You know.. I think it would be something to work on when it's frigidly cold here, to be able to think of flowers and early summer once again.Lexx, until I worked on the Sweet Williams one I forgot how Lexi's can transport and alter your mood to a different state -old, ancient, a knotty crooked tree, anemic crisp air with clouds to match. :) I wish more would tune out and try. It's beautifully insightful. Otherworldly similar to poetry, yet even more personal with the unseen and rather just felt. In the mean time, I start working at the orchard more on Friday. The abundance is often replenishing.

If you want help honing it feel free to ask me to help when you are ready! I have a long Lexigram I just have not gotten around to finishing yet since lol, like 2009. It is a Xmas one and I have a tendency to forget about it until the holiday seasons are upon us. IP: Logged |

I can't wait to see it as well! You have a beautiful gift and talent Lexx. When I hear December though I think brrr! Hopefully winter is not as brutal as it was last year. We lost quite a few trees due to the extreme temps. A magnificently old Silver Maple close to the road that made a natural umbrella when the kids stood out for the bus on rainy days. I'm contemplating what I'd like to plant in its place. Evergreens seem to do the best up front and grow fast. We also lost a few poplars and a couple bushes- I had planted years ago for screen and shade, those have yet to be cut down- and replaced with something else too. I get sentimental about it.. It's a bummer when you've watched something grow for years and years, yet are helpless when it comes to Mother Nature. IP: Logged |

Don't remind me about December! We have so much wood to split and stack.. That's all we heat our house with in the winter. It's a lot of work, but has saved us so much $ over the years. We have 3 daughters which entails help with 3 college tuitions, 3 weddings if they go that route, and we try to live comfortably yet within our means. So eliminating the gas company has been really beneficial. I can't wait for Halloween festivities! The spookiest place thus far I've visited around Halloween is Moundsville Prison in WV. It's closed down but open for tours. Even in broad daylight the hair stands up on the back of your neck while going through. I believe they have done those ghost shows there as well. It's creepy. The home I grew up in was "spirit friendly". It was well over a century old when we lived there. I saw a soldier (spirit) at the top of my stairs, I was sitting on my bed doing my homework- looked up and he was looking at me. I can still remember the fine detail on his uniform, and he had brown short hair and dark eyes. To me I felt he was like reinacting something over and over and our house must have been part of that. Many homes in the area were used as a part of the Underground Railroad. As for the home we are in now it has some activity and it's over a century old as well. Mainly though it would progress when we were doing extensive renovations. It's been quiet for about a year now. Last incident a very heavy candle holder I have in the dining room up and jumped off the shelf. In that same spot orbs have showed up in pictures. So I took everything off those shelves put some protective religious pieces out also burned white sage on occasion and that has seemed to move whatever it was onward. I've been privy to that other world so long now.. It doesn't really scare me. IP: Logged |

Sounds to me that you encountered a "Resonance". Unlike actual ghosts; resonances can be very visible to the living people. With rarest of exceptions, ghosts generally cannot hold enough energy to manifest in a visible way. Resonances however are often very visible! They usually keep repeating over and over and also will show no awareness of being seen or heard. Heance, they are a "recording" and not a ghost. Resonances are like a detailed recording/impression left behind by folks in highly emotional or traumatic or tragic circumstances. Even the living can leave resonance echoes after frights or arguments; or any highly charged emotional event. One can feel these echoes or ectoplasmic goos hours or more once the person leaves or the fight ends. There are ways to keep any resonances that emanated from living household members or guests, from interfering with anyone after the episode is over; but that is another subject! Most hauntings that manifest visibly are resonances. Oh actual ghosts can still be around; but the resonances are much easier seen and far more common. OK....very tired....must go...will reply more asap.
