The rest is probably all covered, I was thinking Numerology, but the problem with that could be it may be too slow, and that's like having one for each one: tarot, chart, runes, crystal Magic, chakra, Palm teachings (when all those can all be in Universal Codes, with the exception of Aselzion's forum concentrating on Tarot)

I liked this idea.  Good, Silverstone. It really jumped out at me and sounds very positive and uplifting. I like the power of sound, silence and music. Well we all love music. It can be about that, and other fantasy related topics, such as angels, fairys, magic, forests, meditations, etc. Get the picture?  That one gets my vote! My only suggestion so far would be an Announcement/Suggestion Box forum. All announcements, birthdays, etc. can go there. The energy at FFA can get agitating so I don't always come here. Hey, Nephthys, I like what you added to it and I agree very uplifting when I revisited it in Star signs Yeah, a focus more on about meditations, spiritual healings, sound, silence and music and more emphasis on gems and crystals would be cool~

Private implies "personal" readings. I think it's a great addition and will kick off quickly when I add Mods to it. I think the numerological implications are important, this being a Linda site and also that being my personal approach to life. ------------------

Randall, I have seen at least one site with a forum devoted exclusively to members, as a place to start your own thread that is similar to a profile. Knowflakes could include their own introduction and then depending on what they wish to share with the public site, *any astrological information
*photo
*written information about themselves, most importantly how they came to Know Linda and what she means/meant to their life and journey
*the story of what led them here and why they chose to make it home
*info on what Linda discussed that calls to them and how they have furthered their studies in those areas and what they wish to discover in those areas
*mundane information that would amount to something of a personal blog area where a person might just journal about their current life's lessons, past issues and challenges they have grown from or are still transcending or just the mood they are in that day and that they discovered a new vegan recipe or that they like toast. Whatever. One of the other sites mentioned in the forum description that the Member should clearly state in their initial post of their own Thread whether comments from other members were encouraged or discouraged on their Thread etc. The members would have to think carefully about their initial Title of their thread because each member should only be allowed to post one thread. So, a Knowflake with the screenname "Randall" for example  would begin a new thread and Title it with "Randall's Ramblings" or something along those lines that is much better than my cheesy example.  The forum might be called "Know the Knowflakes" or something along those lines and you could put your name/thread and Michael if he has a screenname, and any other members who are family/friends of Linda as "sticky" threads that always remained at the top. And one more "sticky" thread at the top with an introduction to the forum which explains how to post there providing a place/thread for contacting the moderators of that forum... or you could just include that as part of your thread. That's my idea Oh, the name of my place would be "The Mystical Campground".

Positive and negative are relative terms, but 20 carries with it a danger. I've always said I'm leaving it at 19 (my birth number), but necessity required another Forum.------------------

I like Mystic Melody's suggestion!
Only because it's apt for a very Astrological themed website, where people ask questions related to Astrology, and naturally, we'd say " what are your placements"
All you'd have to say is ' birth chart posted on "The Mystical Campground"I thought about this... What would I love to see here, where would I post and what would be of benefit to many different cultures?
And while humour and fun appeal to everyone, you can find it all over the boards here ( and if not, I would find it too dry to want to post anyway) This seems like the most logical and necessary and functional *and open ended* forum option.

I like YFIS' suggestion of shared space ~ it could encompass some of the other suggestions on this thread, music for example ~ FFA often has threads where people post up YouTube links, for example ~ a shared space could be somewhere to post links to music as well as learning tools ~ games is another popular FFA topic that could go there ~ leaving FFA as a general discussion area ~ just an idea ~ IP: Logged |
