting "Off with their heads!!!" a lot sooner and a lot more often than you ever have.

I think all the Love and Light shouters obviously haven't taken the time to center themselves and pray and ask what should be done for the highest and greatest good because with that kind of combined Love and Light, a resolution could have been reached by now.

For example, if it were true that Randall was just reacting in a less than High Energy way in his banning and demotions, then all of the Love and Lighters could have by now sent him enough Loving Energy to cause him to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, clear about the Truth, and whatever actions he was meant to take to "do the right thing" (if that was different than what he has already chosen) would have been clear to him and things would be different.
If enough had aligned their intentions to Truth and surrounded Randall in this Peace, his way would be clear. Writing posts peppered with blue hearts and swinging your own righteous fiery swords isn't cutting it. You want to make a difference? Start loving NOW when it's hard. What's that quote about the speech in anger being the best speech you will ever regret?

Pull up your pants, get your thumbs out of your mouths and do what you are meant to do. You're right, this is it, this is your life, and this is your challenge. What are you going to do about it?! Fight about it!? You can dress it up any way you want, but chocolate covered poo is just chocolate covered poo. It is what it is. And it's time to let the love in.

I've been praying. I hope everyone here at LindaLand will too.

*sitting down Gandhi style and waiting for the possible onslaught*

And as an afterthought to be clear since I read a comment on another thread...

I accepted Mod because I'm not financially able to support LL, so if having "mod" after my name serves Randall in any way, I'll do it. I don't support Randall because I'm a Mod and it comes with the word "Moderator" after my screenname (oooooo), I am a Mod because it in a small way supports LL and Randall, which I lovingly do with joy and appreciation.

Let's do it, Friends. Let's turn this to the Highest form of this energy.

I swear to God I love you all, even those of you who drive me buggy.

I hope you love me too... even if I'm not perfect.

MM you're preaching that people should just love, then you tell them to pull their pants up and get their thumbs out of their mouths?

Excuse me if I think there's a mixed message here.

A very disappointing post from you MM>

Great question! Issue the warning in any Forum, but maybe wait a day or so (unless things get bad). And always e-mail me without hesitation if you feel like you should. I never sleep. My brain is plugged into the hard drive. As far as the moderating the Mods go, I make those decisions. What one person views as corrupt, another may view as liberation.

Dont worry, BR.

Any minute now,
a mod is going to step in
and tell her that insults like that
will no longer be tolerated
(and certainly not encouraged),
regardless of who they are defending.

Its a new day in LL, havent you heard.

My first thought was to just tell you, BlueRoamer, to STFU already. But then I pulled my pants up and took my thumb out of my mouth. It's an analogy, not an insult. Geez! I find it to be quite fitting. Stop complaining about the Energy, guys and gals, and start contributing positive things.
